Chapter 170 - Chapter 170: The Three Artificial Angels Gather

Chapter 170: The Three Artificial Angels Gather

A pair of round, soft mounds pushed out from the rainbow vortex, their absolute sheen and size exerting enormous pressure on Nana and Momo.

As the vortex spun and contracted, the owner of those enormous curves appeared as well—long golden hair, blue battle armor, a small blue shield mounted on her left forearm, and a blue longsword in her right hand.

The moment her entire body was transmitted out, the rainbow vortex vanished. The newly arrived Astraea slowly opened her tightly shut eyes.

Those bright red pupils brimmed with pressure, an overwhelming aura erupting outward. Nana and Momo instinctively retreated, while only Franklin stood frozen in place.

"Engraving begins."

Chains extended and finally wrapped around Franklin's right hand.

"Close-combat artificial angel Astraea greets her master."

Looking at Astraea kneeling on one knee before him, head lowered, Franklin was still a bit dazed. Why in the world had he summoned this idiot Astraea?

Artificial angel… top-class in electronic warfare… flat-chested original. No matter how he racked his brains, aside from "artificial angel," how did the other two traits match what he'd envisioned?

"Um… Franklin, did you summon the wrong one again?"

Nana's speechless stare, Momo's curious look, and Astraea kneeling before him all made Franklin rub his aching head. He hurried to help Astraea up.

"Mm… mm… Astraea, dial back your aura for now. Don't run off. Put away the sword and shield too—we won't need them for the moment."

"Yes, master."

Astraea, now back in her girl-like mode, looked around curiously. Ikaros, dressed in her regular clothes, instantly entered her line of sight.

"Eh? Ikaros-senpai! Why are you here? I remember you being imprisoned, weren't you?"

Blank-faced Ikaros remained blank.

"Ikaros-senpai? I'm sorry, Miss Astraea. Master said most of my memories were altered and sealed. At the moment, I do not know Miss Astraea."

"Ehh—how could that be? If only Nymph-senpai were here, this would be easy to fix."

Franklin was speechless, and Ikaros opened her mouth but said nothing.

Nana glared fiercely at Franklin, that threatening look making a bead of cold sweat slide down his forehead.

Knowing that things would never end peacefully today without summoning Nymph, Franklin took a slow breath, carefully thinking through the reason for this mess.

After thinking it over, there was only one explanation: he had touched too many big chests today, leaving him completely indifferent toward flat chests, so after "artificial angel," his subconscious replaced the rest with big breasts—resulting in this ridiculous situation.

Franklin shook his head hard, restoring his mind to a calm, neutral state. Blue hair… no, Daedalus also had blue hair—though summoning her wouldn't necessarily be bad either…

[Reminder to talent awakener: If the summoned person or object's power, realm, or level far exceeds that of the talent awakener, the summon will fail and a substitute summon will occur.]

Franklin stared speechlessly at the text flashing before his eyes. Since it wouldn't misfire now, he emptied his mind and concentrated.

Electronic warfare, blue-haired, flat-chested artificial angel Nymph. In the next instant, Franklin initiated the summon.

This time his thoughts were firm and clear. He refused to believe it could go wrong again.

[Dimensional Summon: Success]

[Age: 30/892]

The rainbow vortex reappeared. Franklin did not let his focus waver for even a moment, still chanting in his mind: electronic warfare, blue-haired, flat-chested artificial angel Nymph.

As the vortex shrank, a streak of blue appeared before his eyes—but Franklin still remained vigilant.

Then came that delicate face and the heavy engraved collar around her neck. Only then did Franklin quietly exhale in relief.

The vortex spun and contracted; Nymph's figure gradually emerged. When her entire form had materialized at last, the rainbow vortex vanished.

"Nymph-senpai!"

Having pieced things together from the figurines, Nana and Momo both confirmed their guess in that instant.

Looking at Nymph's small, flat-chested body, then at Astraea's taller figure and generous chest, and finally at Astraea's golden hair that completely clashed with her blue hair type—

Nana's eyes were filled with murderous intent. Momo seemed to realize something as well and smiled slightly without commenting.

Standing at the front, Franklin shivered. Those icy stares stabbed straight into his back, chilling him.

The newly arrived little angel Nymph slowly opened her eyes, her blue pupils unfathomably deep.

Momo and Franklin, both highly perceptive, caught a fleeting trace of loneliness and sorrow hidden deep within her gaze.

It vanished in an instant. Under the contract dictated by the Dimensional Tome, Nymph looked straight at Franklin.

"Engraving begins."

The same scene repeated—the extending chain. Nana, annoyed, rushed forward and grabbed for the chain.

But the moment she touched it, the chain phased straight through her hand from another dimension and wrapped around Franklin's hand.

"You insect. What were you trying to do just now? Interfere with my engraving with my master?"

Nymph's sharp gaze pierced Nana. Behind her, transparent wings glowing with seven colors spread open, and an invisible field instantly expanded.

Sensing Nymph about to take action, Franklin quickly pulled Nana back and stepped forward to stop her.

"Nymph, calm down. You're no longer in Synapse—you should have already received that information."

Franklin's words were a command. Nymph instantly calmed, landing lightly on the ground. She attempted to kneel, but Franklin stopped her at once.

"There's no need for those useless servant rituals anymore. Don't do them again.

Just see yourself as a person, and treat others as people. Also, drop that habit of calling others 'insects.' It's way too rude."

His lecture counted as a command, and Nymph nodded lightly. She instinctively tried to kneel again, but the command prevented it, leaving her only able to nod stiffly.

"Good. Now introduce yourself. We'll all be living together as a family from now on.

And apologize to Nana—she did that for your sake. She didn't want you to suffer the chain's restraint again."

This time it wasn't a command. Nymph clearly resisted, her expression showing disdain and refusal.

Franklin could only explain gently: "Your underlying thoughts differ, and so do your perceptions.

I don't know what you used to think, or what you've gone through, but those bad habits you learned up in Synapse need to change."
