A few days later, Dane convened all League members for an important meeting, except for Atomica, who should still be at Checkmate, presumably reporting back to Waller or the Outsider.
To prevent them from eavesdropping on their meeting using methods unknown to Dane, Dane chose the Watchtower as the meeting location.
"Everyone, I've called you here today to discuss something, about the parallel Universe..."
...Just as the Justice League was discussing, Madame Xanadu's fortune-telling parlor welcomed a special guest.
The female customer was soaking wet, looking distraught and very haggard.
She told Madame Xanadu that she had been having nightmares for the past few days, dreaming that she had burned herself alive, and she believed there was something evil inside her.
At this point, the woman began to cry.
Madame Xanadu couldn't help but feel compassion.
The woman continued, "Ever since two nights ago, when I woke up to find a barrel of gasoline by my bed, I haven't been able to sleep again."
Madame Xanadu wanted to help her, but before she could, she first had to touch the woman's hand to activate her abilities.
As she held the woman's hand, a vision of the future unfolded before her, but it wasn't about this woman; she saw a great battle!
Fire, raging flames, erupted across the city, and a man floated high in the sky, looking down upon the burning city.
Madame Xanadu was familiar with that figure; he belonged to Dane, that God-like man.
Suddenly, the man turned his head and glanced at her, and Madame Xanadu immediately withdrew from the vision.
"You!"
She instantly realized that the woman before her hadn't come to her for help; she had come to cause trouble!
"You can actually see?" The woman shrieked with laughter.
She tightly gripped Madame Xanadu's hands: "You can't escape now, come watch some fireworks with me!"
But then, her expression suddenly changed, and she turned her head, seeing a figure...
Just as the Justice League was preparing for a meeting to discuss how to proactively tackle the "Crime Syndicate" dungeon, Pandora, one of the key figures in this incident, located The Question through divination magic.
As members of the Trinity of Sin, it was easier for them to find each other than for ordinary people.
So Pandora immediately set off for Kahndaq, but what she didn't know was that The Question was actually looking for her too.
He had already guessed what Pandora had taken from the Black Room, and this made him realize that danger was approaching.
Therefore, The Question could no longer keep his promise to Dane; he walked out of the Hall of Justice.
However, his every word and action were still monitored by the Spirit of Kandake; this was an order Dane had given her.
But before The Question even left Kahndaq, the Spirit of Kandake had already sensed a huge darkness approaching the city; Pandora had arrived.
And by virtue of the Trinity of Sin's mutual sensing, The Question also detected Pandora's arrival. He unconsciously walked in the opposite direction from her, and then they met somewhere in Kahndaq.
"Pandora!" The Question saw her at a glance, and his gaze fixed on the Magic Box in her hand.
"You actually brought such a dangerous thing out! What are you trying to do!"
Pandora held the Magic Box in front of her, bringing it closer to The Question: "The Question, you possess the power to open the Magic Box."
