Looking at his father's expression, Newton's expression also shifted, as he immediately became serious. He understood that such an expression only appeared on the old man's face when it was something very important.
And since it was leaving the old man a headache, most probably, it was related to the family. At the thought of that, his expression became even more grim.
"Father, what is it?" After taking a deep breath, Newton asked.
The old man stared at Newton for quite a while, before he ended up letting out a helpless sigh as he said, "It is about them. They still want our two families to join hands. The same way as before, through marriage."
Even though the old man had not exactly mentioned who it was that he was talking about, but Newton did not have to think much about it to know what he was inferring to.
