Chapter 130 - What They Didn't Tell Us

No one went to bed.

Not even for a minute.

The house stayed lit, quiet but alive with movement, every room turning into a space for planning, thinking, connecting pieces that didn't want to fit. The clock kept moving, but time didn't feel real anymore. It felt compressed, like everything was closing in on a single point—morning.

Aiden sat at the dining table, laptop open in front of him, one leg stretched out, the other bouncing slightly under the chair. He wasn't even aware of the movement. His eyes moved across the screen, scanning maps, satellite images, anything that could give them an advantage. Next to him, Noah stood with his arms crossed, watching, occasionally leaning in to point something out, his focus just as sharp.

"Zoom in on the east side," Noah said.

Aiden did, dragging the map slightly. "Here?"

"Yeah."

The image sharpened, revealing more detail—structures behind the main warehouse, smaller buildings, possibly storage units, maybe something else.
