Chapter 251: Sleeping Under the Same Blanket

[Due to unknown reasons, the Talent Awakener's body and soul experienced spacetime disorder. The issue has now been corrected.]

[The To Love Ru–Dragon Ball main world has been successfully located. The Talent Awakener may choose to return at any time. Upon return, Sub-task 3 will be immediately settled.]

[Sub-task 3: On the premise that the Naruto worldline does not collapse, make large-scale changes to the Naruto timeline (the more thorough the changes, the richer the rewards).]

[Remaining task time: 5 years (not completed)]

[If you choose to continue completing the task, the time of return to the To Love Ru–Dragon Ball world will be the exact moment before the spacetime disorder when you last left.]

Looking at the floating text before his eyes, Franklin let out a long breath, sat down cross-legged, and immersed part of his consciousness into the Sea of Divine Sense.

Some questions had to be clarified. They would determine the direction of his future path.

The inner demon was a massive hidden danger. Although interacting with it gave the impression of being harmless to humans and animals, Franklin knew very well what kind of terrifying beast of desire was suppressed deep within his heart.

And the inner demon was its manifestation.

On the surface, it appeared harmless, but in reality, it would stop at nothing. Once freed of restraints, even Franklin dared not imagine how fast it would grow.

When he appeared once more in that elegant little courtyard, only You Wange remained in the pavilion. Franklin frowned slightly as an ominous feeling rose in his chest.

"You're here. It seems the matters of the outside world have temporarily come to an end…"

Seeing You Wange leisurely sipping tea and reading, Franklin suppressed his chaotic thoughts and sat across from her, pouring himself a cup of green tea.

"It seems you already knew everything. What do you think I should do now?"

Such a straightforward request for advice made You Wange pause mid-page. She smiled faintly and looked at Franklin.

"You don't blame me for not telling you in advance. You don't blame me for not stopping that guy."

Franklin took a light sip of tea and slowly exhaled.

"You've lived far longer than I have, and you know far more than I do.

From what I can tell, there's you, the woman who took over Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's body, and the Origin Ancestor–level figure who appeared before. The three of you seem to be from the same era, and it feels like you all carry some kind of mission and great secret.

My cultivation is too low, so I won't try to guess those things.

I only want to know one thing. That inner demon who left—should I chase after him right now and do everything possible to eliminate him? Or should I ignore him and focus entirely on developing my own strength?"

In just a few sentences, Franklin made it clear that he had already deduced quite a lot. The final two questions directly laid out two completely different future paths.

This caused a noticeable change in the way You Wange looked at him.

"It seems you've figured out quite a bit. In that case, I won't hide anything.

The one occupying Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's body is also called Kaguya, but her surname is Ji—her full name is Ji Kaguya.

There are some things I still can't tell you yet, but I can help you choose your future path.

My advice is to fully develop your own strength.

You will meet that inner demon again during the Inner Demon Tribulation at the Refining Void stage. If you merely chase after him, your path of growth will become too narrow, and you'll also end up being constrained and interfered with."

Franklin let out a breath and asked the question he cared about most right now.

"Does Ji Kaguya have any tools that allow travel between different worlds or parallel worlds?"

"Sorry. I'm not entirely sure about that either. That's why I want you to walk your own path with all your strength."

Hearing You Wange's ambiguous answer, Franklin let out another breath and directly withdrew from the consciousness space.

To be safe, he couldn't return to the To Love Ru world for now.

The longer he stayed in other worlds, the faster his strength would grow. Only then would returning to the To Love Ru world be safer and more secure.

His consciousness returned to the Date A Live world. Franklin slowly opened his eyes.

"Compare the time flow rates between this world and the other three worlds."

[Naruto World: 10:1]

[Daily Mixed World: 1:1]

[Strike the Blood World: 1:1]

Only then did Franklin truly relax.

Now that he had advanced to the Spirit Transformation stage, the next step was to push his abilities to their limits.

It was precisely because he didn't understand the source ability of Illusory World Genesis that the inner demon incident had occurred. Once all his abilities reached their peak, returning to the To Love Ru–Dragon Ball world would mark the moment of final confrontation.

He had to seal it back into his main body.

His mood gradually stabilized. Sensing his surroundings, he noticed faint light outside the curtains—it was already dawn. During the tribulation, nearly ten hours had passed in this world.

Just as he was about to move his body, Franklin realized he was experiencing sleep paralysis, completely unable to move.

Upon closer sensing, a cold sweat slid down his forehead. His consciousness focused on what had happened here during his tribulation.

As he carefully recalled, his memories gradually resurfaced.

Around ten o'clock, Kotori, wearing a white ribbon and pajamas, quietly entered the room. Seeing that Franklin hadn't woken up, she tiptoed into the bed and rested her head on his chest, quickly falling asleep.

Around eleven, Tohka came in wearing pajamas as well. Because Kotori was completely tucked under the blanket, Tohka didn't notice her at all and fell asleep on Franklin's other side.

Around midnight, since Franklin hadn't prepared pajamas for the two little ones, the pair slipped into the room wearing their rabbit coats. After whispering to each other about something, they stripped naked and crawled into Franklin's bed.

After discovering the two who were already there, Yoshino directly pushed them aside, and she and Yoshinon each rested on one of Franklin's arms, falling into dreamland.

As time passed, Kotori, resting on Franklin's right arm, hugged Yoshino, while Yoshino clung tightly to Franklin.

On the other side, Tohka lay against his arm and hugged him through Yoshinon, whose head ended up trapped between her snow-white curves.

When Franklin expanded his domain, he saw Origami Tobiichi sneak out of the room on tiptoe.

With a snap of his fingers, the four girls were instantly returned to their respective rooms. The beds and blankets were adjusted to the most suitable temperatures to avoid waking them.

Franklin understood clearly that his favorability with Tohka, Yoshinon, and Yoshino was the kind of instant full affection that came from love at first sight.

Sleeping together under the same blanket was still completely out of the question.

If he failed to control his lower half now, the future scene of all the Spirits sleeping together under one blanket would forever remain an impossible dream.

Just as everything ended, Origami Tobiichi quietly opened the door and entered the room. Their gazes met instantly.

"Lin, I think you need some morning service."

As she spoke, Origami walked into the room, closed the door, and locked it—all in one smooth motion.

Seeing this, Franklin hurriedly shook his head.

"No need, Origami. I don't need that right now. There's a date today—whatever it is, let's talk about it after the date."
