The morning fog still covered the forest of Floor 52 when Ethan opened his eyes slowly.
The cold air inside the cave brushed against his skin while faint monster cries echoed from somewhere far away.
He immediately grabbed Bloodblade Ashura beside him and stood up.
His body still felt sore from the previous day's battles, but his condition had recovered enough to continue moving.
Ethan stepped outside the cave and looked toward the endless forest ahead.
"So this floor really has nothing except monsters…"
He clicked his tongue softly before continuing his journey.
The deeper he traveled into the forest, the more dangerous the surroundings became. Giant claw marks covered several trees, while piles of bones littered the ground.
Some belonged to monsters.
Others clearly belonged to humans.
Ethan remained alert while moving between the trees.
