Chapter 363 - Chapter 363: Beating a Pervert to Death with a Barrage of Fists

Chapter 363: Beating a Pervert to Death with a Barrage of Fists

The Flower Sect was located in the northwest region of Central Plains, quite a distance from the Pill Tower. Fortunately, the Pill Tower maintained a direct spatial wormhole to that area, so Xiao Yuan and Yun Yun simply entered it. It would only take about nine days to reach their destination.

For Yun Yun, being able to go on a long journey alone with Xiao Yuan was a rare delight. Ever since the two of them had once collaborated to obtain the semi-pure purple crystal source from the Amethyst Winged Lion King, they hadn't had many opportunities to work together. Although Xiao Yuan had once stirred up waves on Mount Yunlan and even served as an elder of Yunlan Sect, staying there with Yun Yun for a while, it had been different from adventuring side by side.

Things had only grown more difficult since coming to Central Plains. There had been virtually no chance for her to travel alone with him—almost all their outings had included the rest of the girls.

So from the moment they stepped into the spatial wormhole, a bright smile had never left her face.

Xiao Yuan didn't spoil the mood by shutting himself away to cultivate. Instead, he spent the time reminiscing with Yun Yun about the past and discussing the future.

On the ninth day, as the tunnel ahead brightened, the two finally arrived at Baihua City, a bustling metropolis in the northwest.

Baihua City hadn't always been called that. It was located not far from the Flower Sect, although the sect's location was impossible to find without a discerning eye.

Still, disciples of the Flower Sect often passed through Baihua City. And since the sect only accepted female disciples—each as beautiful as a flower—they naturally became a stunning sight whenever they appeared. Over time, the name "Baihua City" ("City of a Hundred Flowers") stuck.

However, because the Flower Sect remained secluded, the local powers had little connection to it. So Xiao Yuan didn't plan to seek any introductions. Once exiting the wormhole, he immediately took Yun Yun and flew southeast out of the city.

That said, cities ruled by strong local powers generally forbade unauthorized aerial movement.

Sure enough, moments after they took to the sky, a voice echoed coldly:

"Are you new to Baihua City? Don't you know flying is forbidden here?"

As the voice fell, several figures soared upward. Judging by their hovering stance, they were all Dou Zong-level experts.

Leading them was an old man at the peak of the Dou Zong level.

"It's my first time here. I'm in a hurry and have no time to chat."

Xiao Yuan gave them a brief glance and then casually tore open space, pulling Yun Yun in with him.

He didn't want to waste time on trivial matters.

"Tearing open space?!"

The old man's pupils shrank.

How could someone who radiated only Dou Zong-level aura accomplish a feat only Dou Zun powerhouses could perform?

"A precious gem like that walking right through my city? What a delightful surprise!"

A slightly effeminate voice sounded. Space rippled as someone else forcibly disrupted the spatial channel Xiao Yuan had constructed.

A man in a deep V-neck crimson-purple robe appeared in the sky. Strangely, he ignored Yun Yun completely. His gaze was locked on… Xiao Yuan.

With his powerful soul perception, Xiao Yuan could clearly sense where the man's eyes were fixated—and it made his skin crawl.

Honestly, even when he had witnessed Queen Medusa half-naked during her evolution, his gaze hadn't been as vulgar as this guy's.

"…."

Xiao Yuan suddenly felt that he'd been too polite lately. He now wanted to slap every single person surrounding him into the ground.

"I don't care about your nonsense. One, I'm in a hurry. Two, are you tired of living that you're eyeing me like that?"

Before the man could respond, Xiao Yuan raised a finger. Instantly, six glowing figures shot out from his ring, unleashing golden light as they attacked the perverted Dou Zun.

Clearly, Xiao Yuan was livid. He had summoned all six of his Wind Lightning Pavilion Heavenly Demon Puppets to deal with a mere three-star Dou Zun.

Perhaps because they had cultivated lightning-based techniques in life, these puppets—after being refined with pill lightning—now had a natural affinity for speed and lightning.

Although the four elders—Wind, Cloud, Thunder, and Lightning—were only on par with one-star Dou Zuns, they were still refined killing machines. Together with the stronger puppets of Lei Zun and Fei Tian, even a six-star Dou Zun would have trouble dealing with all six at once.

This unfortunate soul, a mere three-star Dou Zun, stood no chance.

Xiao Yuan didn't even wait. He released a surge of soul force so intense that it crushed the man's spiritual defenses outright.

The puppets had no souls—no problem there.

But the pervert in the purple robe? His head felt like it was about to explode. His soul nearly left his body from the overwhelming pressure.

Before he could recover, the six puppets surrounded him and beat him into paste.

As for his soul—Xiao Yuan's gaze flared with orange-red flame, and the soul combusted on the spot.

"Waste my time and disgust me? Do I look like I have a good temper?"

With a wave, Xiao Yuan retrieved the man's storage ring, recalled his puppets, and glanced coldly at the stunned Dou Zongs nearby. Then, without a word, he raised his hand and delivered a series of crisp slaps to every single one of them.

The slaps echoed in the sky—and then Xiao Yuan and Yun Yun vanished silently.

"…That young man…"

The old man who had first spoken finally snapped out of his daze. Looking around, he noticed the remains of Baihua Xiejun, scattered like ground meat.

"Not good! I need to get out of here!"

His face turned pale, and he sped off toward the spatial passage.

No one would care that Baihua Xiejun was dead. He wasn't even officially part of the Flower Sect. Some might even celebrate.

But his older brother, Yaohua Xiejun, was no joke—a member of the Heavenly Underworld Sect and a six-star Dou Zun with a vengeful, ruthless nature.

If he found out, everyone here would be in trouble.

Better to flee while he could!

Xiao Yuan, of course, had no idea that his spontaneous execution of a creep would bring future trouble. But he wouldn't have cared even if he did. The Heavenly Underworld Sect was nothing compared to the Pill Tower.

Even though the Three Thousand Burning Flame had erupted, it was currently engaged in a soul battle with Xiao Yan and unable to control the flames threatening the seal. So for now, the situation was stable.

Before leaving, Xuan Yi had privately given Xiao Yuan a spatial jade slip. If he ran into something he couldn't handle, breaking it would create a portal through which she could arrive immediately.

He had backup now.

Life or death? Bring it on.

Following Yao Lao's instructions, Xiao Yuan used his soul to scan the area. Soon, in the midst of a long mountain range, he sensed something unusual.

When he pressed forward, the void rippled like an invisible wall.

"How do we get in?" Yun Yun asked, staring at the spatial barrier.

"Simple—we find someone inside to bring us in."

Xiao Yuan flicked his finger. A beam of Dou Qi struck the barrier, stirring it violently.

Sure enough, a few moments later, a patrol disciple arrived. Seeing Xiao Yuan and Yun Yun, she paused.

"I am Xiao Yuan of the Pill Tower. On my teacher's orders, I've come to deliver medicine to Elder Hua Yu. Please inform her."

He spoke with a smile.

"You're here to visit the former sect master?"

The disciples exchanged looks. The lead one bowed slightly and left two companions behind to wait while she went to report.

After a full quarter-hour, she returned.

"Please follow me."

She waved her hand, activating a petal that parted the barrier. She gestured for them to enter.

The moment they stepped inside, a rich floral fragrance enveloped them—along with a surge of powerful natural energy.

"What a wondrous place."

Floating in midair, Xiao Yuan and Yun Yun looked upon the world hidden behind the barrier in awe.

Before them was a seemingly endless range of flowery peaks, each covered in brilliant blossoms. From afar, it looked like an ocean of color. Petals danced in the wind—it was like a fairyland.

"So beautiful…" Yun Yun murmured in wonder.

"This must be part of a formation," Xiao Yuan observed.

He could feel the dense energy hidden within the flowers, and the swirling petals in the air followed an arcane trajectory.

The lead disciple smiled. "Indeed, this is the Flower Sect's protective array. Without proper guidance, one would be lost forever in this sea of flowers."

"These flowers… are they Dreaming Petals? Rare to see so many in the outside world," Xiao Yuan noted.

"You're quite sharp! Yes, they're Dreaming Petals."

She smiled and nodded.

"We'll follow your lead, then. I'm under orders to deliver something to Elder Hua Yu," Xiao Yuan said seriously.

"Understood. Please stay close. If you take the wrong path, you'll become lost."

She led them onward, flying in strange, curving patterns. Xiao Yuan and Yun Yun were both experienced enough to follow without showing confusion.

At the edge of the flower field stood a majestic mountain range. Flowers and clouds wove through its cliffs, and many pavilions stood atop its ridges. Laughter from unseen women echoed in the air.

At the center stood a towering mountain crowned by a grand platform. It was paved with blue stone and engraved with petal patterns.

There, many figures stood, all looking toward the flower sea with serious expressions.

The appearance of Xiao Yuan and Xiao Yan had been major news. The Flower Sect, one of the two great sects, had its own information network. Many elders already knew Xiao Yuan's identity.

As the likely next Pill Tower leader, they might not know him well—but they dared not take him lightly.

Not to mention that he claimed to be here on behalf of his teacher. That alone demanded a proper reception.

It was a show of respect toward Xuan Yi, and a matter of honor.

As Xiao Yuan emerged from the flower sea, he was greeted by an impressive gathering. He smiled and landed in front of two women at the forefront, cupping his fists.

"I am Xiao Yuan. May I ask your names?"

"I am the Flower Sect's Grand Elder. This is Acting Sect Leader Hua Jin."

The elderly woman spoke calmly.

Beside her, Hua Jin seemed momentarily dazed upon seeing Xiao Yuan.

"I'm unworthy of such a grand welcome," Xiao Yuan said respectfully.

Even with his soul strength, he couldn't see through the Grand Elder's cultivation—she had to be at least an eight-star Dou Zun.

"I was sent by my teacher to deliver a pill to Elder Hua Yu. May I trouble you to arrange a meeting?"

"You're here to deliver a pill?"

The Grand Elder frowned. To her knowledge, Hua Yu and Xuan Yi didn't share a close relationship.

"Grand Elder, my teacher is Yao Chen. He sends his greetings to you, Elder Hua Yu, and all the seniors of the Flower Sect."

Xiao Yuan's voice transmitted privately to the Grand Elder.

"…Yao Chen?"

The Grand Elder froze. Then her gaze deepened as she scrutinized Xiao Yuan again.

Finally, she said calmly, "Come with me, both of you."

Turning away, she led them toward the main hall.

Her voice echoed behind her:

"The rest of you—dismissed."
