Seeing the figure that had disappeared, Mei Terumi stomped her foot hard before turning back to her desk to continue with her official duties. However, the scroll on the desk was accidentally torn in several places by her pen.
Since Kirigakure was located near the sea, coupled with its perpetually humid climate, most buildings in Kirigakure were much taller compared to other ninja villages. Of course, not all buildings were like this; for instance, Mei Terumi's home.
When Yuto left the Mizukage's office, the sun was already beginning to set.
A two-story house, though its exterior looked extremely ordinary, once stepping inside, it was as if entering another world. Similar to Mei Terumi's exquisite dressing style, all the furniture and decorations in the house were exceptionally exquisite.
Although Yuto didn't have much concept of money, he knew that Mei Terumi could be considered a genuinely wealthy woman.
Yuto was half-lying on the sofa, an expression of extreme enjoyment on his face. During the time on the ship, he couldn't be this comfortable; sea voyages were never calm.
Yuto slightly closed his eyes, but his mind was pondering Uchiha Madara's next moves. Of course, compared to Uchiha Madara, Yuto was more concerned about Senju Hashirama.
After all, no matter what Uchiha Madara intended to do, his ultimate goal probably wouldn't change, but Senju Hashirama was different. This was also what gave Yuto the biggest headache; after all, with that guy Senju Hashirama's personality, anything was possible.
And regarding Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, Yuto wasn't as indifferent as he appeared on the surface.
"It's a pity that Senju Hashirama's revival was completely unexpected. The death of Kinosuke Yoshiro is somewhat regrettable."
Yuto gently opened his eyes, a hint of regret flashing across his face. Soon after, Yuto's eyes flickered slightly again: "But then again, maybe not."
Just as Yuto was lost in thought, the sound of the door opening suddenly echoed. Mei Terumi rubbed her somewhat swollen head and walked in casually.
When Mei Terumi saw Yuto lying on the sofa in the living room, she clearly froze for a moment.
"You're back." Yuto waved his hand toward Mei Terumi, speaking in a calm tone. "I thought you had gone to Utakata's place."
Mei Terumi looked at Yuto, her face showing obvious surprise. Although Mei Terumi had initially arranged for Yuto to live in her own home, the number of times Yuto had actually come here could be counted on one hand.
Most of the time, Yuto usually stayed at Utakata's place. After all, the place where Utakata lived was at the boundary of Kirigakure, with very few villagers living there. It was extremely convenient for Yuto to practice experimental jutsu there.
"Since you're here, let's eat. I've been waiting for half a day and I'm hungry."
Yuto moved slightly, and his entire figure disappeared from the sofa. When he reappeared, Yuto was already sitting on a dining chair behind the sofa.
Only then did Mei Terumi notice that all sorts of food had already been laid out on the dining table ahead.
Could this be something Master Yuto made for me? Seeing this scene, Mei Terumi's heart suddenly skipped a beat, and a blush quickly appeared on her cheeks.
"Really, the villagers are so enthusiastic. I didn't spend a single penny and got so much food; it's a bit embarrassing."
"What are you standing there spacing out for? Hurry up and eat, or it'll get cold." As Yuto devoured the delicious food on the table, he shook his head with a sigh.
Hearing Yuto's words, Mei Terumi's face stiffened, she stomped her foot hard, and strode to the dining table, picking up food and starting to eat.
Yuto looked up at Mei Terumi's slightly stiff expression, feeling somewhat puzzled. However, in the next moment, Yuto's attention was once again attracted to the fish balls on the table.
Iwagakure
While Yuto and Mei Terumi were enjoying their dinner happily, under the cover of night, a white shadow swiftly streaked across the dark sky.
"Hmm... it's been so long, but the village really hasn't changed at all."
Deidara gazed down at Iwagakure from above, a smile playing at the corner of his mouth.
Looking at the empty sky ahead, Deidara quickly pressed his hand against the giant bird made of clay. The giant bird, which was already moving at incredible speed, became even faster under Deidara's control.
At the same time, this clay giant bird flew along a special route through the air, as if avoiding something.
As the giant bird continued forward, the smile on Deidara's face grew wider. Just as Deidara had guessed, since he left Iwagakure, the barrier hadn't undergone any major changes.
As the former disciple of the Third Tsuchikage Onoki, Deidara naturally knew something about the village's barrier. Therefore, for Deidara now, the entire Iwagakure was practically unobstructed.
"Old man, you really do trust me..." Deidara murmured as he looked down at Iwagakure below.
"Hehe, do you regret it now?" Behind Deidara, a somewhat special White Zetsu let out a light laugh.
"Hmph! I won't regret it." Hearing White Zetsu's voice from behind, Deidara frowned slightly and let out a cold snort. Seeming to sense Deidara's displeasure, White Zetsu shrugged slightly and didn't speak again.
At the speed of the clay giant bird, Deidara and White Zetsu flew rapidly through the sky above Iwagakure, as if searching for something.
After quite a while, an impatient expression began to appear on Deidara's face. Without turning his head, he spoke to White Zetsu behind him:
"Well? Still haven't found it?"
White Zetsu shook his head helplessly.
"Sorry, I haven't sensed anything."
"What a surprise. It seems the Four-Tails jinchuriki isn't in Iwagakure." White Zetsu scratched his head, looking somewhat embarrassed.
"What a pain." Deidara's eyebrows furrowed slightly, his voice carrying a peculiar tone.
"In that case, we'll have to use Plan B. Although the two plans aren't really related, hehe." White Zetsu reached out and touched his chin, pretending to be in deep thought.
"Shut up. One more word and I'll throw you down." Deidara's tone became somewhat hostile.
White Zetsu showed a frightened expression and immediately covered his mouth with both hands.
Seeing White Zetsu close his mouth, Deidara let out a light snort and turned his gaze back to Iwagakure below, maneuvering the giant bird to hover in mid-air.
In the next moment, Deidara pulled out clay from his pocket and began rapidly shaping it.

If you can support, it would genuinely help me continue the daily releases and early access content. If you cannot, reading and sharing the work is also appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
