Two beams of gray light shot into their bodies, instantly breaking the seals. They were pushed back by power to stand before Violet, stumbling twice before finding their balance.
Kane's voice was low and left no room for argument as he commanded, "Swear loyalty to the royal family, or die."
Blood River and Shadow exchanged a look. In each other's eyes, they saw pure fear.
They could clearly feel the heavy pressure coming from Kane, along with his rapidly recovering energy.
They knew that if Kane fought with full power, they had absolutely no chance to resist. So, they dropped to one knee and bowed in submission to Violet.
Violet stepped forward. She gathered a pale gold royal totem mark in her fingertip and stamped it onto the forehead of each of them, planting a seal of obedience.
Then, she issued her orders right there: "Blood River, lead the 110,000 elite puppets from the Bloodline Temple to defend the eastern line at Bone-Blood Plains."
