Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: I Have a Bold Idea, Ron

Boom!

One side of the ship's hall exploded, and a huge hole appeared before everyone. Rolling gray smoke surged from its edges.

Refreshing!

Very refreshing!

Super refreshing!

Kaido looked at the "masterpiece" he had personally created and nodded in satisfaction. His gloom finally cleared at that moment, and even his breathing became smoother.

"This idiot." Linlin covered her face, her tone full of a disgusted 'I can't watch this.' "Does he know what he just did?"

"This is too entertaining," Gloriosa murmured, her eyes shining faintly. But in the next second, she covered her mouth.

Something was wrong.

She had never been this bad before.

In this kind of situation, her first reaction should have been concern for whether their companion was all right. Yet now, she almost hoped something had happened to him.

Was this what people called adapting to local customs? The cultural influence of the Rocks Pirates was far too great.

"Jihahaha!" Golden Lion, who had been overheated with rage earlier, immediately cheered up when he saw his dead rival get slapped flying. He shouted at Kaido, "Kaido, well done!"

As soon as his voice fell, a furious shout came from the huge hole. "Kaido, you bastard!"

Silver Axe's figure appeared at the edge of the hole, veins bulging on his forehead.

Kaido's tone was light. "Mm. So what? Want to get me next round? Sorry, I'm surrendering."

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed from the side. Rocks kicked out.

Kaido's body suddenly dodged, and Rocks's kick missed.

"Oh?" Rocks raised a brow in surprise. "You bastard. You dare dodge?"

Kaido stared at Rocks in astonishment. Weren't you the judge? A judge ambushing a player? Are you still human?

"Rocks, you bastard," Kaido cursed. "Did you take dirty money from Silver Axe?"

"Judge, I report Kaido for breaking the rules! He used a weapon! A weapon!" Silver Axe shouted toward Rocks.

"What?" Kaido immediately argued with perfect confidence. "The rules never said we couldn't slap with weapons, right?"

Silver Axe's face instantly darkened. "Hey. Are you serious? You'd better think before you answer, or I'll kill you."

"Judge." Kaido raised his hand sharply. "I feel that my personal safety has been threatened."

"Get lost!"

As Rocks's voice fell, his figure flashed and appeared behind Kaido in an instant.

Then he lifted his foot and kicked Kaido in the backside.

Boom!

With a loud crash, another huge hole appeared on the other side of the ship's hall.

"He really deserves a beating," Rocks said, shaking his head. "Can't you learn something good from Ron?"

As soon as he finished, he wanted to take those words back. After thinking carefully, Ron was full of bad water too. There was nothing good to learn there.

"Forget it." Rocks waved. "Pretend I didn't say that. Remember to patch both holes by tomorrow morning."

In the end, Silver Axe successfully entered the final match against Golden Lion.

As for the result, Golden Lion won.

But the winner did not laugh, and the loser laughed himself numb.

On deck, the sea breeze blew gently, and the flag on the mast rustled softly.

Ron had just come out of the ship's hall when he saw Kaido walking quickly toward him.

Ron's heart tightened instinctively, but soon relaxed.

Wait. Why had his heart suddenly tightened?

"Hold on." Ron raised a hand for Kaido to stop. "Don't tell me you have something else to ask me for. I'll say it first. I refuse."

Kaido looked at him with disgust, his tone carrying a bit of grievance at being wronged. "Do I look like that kind of person?"

"Don't you?" Ron asked back, meeting Kaido's eyes without avoiding them.

"Fine. Even if I am." Kaido simply admitted it. He stepped closer, lowered his voice, and a wicked smile appeared on his face. "I have a bold idea."

Ron was slightly startled. "How bold?"

"Didn't Rocks kick me just now?" Kaido smiled cheaply.

"So," Ron looked at him, "you want to go kill him? Uh... that is pretty bold."

"Just wait, Ron." Kaido's eyes shone with confidence. "You will definitely admire my intelligence."

Ron frowned slightly and still could not help reminding him, "Forget it, Kaido. If you sneak attack Rocks, he'll beat the shit out of you."

"Do you think I'm that reckless?" Kaido asked seriously.

"Let me think." Ron carefully recalled, then gave a very certain answer. "You're also a dumbass."

"..."

"Bastard, don't look down on me!" Kaido cursed, but still patiently explained his plan from beginning to end.

His plan was simple. Rocks had ordered him to repair the ship, so he intended to delay until the middle of the night before starting.

Then he would take a big hammer and hammer away loudly in the middle of the night, using noise to torment Rocks and force him to lose sleep.

After Ron listened, he fell silent for several seconds.

'Damn. This kid is a genius.'

Under Rocks's explicit order, he would use "repairing the ship" as a legitimate reason, making it impossible for anyone to target him.

If this move succeeded, even if Rocks wanted to get angry, he would have no proper excuse. After all, Kaido would indeed be completing the task Rocks assigned him, just at a rather "special" time.

"Forget it, Kaido." Ron waved, signaling him not to take the risk. "It's not worth it."

"You're not standing on my side?" Kaido asked.

"..."

The next day, Ron had slept early the previous night and heard nothing.

When he woke in the morning, he felt that Kaido probably had not been able to get up and had abandoned his plan.

After washing up, Ron came to the ship's hall, preparing to enjoy the breakfast Annika had made.

"Morning, Ron." In the hall, Kaido looked at Ron with a cheerful smile, his tone unable to hide his pride. "Last night's plan went very smoothly."

Ron froze slightly and looked Kaido up and down. "No matter how I look at you, that doesn't count as 'smooth,' Kaido. Don't you ever look in a mirror?"
