Mmmm....
It's morning already?
"Wake up sweety."
"....yeah.... Yawns.... I'm awake mom."
A little girl sat up on her pink bed. She then opened the side window. "It's really morning now. What time is it?"
She stood up and checked the table clock, 6:30 am. And a note on the side.
'I still miss you dad. -Crystella.' That's not my handwriting, she thought. In any case, it's school time soon and today is Cia's Birthday.
She quickly ran from here to there and back n forth. Completing every morning tasks. Helping mom in placing food on table and putting up clothes. Her routine is all normal till her gaze fell to the notes around the house. They are everywhere. 'I still miss you dad.'
She don't remember much and her mom just ignores these appearing notes as if they don't exist. These tiny note papers just comes in sight and disappear. As if telling her not to completely forget the man who is her dad.
"Bye sweety safe travels~"
"See you after afternoon mom!" Crystella left the house. School from here is just at some walking did so it doesn't matter if she goes on alone.
Hailing has been weird lately. I wonder if he's ok?
Sometimes he just disappears, oh well I should not care so much.
"Crystella?"
"Oh. Ark." She met Ark on the school gate. "Did you see Cia?"
"Not yet. Let's go."
They went on inside the school grounds. This school is really weird even Crystalla has to admit this.
"Yeah yeah right there!!"
There is always some random festivals happening and no one cares. Just the festive clubs. Right now she can see some tall guys putting up a giant statue and giving it some weapons and making him look like demon.
"What's that?"
"Dunno." Ark himself just ignores all that. "You don't care?"
"All I care about is why Hailing has been different. He no longer plays cards with me."
"Hm hm. His card game was good."
They took a turn and class is just few steps ahead.
"Anyways, exams are coming. Maybe 2 weeks from today."
"Oh! I totally forgot the schedule!"
"Hahahaa. Well then you need Cia for that. Same goes for me."
They entered the class and started looking around. They quickly want to congratulate Cia but she doesn't seem to have arrived yet.
"Uh.... I guess she's running late."
"Yeah."
They sat on their seats. Crystella looked at the empty place beside her where Cia sleeps. "I should study or I might fail."
Then she saw those 2 boys who for some reason follows Ark. But even they come atlast in class. CIA is not coming today? She looked back to Ark and he understood what she meant.
"...."
He just nodded seriously and putted his hand inside his bag. And pulled out a walkie talkie? It has got weird shape but is definitely something closer to that.
He moved the circular dial and putted back in bag. He shouldn't show this to class. Then he picked up his bag on, putting on the desk and putting his head halfway inside.
"Looks funny." Crystella whispered to herself. Soon teacher too came.
"Cia? Ark here."
"Idiot."
"Eh? Hello?"
"You at school?"
"Yeah?"
"Why?"
"Why? What why?"
"I told you all it's my birthday!"
"I know and happy birthday!"
"Telling me that now? Sighs.... Listen I meant we will play all day so skip school."
"Ooooh. Crystella is also here. And those 2 too."
"Sighs. And Hailing?"
"Still not here. Ok then we all come to your house after school."
"Ok...."
"Don't be sad."
"Yeah I'm good. Can you bunk?"
"What is bunk?"
"Nothing bye!"
"Eh? Hello? Sighs...."
He putted bag back on it's place and then saw Hailing running into the class huffing.
"Teacher! Huffs.... Sorry, I'm late."
He should have gone and accompanied Cia. Oh well we all are same.
Hailing went and sat with Ark. "Where were you?" , "running late hehe. Where's Cia?"
"Wait."
....
After half classes ended they all came to the club room.
"So yeah. We made mistake and Cia is angry now." Ark explained everything.
"So she meant we skip school and come to her house instead? Didn't knew that." Hailing looked confused.
Then Crystella said, "house? Say it Villa. It's huge!"
"Come on how huge can it be? Didn't she said it's two floor only?" One of the those 2 guys opened his mouth.
"Shut up, I've seen her house from inside and comparing it to mine. It's really huge." Crystella backfired.
"Still can't be bigger than Ark's house!" He said and Ark punched him making fly around. "Know your place fool!"
"Oh I've heard that somewhere." Other one said.
"So what to do now?" Crystella asked and Ark looked serious. "She said to bunk but what's bunk?"
"Well we shouldn't bunk if you don't know what is bunk."
"Eh?"

Back to class after break.
"School so boring!" That guy who got punched by Ark exclamed to himself.
"Don't make noise." Teacher said in heavy tone.
Hmmm. Teacher has been weird too. She has dark circles under her eyes. What's going on?
Crystella was thinking that when she saw Hailing asking teacher for going to pee.
Hm?
"Shh! Shh shh!"
She looked back and saw Ark gesturing. She looked back to front and then threw a note back to Ark. It hit Ark but he couldn't see what hit him.
What?
She just picked up those randomly appearing notes and wrote her message on it after cutting the 'I still miss you dad' thing. But looks like Ark cannot see these.
In the end Ark himself threw a not.
'I have something to investigate on. Hailing is weird. I know his skill is acting and he is desperately using that these days to hide something.'
She wrote her message on the back and threw it back.
'so whose on investigation team?'
Ark smiled as Crystella agreed. He wrote another message. And threw it forward.
'we will talk about all that with Cia later when Hailing is not around. He always goes somewhere so we can easily get those times.'
She just nodded back while looking at him.
Then it's settled. We are going to investigate Hailing. What's he doing exactly.
....
"Hm? Sir Aurevia wants to see me?"
Hailing in bathroom is looking at his cellphone. Then clicked on that ladu from organisation number.
"Hey meet Sir Aurevia yourself. I'm busy today. And maybe tomorrow as well. Till then uh just don't go on the backside rooms."
Of course I don't want them to know that I'm storing ice cream in backside rooms.
"Ok sir. We will keep that in mind. When can we check the rooms then?"
Hm? Is she suspecting me?
"After tomorrow 6pm."
By 6pm I'll rescue my special ice creams.
"Ok sir. Thanks for your guidance." Eh? Guidance? Sure sure.
Then he came back to class only to find Ark making a weird face.
Oh I know what Cia would say here.
"Ugly." He said while sitting beside Ark.
"Heh. Don't try to copy her." Ark replied. It's clear that Hailing needs more luck now to escape Team Ark's suspicions.
"And you know what Hailing?" , "what?"
"I am going to do something great again."
"Again? Sure sure." These kids are good. Heh. Hm? What's that?
Hailing gaze fell on the crumpled note that Crystalla threw at starting but Ark couldn't see. Hailing looked at it for few seconds and then ignored it.
