Jay's POV
I was still waiting for Keifer to get home, and that's when I got a call from him.
Keifer: Jay, I'm sorry, I need to go to the Philippines immediately for some work. I'll be back in 5 days.
Jay: Oh, okay, Keifer. I said in a sad voice.
Keifer: Don't be sad, and Jay, I promise I'll make it up to you once I return.
Jay: Okay, did you eat?
Keifer: I just boarded the flight. I'll eat soon.
Jay: Ok, Keifer, I love you, and have a safe flight.
Keifer: Thank you, Jay. Love you too. Bye.
Then I ended the call.
To be honest, I was devastated because I had planned to surprise him about the pregnancy, but it's fine anyway his birthday is coming soon so I'll surprise him at that time.
I called all our section e classmates and family to inform them to come to London for his Birthday party and surprise.
It's so hard not to tell anyone about this but still I have to hide it so it can be the best surprise ever.
I made all the arrangements for the party, decorated the house with balloons held up a big board that showed happy birthday papa , for the papa I had hid it with a small cloth which Keif will pull in time of revealing the surprise to him.
Thinking about his reaction makes me grin like a mad person.
(A week passes soon enough)
Finally in the day before Keifer's Birthday everyonr had arrived. I told every one to hid upstairs and shout happy birthday when Keifer arrives.
There was a stack of gifts paced in the counter but I bet my whole life that my gift will be the best and the most precious one.
Ci-n and Tita Gemma asked me what my gift was?.
Wait for sometime you'll know it I replied with a wink.
Soon all the food items had arrived and i placed them in the dining room and left for changing my dress.
I wore a simple white floral frock with puffy sleeves, matching white pearl jewelry and the mainly the diamond necklace Keifer had gifted me for our wedding.
Now time to wait for his arrival....
