Hearing Vegeta's words, Son Goku could only give a wry smile.
The battle with Thanos had already drained most of his strength. How could he possibly compete with Vegeta now?
After making his declaration, Vegeta looked at Kaido and said, "Done disappoint me!"
As soon as the words fell, Vegeta rushed straight toward Kaido. He leapt into the air and aimed a punch directly at Kaido's face.
"Where did this bug come from? Get lost!"
Kaido roared and raised the mace in his hand, swinging it toward Vegeta with brutal force.
Watching the two clash, Krillin couldn't help feeling a headache.
"Are Saiyans really this impulsive? Seriously..."
He was completely speechless.
They had just met, and they were already fighting again.
Piccolo, standing beside him, suddenly removed his outer clothing, revealing his powerful physique.
Krillin asked in surprise, "Piccolo, are you going to fight too?"
Piccolo looked at the remaining members of the Beasts Pirates and revealed a grim smile.
"Since the battle has already begun, there's no reason to show mercy!"
After saying that, Piccolo rushed toward the rest of the Beasts Pirates.
When Thanos and his companions saw this scene, they felt a hint of regret.
What kind of madness was this?
However, this was also the perfect opportunity to leave.
"Let's go," Thanos said firmly.
Gamora and Nebula said nothing and quietly left with Thanos.
This encounter had dealt Thanos a heavy blow.
Several of his subordinates had already died at Vegeta's hands.
Facing Saiyans from a warrior race like this was simply unreasonable.
Not long after Thanos left, the Beasts Pirates were completely annihilated.
Vegeta and Piccolo had wiped out the entire main combat force of the Beasts Pirates.
Kaido died the most miserably.
Half of his forehead had been smashed open by Vegeta.
Vegeta's abilities were restricted, and Kaido's abilities were restricted as well.
Even relying purely on physical strength, Kaido could not compete with a Saiyan.
"Tch! I thought he was stronger than that."
Looking at Kaido's corpse, Vegeta snorted disdainfully.
Suddenly, Vegeta seemed to remember something and turned to look in another direction.
But the area was already empty.
"Damn it!" Vegeta cursed angrily. "He actually ran away!"
The person Vegeta was referring to was naturally Thanos.
Compared with Kaido, Thanos was far more worthy of being his opponent.
Far away,
Thanos, who was moving quickly, suddenly staggered and nearly fell to the ground.
Gamora quickly supported him and said, "Father, let's rest for a moment."
Thanos nodded.
With Gamora's support, he sat down on a large rock.
After sitting down, Thanos's expression remained extremely grim.
To be honest, everything that had happened still felt unreal to him.
He had suddenly been dragged to this strange place and encountered a group of battle-crazed warriors for no reason.
His forces had suffered catastrophic losses.
All of his Black Order subordinates were dead.
Even Thanos himself had been seriously injured.
"Father," Nebula asked with a frown, "what exactly is this place?"
Thanos's face darkened even further.
It was a question he himself wanted answered.
"We may have been dragged into some kind of conspiracy," Thanos said slowly.
"A conspiracy?" Gamora looked confused.
Thanos continued,
"We were probably summoned here by some unknown existence using special means."
"The purpose is likely to force everyone here to fight and kill each other… until a final victor emerges."
It had to be said that Thanos, a tyrant capable of ruling large portions of the universe, possessed extraordinary intelligence.
After only a brief analysis, he had already guessed most of the truth.
Hearing Thanos's words, both Nebula and Gamora felt a chill run through them.
To summon so many powerful beings here and force them to slaughter one another...
Such a method was terrifying!
"Father," Nebula asked nervously, "what kind of existence could possibly do something like this?"
She had fought beside Thanos for many years and had seen countless things.
She knew that certain cosmic lifeforms were incredibly powerful and were even called gods.
But even so, what they were experiencing now seemed completely unimaginable.
Hearing Nebula's question, Thanos's expression grew even darker.
Throughout his life, Thanos had encountered many true cosmic entities—such as Galactus, one of the Five Cosmic Entities, and the Goddess of Death.
But even among those beings, he had never seen anyone capable of something like this.
Could it be...
the legendary Celestials were behind it?
…
At that moment,
Fenric and the others had just bypassed the forest and were heading toward the center of the island.
"It looks like it's almost noon."
Fenric glanced up at the sun and said,
"Let's find a place to rest, eat something, and recover our energy."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
Since this place resembled a battlefield similar to Battle Royale, danger lurked everywhere.
Preserving stamina was extremely important.
If danger appeared while they were exhausted, the situation would become very dangerous.
Soon after, the group rested inside an empty house while eating.
There wasn't much food.
Everyone could only take a small portion—just enough to ease their hunger. Getting full was impossible.
Fenric asked Aurora and the others to eat first while he and several others kept watch.
Once Aurora and the others finished eating, they would switch roles.
In the wilderness, such caution might seem unnecessary.
However,
Fenric remained extremely vigilant and insisted on maintaining the guard rotation.
The others fully supported his decision.
After lunch, everyone rested for a while and searched a few nearby houses before continuing their journey.
In an open clearing,
Fenric and the others unexpectedly encountered three figures.
Aurora's expression immediately became serious when she saw the purple giant leading the group.
"Shura, that's Thanos from the Avengers dungeon. He's an extremely powerful character… actually, he could even be considered a godlike being."
Aurora whispered.
Fenric nodded.
In fact, he was already very familiar with most of the Marvel storyline and understood Thanos even better than Aurora did.
When Fenric and the others spotted Thanos,
Thanos, Gamora, and Nebula also noticed Fenric's group.
Most areas on this island were open plains with very few places to hide.
Unlike typical Battle Royale games, ambushes were nearly impossible.
Perhaps the system had deliberately designed the terrain this way—to ensure that people encountered each other quickly and were forced into battle!
