Yeah why not. Who even is willing to hear a 29 year old middle man? They talk so professional and optimistic as if the world is so bright. Do they not understand the consequences?
Then someone puts hand over Leo's shoulder. "You've done good. Now at the very least, they do know what is going on."
Leo looked towards the man. He is the representative of a small nation but has social impct on many. Mr. Rao.
"Can we really do only this much?" , "Perhapes, yes. We can only do this much."
Then Mr. Rao went with his own bodyguard.
Slowly people started leaving the room.
I don't understand these people. Leo sighed.
"Sir, we got connection." One of the two men with him, spoke in his ear. "Now what? Is Zegurth calling?" , "No sir. It's from hometown. They say that Mr. Zegurth's student's team called them and informed about the church."
"What?" Zegurth's student's team? Who was his student again? And why are they involved? "What is the data?"
"The main thing is that, they delivered a big blow to the biggest Church of Sovereignty organization, that is in Vermillion Bird Country. Right now as this meeting ended, they say they had been fighting with them."
"Why?! Now what is the situation there??!" Leo's outburst voice echoed in the room and people who were last to leave froze in their place. They all are thinking one thing. Did his patience snapped?
Leo looked at other and gestured them to leave. Only few powerful individuals remained.
"Currently sir, the whole thing is under control and no aftermath is seen. There is no ripple. And the fight happened at two places at once. The city of lights, Kiriri. Though it's massive amount of area is outbof light right now and the second fight was happening at the outpost of the main headquarter."
"Huh? Does that mean location is being exposed? Give me the phone, guess I'll need to talk myself." Leo quickly snatched his phone as he doesn't own one himself.
A man approached him, "hey War leader, what happened?" , "shut up and go home. You were silentduring the whole meeting and now dare talk to me?" Leo looked away an dialled the number.
The man then leaned into one of the Leo's men. "Hey hey buddy, can you tell what is going on?" , "are you gay sir?" He backed away. "So rude I see."
"Hello? Yeah I'm Leo. So Where's the location? How much time has it been?" Leo kept talking while remaining people just found their seat and sat down. Waiting for him to finally tell them the thing that excited him so much.
"Sighs...." Leo looked around after hanging up phonecall. "Hm? So you people didn't go?" , "well old politician people are out. Let's continue a secret metting amoung us." The suspicious man suggested. "In this room? Well I do need your help now. Let's go to some other room." Leo replied.
They all stood up and walked to the corridor. While walking they booked another room online and came there one floor below this level. "Is this secure enough for you Mr. Leo?" That man asked while opening the door to a VVVIP room. Highest security and privacy room available in this skyscraper.
"You do have too much to burn." Leo said while looking around. "Well I can burn even more for my Leo sir." Man said while winking. He has got hot looks but apparently he tries to flirt with any being he passes by, age or gender doesn't matter, he even found flirting with dogs and plants outside the building.
"I rather not. Now for the main thing." Leo said and continued while walking to the front. "We can take down Church of Sovereignty ourselves, legally and privately in coming future. Only if you guys are willing to help me, that is."
Few leaned back on their chair while some along with that man scratched their heads.
"Well tell me your plan. I'm in. I just didn't wanted to work with politicians." Man said. Leo's eyes squinted, "weren't you flirting with old geezers before I came this morning? Sighs. Ok now here's my plan. And if anybody here wants to go now, they can, because after hearing the plan, you are not allowed to say no." Leo stated. That was the most humble request he has made so far.
2 people stood up. "We wish you success." And left.
"Ok so here's the full information so far I know. Some private team actually fought to the Church and did a massive blow to them in Kiriri. The city of light of Vermillion Bird Country as we talked in the meeting. And because of that I guess, their location is being exposed." Leo opened the digital board on wall and connected to his laptop.
"Which filled up my own chart of their location trends." , "woah, what a stalker." , "you want a zipper in your mouth?"
"So right now. We can actually predict the location of 'Headquarter' itself." He pressed the enter button and the previous location showed. Country Hydra.
"What?" Everyone froze once again. "Yeah. Apparently, theu were right under this country. But I guess not now. But my chart here clearly shows that they follow a pattern of appearance. Or say, a pattern they must follow to use this power of appearing. The reflection of sickle constellation."
"Leo, sorry to say but isn't sickle constellation is 'Leo''s constellation part? The Leo head and mane?" Man pointed out.
" well I'm surprised you saw that atleast. But it's not really the case here. That mark is slightly off so it's not really the constellation mark itself. It's just kind of like it's reflection." , "but then again, how can you be so sure that we can follow this pattern. Because if it's really real then you should have known that church was in this country."
"You think logically enough huh? Good. The thing is that I knew it. But wasn't sure, that's why I didn't do much about this pattern and waited till this meeting. But oh heavens, that meeting waiting was worst thing I've done." , "I approve." He just kept mocking him.
"So now. We will simply make our preparations for the main attack even before they show up at expected place. Just so you guys know, I've my family backing on this matter."
"Yooo, your family with you? Those qi cultivators? Now we have no problem leading our own armies as well." That man stood up in his place. "C'mon guys, let's wage a secret underground war on the Church. And I'll try my best to pursuit politics as well." , "finally you are useful." Leo sighed.
But really, how does there appearance power works? Their building just appears out of nowhere in night times according to that constellation. I just hope this secret war won't turn into something as massive as world war 2.
