Chapter 285: The Madness of the Night
At Franklin's words, Reine Murasame instantly grew displeased. She stood up, strode over, and straddled his lap on the recliner.
"Little Lin, you promised—once everything was over, you'd never leave me again."
Franklin felt helpless. His memory of Reine was still fixed on her as Kotori's assistant: expressionless, perpetually tired, dark circles under her eyes, socially withdrawn—the classic sickly beauty.
His impression of Takamiya Mio was limited to Phantom, the origin spirit, and the final existence he needed to connect with in the Dimensional Tome. He had no memories of any intimate relationship.
Seeing Reine now—so lively, looking at him with full expectation—he truly didn't know how to respond.
"Um, Miss Reine…"
Her brows furrowed, and a bead of sweat formed on Franklin's forehead.
"Mio?"
He tried the name tentatively. Instantly, her expression softened, a smile curving her lips.
"What is it, little Lin? Ready to make good on that promise?"
Franklin shook his head helplessly. "No, I still don't have my memories back. It feels… really unfamiliar.
Could you wait a little longer, Mio? Once I remember everything, I'll definitely make up for all the time I owe you—doubled."
Hearing that, Reine reluctantly climbed off him.
"Fine, it's a deal. Watching you be all lovey-dovey with the other spirits every day hurts my heart, you know.
When you finally remember, don't forget your promise."
Her resentful gaze made Franklin feel even more helpless. "I'm really sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it right now.
Once I remember everything, I absolutely won't forget. I'll make it up to you double."
Reine drained the red wine in her glass in one gulp. A sly glint flashed in her eyes.
"I'm going to sleep. Tonight, little Lin, you're staying with me. All these years without you—I've developed insomnia.
It's entirely your fault, so tonight you're responsible for helping me sleep soundly."
Franklin stiffened. "Isn't that a little… inappropriate? It feels like a one-night stand…"
"Little Lin, you're still such a perv. I said hold me while I sleep. I didn't say anything about doing more."
Franklin scratched his head awkwardly and could only agree.
Looking at Reine's alluring figure lying on the bed, he swallowed hard, then lay down flat beside her.
The next moment, she rolled over, grabbed his arm, and wrapped it fully across her chest.
"You need to hold me tighter so I feel safe. Otherwise I won't be able to sleep.
Your favorite Kurumi has been trying to kill me this whole time—I'm terrified."
Franklin had no choice but to pull her tightly into his arms from behind.
Feeling the softness against his arm, a ripple of desire stirred in him, but he forced it down.
As Reine's breathing gradually steadied, Franklin finally relaxed.
Just as he started to get up, his arm was pulled back.
Looking at the deeply sleeping Reine, he eventually lay back down and held her close.
It wasn't until midnight that she finally released his hand.
Franklin didn't linger. He expanded his domain and saw Origami and Chiyogami sleeping in the same bed.
After one last glance at Reine, he left her room.
The instant he was gone, a figure in a long white dress appeared on the other side of the bed where he had lain.
"What exactly is little Lin trying to do, always making me do such strange things?"
Feeling his lingering warmth, Mio smiled, rolled over onto the spot he'd just occupied, hugged Reine, and drifted into deep sleep.
Franklin teleported directly into Origami's room.
Seeing the two girls chatting, he erased their perception of him, crept to the bedside, and slipped a hand under the covers to caress Chiyogami's thigh.
Chiyogami's expression turned strange as she glanced at Origami beside her.
As Franklin's fingers slowly moved upward and finally cupped that softness, Chiyogami's cheeks flushed crimson.
She pushed his hand away and gently nudged Origami.
"Stop messing around. If Lin sees, he'll misunderstand us."
Origami looked at Chiyogami with puzzled eyes at the odd comment.
"What's wrong? If you don't want to share a bed, you can go back. I'm confident my charm will draw Lin here faster."
Realization dawned on Chiyogami's face. "So that's your plan. Well, I won't give in.
Besides, if we're together, Lin doesn't have to visit two separate rooms. What's there to compete over?"
She huffed and turned away—only to feel a hand stroking her rear again.
She endured it until the hand crept slowly toward her most private place. Then she snapped.
"Origami, if you keep this up, Lin will get the wrong idea. I'm not into girls—even if it's my other half, I don't like being touched by a woman."
Origami paused briefly, then instantly understood everything.
"Lin, if you're here, come out already. I've been waiting for this moment forever.
Last night with Chiyogami, I didn't feel anything—it was all just her enjoying it."
At Origami's bold words, Chiyogami's face burned even redder.
Franklin stopped hiding. After fully soundproofing the room, he expanded the bed to its maximum size, then pinned Origami beneath him. Their eyes met, the hunger in them identical.
With a snap of his fingers, he removed all unnecessary clothing. Gazing at her smooth, snow-white, glistening skin,
he lowered his head and took that softness into his mouth. Origami, who had been waiting for this, let out an immediate moan.
Chiyogami, watching the scene unfold, covered her face with her hands,
leaving only a small gap to peek at the two of them—like a wild beast in intense foreplay. As they finally became one,
the sounds of heavy breathing grew louder, and Chiyogami's face grew hotter.
Seeing Origami respond to him every moment, her usually icy expression now filled with excitement and desire, Franklin felt an immense sense of accomplishment.
They reached perfect sync again and again; the pleasure was unparalleled.
As time raced by, they both let out soft cries together. Watching Origami go temporarily limp, Franklin turned his gaze to Chiyogami, who still had her face covered.
