The match between Twilight Killer and Ryder Savage was set for the main event. On the line was Twilight Killer's SWF Heavyweight Championship.
Ryder was motivated to avenge his teammates brutal defeat at the hands of Killer. A few months earlier, Twilight Killer had beaten Brusier Bolt so badly that he may never be able to enter the ring and compete ever again.
Both men made their way to the ring, but one notable difference was that Ryder didn't make one of his usual eccentric entrances, rather he simply walked to the ring with no accompanying music or graphics at all.
He simply walked to ring with a a singular focus. He had no other thoughts in mind other than avenging his teammate.
The fight began with a furious exchange of blows. The impact of each man's strikes could be felt in the first few rows.
Twilight Killer went for a grapple but the position was stalled by Ryder. The two disengaged and reset.
The match then slowed down into a stalemate where neither man could get the upper hand. However, the balance would soon be broken.
In an out of character move, Ryder jumped to the top rope and started to run along it. When Twilight Killer ran to pursue him, Savage quickly changed direction and landed a drop kick to the masked face of Twilight Killer.
He continued to make bizarre and erratic movements and attacking with unusual techniques.
"What's he doing in there?" Super Maxx asked.
"I don't know but I think it's working." King Mystery answered.
"He's letting his creativity and rage flow at the same time." Ryder's wife Lyndsey Becks said as she watched the fight. "He used to fight like this a lot when he was first starting out. As his career went on he would develop a more conventional style, but this is him at his peak."
"That's good to hear, he can win this then." King Mystery said confidently.
"I just hope you don't push yourself too hard." Becks thought to herself.
With Ryder's unconventional approach, he was able to get an overwhelming advantage over Twilight Killer. As he was starting to get pummeled by Ryder Savage.
Suddenly, as he was getting beaten, Twilight Killer suddenly snapped. In much the same way he did against Brusier Bolt, Killer started to perform brutal and wild attacks that immediately turned the tide of the fight into his favor.
However, Ryder didn't not look defeated, far from it. When he started to get beaten in his fight he actually started to smile.
"It's about time you started acting like that. I had to work hard to push you to use it." Ryder Savage responded.
Twilight Killer couldn't understand what Savage was talking about.
"I can see that you don't understand what I mean. I guess I'll just have to teach you the hard way."
Suddenly the fight returned to an even match. However, something strange started to happen in the middle of the ring.
Ryder Savage suddenly started to radiate heat from his body.
"What's happening?" Twilight Killer thought.
"It's time to burn it down." Savage said as the heat only intensified as time passed.
"Whoa! I've never seen that before! What's going on?" King Mystery asked.
"He's increasing his heart rate. That in turn is increasing his physical abilities, the increase in blood flow in turn increases his body temperature." Lindsey explained. "He's undoubtedly head and shoulders stronger than he was before but the draw back is that it puts an incredible amount of strain on his body."
"That's crazy, I didn't know he could do something like that." Maxx said.
"He's never had a reason to push himself that hard before. Even when he challenged you for the title. As much as he wants to win he's never wanted to win so bad that he was willing to put his life on the line, but this is different. He will do whatever it takes to get revenge for Brusier."
Ryder Savage continued his brutal onslaught of attacks against Killer. His speed and power increased with each passing second and so too did the heat encompassing his body. Eventually the heat was so intense that the ring started to melt and the spectators in the front few rows to be evacuated. It was as if the sun was in the middle of the ring.
"So this is what Ryder can do when he goes all out. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that whenever we fought." Maxx said as the fight continued on.
Ryder was now overwhelming Killet with extreme power and speed. Killer had already snapped and returned the favor with wild and brutal attacks. If you are wondering what kind of techniques the two men used I'll just say this. The fight did not contain a single technique, it was simply a match, of ruthless aggression.
In the end, Twilight Killer was lying on the canvas with his body covered in blood and burns. Ryder Savage let out a guttural scream in a declaration of victory.
