When the last sheet of paper was pulled from the Typewriter, the horizon had already taken on a pale whitish hue.

The man took off his hat and introduced himself in fluent Russian.
Mendeleev stood up and looked at the other person with some confusion.
"Imperial Bank? I don't remember having an account at your bank, and I don't have any spare rubles to deposit."
Seeing this, Charles smiled slightly, walked up to the desk, and opened the briefcase.
"You don't need to deposit money, sir. I am here to deliver money to you."
