Chapter 676 - The Lord of the Three Kingdoms

I stood in front of the vault for a while before closing the door. The system responded to my mana and sealed everything without a sound. For a moment, the silence of that space was absolute, as if it isolated not only the money, but also everything it represented.

I walked back up to the mansion with calm steps. Night had already taken over the surroundings, and the soft lighting in the corridors created a sense of stability I hadn't felt in a long time. It wasn't complete peace, but it was close.

Scarlett was the first to break the silence.

"You're thinking too much."

I looked at her.

"Always."

She gave a slight smile.

"But now it's different."

"Why?"

"Because this time you have a reason."

Rai'kanna approached soon after, lightly leaning against my shoulder.

"Three territories. Three sources of income. Three populations under your command."

"I know."

"That's not a small thing," she said.

"It isn't."

We walked to the main hall. I sat down for a moment, resting my arms on my knees, simply organizing everything in my mind. Elara and Lyannis remained standing, as if they were still analyzing everything we had seen during the day. Liriel sat closer, calm, while Vespera remained leaning against the wall, observing.

"Let's put this clearly," said Lyannis. "Human lands stabilized. High production. Consistent profit."

"Yes."

"Elven lands with balanced growth, high quality, and controlled mana flow."

"Yes."

Elara added,

"And demi-dragon lands with accelerated growth after direct intervention."

I nodded.

"Yes."

Scarlett crossed her arms.

"So… you're making money from three different sides at the same time."

"Yes."

Rai'kanna let out a soft laugh.

"Do you realize what that means?"

"I do."

"Then say it," she said.

I looked at all of them.

"It means I no longer depend on anything external."

The silence that followed wasn't one of doubt. It was confirmation.

Lyannis nodded.

"Exactly."

Elara added,

"You built your own foundation."

Liriel smiled softly.

"And a solid one."

Scarlett tilted her head.

"And a very profitable one."

Vespera spoke quietly.

"And independent."

I took a deep breath.

"Yes."

I stood up and walked to the window. The view of the city of Vailor stretched ahead, with scattered lights and constant movement even at night. It was a living place, and in some way, part of it was now my responsibility too.

"I started as an adventurer," I said.

Scarlett replied,

"And you still are."

"Yes… but that changed."

Rai'kanna approached.

"You evolved."

"Not only in strength."

Lyannis completed,

"But in position."

Elara crossed her arms.

"And in influence."

Liriel looked at me calmly.

"You're building something bigger."

Vespera finished,

"And that carries weight."

I nodded.

"It does."

I stayed silent for a few seconds, simply watching the city.

"If I wanted to… I could stop."

Scarlett let out a soft laugh.

"You won't."

"No."

Rai'kanna answered immediately after,

"Because that's not who you are."

"Exactly."

I looked back at them.

"Money solves a lot of things."

Lyannis nodded.

"Almost everything."

"But it doesn't solve what's coming."

Elara kept her gaze firm.

"No."

Liriel remained silent for a moment.

"You still feel it?"

"Yes."

Vespera answered before I could speak.

"It's closer."

I looked at her.

"You noticed it too."

"Yes."

Rai'kanna crossed her arms.

"So it wasn't just an impression."

"No."

Scarlett lost her smile for a moment.

"So it's going to happen."

"It is."

The atmosphere shifted subtly. There was no panic, but there was no complete lightness anymore either. It was as if everyone knew that balance wouldn't last.

"So what do you do now?" Lyannis asked.

I thought for a moment.

"I continue."

"Continue how?" Elara asked.

"Training. Managing. Preparing."

Rai'kanna nodded.

"Makes sense."

Scarlett gave a slight smile.

"You don't know how to do anything else."

"Not really."

Liriel stood up and approached.

"And we'll continue with you."

"I know."

Vespera simply said,

"Always."

I took another deep breath.

"So that's it."

I looked at each of them.

"Three kingdoms. Three foundations. Everything functioning."

Lyannis added,

"And you at the center of it."

"Yes."

Elara added,

"You became a key piece."

Scarlett corrected her.

"No… he became the axis."

Rai'kanna smiled slightly.

"That sounds more accurate."

Liriel agreed.

"Yes."

Vespera said nothing.

But she didn't need to.

I looked out the window one last time.

Everything was aligned.

Functioning.

Growing.

But deep down…

I knew.

This wasn't the end of anything.

It was only preparation.

"I won't stop," I said quietly.

Rai'kanna replied,

"Neither will we."

Scarlett added,

"Then let it come."

Lyannis nodded.

"We'll be ready."

Elara kept her gaze firm.

"Or as close to that as possible."

Liriel smiled gently.

"And together."

Vespera finished,

"Always."

I closed my eyes for a moment.

Three kingdoms.

Three sources of power.

One single direction.

And an enemy that still hadn't made its final move.

I opened my eyes again.

"Then come," I murmured.

And this time…

I was waiting.
