"Victor Stone, we need your help with something."
Dane's tone was very gentle towards this child, who had already lost his mother and normal life due to an accident.
He originally thought that his appearance had caused a butterfly effect, and Victor Stone should no longer have encountered this accident. He didn't expect him to still suffer misfortune.
This made him wonder, could it be that fatalism really exists in the DC Universe?
Just like Barry Allen is destined to become the Flash, and Victor Stone is destined to become Cyborg?
Victor seemed to be thinking. After they waited a few minutes, a line of text finally appeared on the screen:
What do you need me to do?
See how important a good reputation is?
In the movie, he refused when Wonder Woman first invited him!
"Cortana."
Dane called her name. Cortana understood and stepped forward, materializing the appearance of the mother box into a 3D model for Victor to see, and also thoughtfully explained.
"It should be labeled as item 6-1-9-8-2 in your home. Its energy is of the same origin as yours."
As soon as Cortana finished speaking, Victor replied:
I know this thing. It's hidden where I live, and this thing has been acting strangely lately.
Upon hearing this, Diana immediately asked, "What exactly are the strange movements?"
I... I don't know how to describe it. It's like it suddenly came alive... It seems to be sending some kind of signal.
Hearing this, Dane immediately felt something was wrong. He immediately said to the screen: "Victor, you immediately! Now! Leave there!"
But the big screen buzzed a few times and suddenly went black.
Dane immediately said to Cortana: "Send his home coordinates to my wristband!"
The data light in Cortana's eyes flickered, and she said, "It's done."
Then Dane turned to Arthur and Diana: "I suspect something has happened to him. Are you coming with me?"
Diana and Arthur certainly agreed. So three beams of teleportation light flashed, taking them to where Victor lived.
When they arrived, a group of Parademons had already surrounded Victor, who was 99% mechanical.
At this time, Victor had already transformed his hands into white noise cannons and was firing at the Parademons with both hands.
Diana drew her sword without a word and charged, using her Lasso of Truth to ensnare one of them. With a strong tug, she pulled several others beside it down.
Then she rushed forward, cutting them down one by one as easily as slicing melons and vegetables.
Arthur also advanced simultaneously. He crouched and leaped, soaring four or five stories high, and stomped on the back of one of the Parademons.
Then he plunged his golden trident into the neck of another, swiftly severing its head.
Before it could fall, he jumped onto another, repeating the action, instantly killing several Parademons that hadn't reacted.
Under attack, the Parademons all began to redirect their aim, firing their energy weapons at Diana and Arthur, but their divine artifacts blocked all attacks.
Moreover, both of them possessed Old Gods bloodlines, so even if one or two shots hit them, they felt no pain.
Dane did not join the fight against the Parademons, and the Parademons seemed somewhat wary of Dane, not bothering him.
He frowned, looking at an apartment building by the street. Suddenly, a wall burst open, revealing a tall, armored alien covered in spikes—it was Steppenwolf.
Steppenwolf also saw Dane and his expression immediately changed. He instantly looked up at the sky.
Dane knew he was about to open a Boom Tube to escape, and he rushed out instantly.
However, before he could grab Steppenwolf, a massive object charged over, knocking him away with a greater mass than Dane's.
By this time, Steppenwolf had successfully opened a Boom Tube and left, not even bothering with his Parademons.
Dane quickly regained his footing on the ground. He pulled out his feet, which had been driven into the Earth, and looked ahead: it was a new Doomsday!
And it was daytime!
Dane immediately said, "Cortana, expand the Dream and blockade this street!"
Cortana immediately complied, transforming this street into a Dream battlefield.
Doomsday roared heavenward and ran towards Dane.
Dane simultaneously ran towards Doomsday, using the super speed granted to him by his divine power.
Two Iron Fists, one large and one small, collided in the center of the battlefield with a thunderous roar, like a bomb exploding in the middle of the street, directly destroying the entire block!
Diana, Arthur, Victor, and the remaining Parademons were all affected, blown away by the impact.
Dane, at the center, dug his feet into the Earth, using the friction of the ground to stop his backward momentum. Doomsday, opposite him, did the same.
This punch was already eighty percent of Superman's level. This Doomsday was the real deal!
Many thoughts flooded Dane's mind. He knew very well that the Doomsday he had killed was currently in the Dream awaiting study.
But for this Doomsday to appear at this time could only mean that Steppenwolf had likely mastered a way to mass-produce Doomsday.
However, Steppenwolf should be a warrior; he understood tactics but not necessarily technology. Some suspicion arose in Dane's mind.
But he temporarily suppressed this suspicion and fully focused on the Doomsday before him.
So he flicked his wrist, releasing the Kiss of Death again, preparing to give this Doomsday the same treatment.
However, he saw a section of metal on Doomsday's body extend like liquid, instantly enveloping its entire form.
It formed an armor on Doomsday's surface, very similar to Steppenwolf's, even covering its gruesome face.
Dane immediately felt targeted. Although the Kiss of Death in his hand had been enhanced by divine power, its fundamental material was still eternal metal; it was not indestructible.
He already had a premonition that the silver armor on the opponent's body was specifically designed to defend against his "sting."
But to test the strength of that armor, Dane still flew up.
He nimbly dodged a swipe from Doomsday and thrust the Kiss of Death into its body.
As he expected, the armor was exceptionally hard. The Kiss of Death deformed on impact, its sharp tip compressing inward.
It was hilarious; it couldn't penetrate at all!
Dane flew backward, then straightened the Kiss of Death.
It seemed this divine artifact had finally met its match. If it couldn't even break the defense, then a one-hit kill was out of the question.
He decisively put away the Kiss of Death and pulled out a half-man battle-axe from his back. He refused to believe this armor could withstand an attack from an eighth-metal divine artifact!
So Dane flew forward again, striking with a swift, lightning-fast blow.
Doomsday raised its arms, and its armguards clashed with the battle-axe, once again unleashing a violent impact.
Dane retreated again, but he had already discerned the true nature of that battle armor.
It appeared to have withstood the battle-axe's attack unharmed, but in reality, it worked by coordinating countless metal components on the armor to deflect the battle-axe's attack, distributing the force across the entire armor.
However, this force-deflection had a limit. The previous blow was not entirely absorbed; Dane sensed the opponent's abnormality.
But Doomsday did not have such a delicate mind. Seeing that he had taken the attack without harm, he roared and charged again.
Dane, wielding his battle-axe, engaged him in battle once more.
Arthur saw the battle was fiercely contested and wanted to help, but Diana stopped him.
"He's enough on his own."
Diana, having returned from Hell to the Real World, knew Dane's capabilities, so she wasn't worried at all.
To be frank, if he wished, his power could even break the upper limit of the Dream's capacity, simultaneously affecting the Real World.
But that would go against the original intention of protecting the populace. Sometimes, having to suppress one's power to protect a fragile World is quite difficult.
When there's finally a punching bag to let loose on, no one wants interference.
Victor silently stood aside, offering no opinion.
But the cybernetic computer inside him had already analyzed it: Shazam's chances of winning were far higher than that monster's.
Five minutes later, Shazam and Doomsday had already exchanged thousands of blows.
Dane did not use energy, so he would not give the opponent a chance to absorb divine power.
And Doomsday's heat vision had no other effect than to warm Dane's body.
Ten minutes later, Dane finally found the limit of Doomsday's armor. He caught a punch from Doomsday with one hand and threw him into the air with a back-throw.
Then he leaped, and the power of the God of War instantly condensed within him. He gripped his axe with both hands and swung down forcefully.
This time, he directly cut Doomsday in half at the waist!
