This day, the World was peaceful.
Dane opened his office door; outside was Themyscira.
He arrived at the Amazons' arena, where the contestants for the next battle were already ready.
As he walked along the path, people constantly nodded to him, and Dane smiled back.
The arena was already filled with Amazons, and on this occasion, their attire was everyday style.
The Amazons still continued the traditional Greek clothing style, which in short was the art of "one piece of cloth."
As the name suggests, they only had one piece of cloth wrapped around them; this cloth was not cut in any way, but simply draped, wrapped, and tied on their bodies, or sometimes fixed with pins and straps.
This made the cloth very light and breathable on them, and highly imaginative, and for the Amazons with excellent figures, this type of clothing could better highlight their body lines.
Zeus, I think I somewhat understand your happiness.
The Amazons stood in various poses on the stands, their heroic yet somewhat alluring eyes fixed on Dane. Something in the air inexplicably began to grow hot.
Zeus, I have to say it again, I understand your happiness!
In the arena, two fully armed female warriors stood.
One of them was named Artemis, not the goddess from the Olympian Gods, but a female warrior from the lost Amazon tribe of Bana-Mighdall.
She was tall, standing at six feet, almost as tall as a man, and weighed 165 pounds.
Her biceps and abs were clearly visible in the sunlight, and on her shoulder, she carried a giant axe half her height.
Artemis glanced sideways at her opponent, a warlike expression on her face.
And her opponent was Big Barda, whom Dane had brought to Earth some time ago and who had since resided directly on Themyscira.
Big Barda was even taller than Artemis and weighed more, but her figure looked even more slender than Artemis, her physique rivaling that of Wonder Woman, Diana.
She had already donned Amazon battle gear: a long spear and a round shield.
Considering the strength of both of them, the weapons in their hands this time were all demigod artifacts that had received Dane's "blessing," and should be able to withstand the damage.
"Since everyone is here, let the duel begin!"
Dane, as the witness, raised his hand and fired a lightning bolt into the sky, the thunderous sound heard across most of Themyscira.
The moment the signal was given, Artemis and Big Barda simultaneously launched into action!
Artemis swung her giant axe with both hands; she was an exceptionally talented Amazon.
In the comics, she even briefly served as Wonder Woman for a time; not counting divine power, purely in terms of Amazon abilities, even Diana would find it hard to guarantee a steady win against her.
Artemis possessed two common abilities, super strength and super speed, but combined with her exquisite martial arts, they could unleash incredible power.
Big Barda sensed the danger and chose not to block with her shield but stepped back, avoiding the incoming blow.
The giant axe hit the ground, and with the added force of Artemis's immense strength, the ground instantly exploded as if blasted, smoke and debris obscuring Big Barda's vision.
Big Barda stood ready, cautiously holding her round shield in front of her chest.
Suddenly, a figure burst out of the smoke, swinging the giant axe horizontally.
Big Barda reacted immediately, actively pressing her shield against the giant axe, then, following the direction of the axe's movement, she spun in the air, allowing the giant axe to fly beneath her body.
Immediately after, Big Barda thrust her spear, its tip pointing directly at Artemis's throat.
Unable to do otherwise, Artemis could only abandon her giant axe and retreat, the axe flying off due to inertia.
But as she stepped back, she formed a cross with her hands, clashing them together to trap the incoming spearhead, while simultaneously pulling the spear towards her.
She wanted to seize the weapon!
Big Barda quickly realized this, but she was in mid-air and couldn't exert force.
