Chapter 124 - Chapter 124 How to Return to Earth

"Divination about this?" Rhine smiled helplessly. "Such a vague divination, without enough prior information and medium, it's almost impossible to get an answer."

"Years ago, I tried to use divination to find a way back to my previous world, but I didn't get any information."

"But, Teacher now has the crystal ball given by the Sea King, and Teacher is more powerful now than before, isn't that right?" Aurora persisted, "Try again, maybe there will be a result!"

Indeed, why not try again...?

Rhine took out the crystal ball and poured his immense magic power into it.

"A way back to Earth, a way back to Earth, a way back to Earth..." He murmured softly.

Rhine actually held no hope for this divination.

Perhaps, there was simply no way to return to his original world, so divination naturally wouldn't yield a result.

But with a 'nothing to lose' mindset—or perhaps because he could finally face his own desires—Rhine still did it.

Inside the crystal ball, a brilliant blue light burst forth.

The next moment, the light extinguished, and on the crystal clear surface of the crystal ball, countless mottled color blocks finally formed a line of text:

"Find the mysterious president of the Witch Society."

Rhine and Aurora's gazes froze simultaneously.

Did the divination really yield a result?

There truly was a way back to Earth!

And what the divination pointed to was actually the mysterious president of the Witch Society, the founder and the original Witch of the Witch Society!

Who exactly was the founder of the Witch Society?

She actually knew the way to Earth?

Rhine was utterly astonished.

Suddenly, the crystal ball in his hand vibrated violently, as if a terrifying power was bursting forth from within. On the smooth surface of the crystal ball, tiny cracks rapidly spread.

Alertness and premonition sounded like a sharp, ear-piercing siren, blaring loudly in Rhine's soul.

Don't look!

Looking any longer might lead to death!

Rhine quickly stopped pouring magic power into the crystal ball, letting the brilliant blue light slowly extinguish.

"It's the same situation as with the magic mirror; once it involves the founder of the Witch Society, there's a backlash."

The young man's forehead was already covered in sweat. His supernatural premonition told him that if he looked for a few more seconds, something terrible would happen.

"It can't be. I'm a famous Magician in several kingdoms on the Western Continent, yet when facing the founder of the Witch Society, I can't even glimpse her? Is the gap that wide? Or is this a characteristic of that Witch?"

This founder of the Witch Society is becoming even more mysterious...

Aurora recalled the scene and the text in the crystal ball just now, and excitedly said to Rhine:

"Teacher, there really is a way back to your previous world! You just need to find the founder of the Witch Society.

"Teacher, I will try my best to help you achieve your wish.

"Even if Black Witch Maleficent is killed in the future, I will accompany you to the ends of the Continent, find that mysterious founder of the Witch Society, and make her tell us where the gate connecting the two worlds is!"

Rhine also nodded.

He suddenly felt that he was different from the past.

On the journey ahead, he finally had a goal of his own.

Find that mysterious president of the Witch Society!

"Speaking of which, the Eastern Witch, one of the core members of the Witch Society, is currently near the White Kingdom, and she is also our target."

"If we can capture her, we should be able to get information about the president of the Witch Society from her!"

Rhine pondered.

He and Aurora stood up and walked towards the Queen in front of the full-length mirror.

At this time, Snow White had already left the room.

"Your Majesty the Queen, how much do you know about the founder and president of the Witch Society, the most mysterious Witch?"

Rhine asked.

The Queen shook her head:

"I know nothing. She seems not to exist. Like me, she doesn't care about the affairs of the Witch Society at all."

"Then, if we kill a member of the Witch Society, will she take revenge for that member?" Rhine asked again.

"No," the Queen said with certainty. "Long before I joined, the members of the Witch Society must have changed several times. That mysterious president doesn't care at all who died before."

That's good. Just as the Sea Hag's intelligence indicated, this nominal president doesn't really care much about the other members of the Witch Society... Rhine felt relieved.

"Oh, by the way, Your Majesty the Queen. I need to remind you." Rhine said, "The'Slaver' Witch who wanted to kill you before is still alive and should still be active near the White Kingdom, probably waiting to take your life."

"What!" The Queen remembered this, her face paling. "What should I do, Your Excellency Sage?"

The Queen recalled that on her way back, she had heard that the Eastern Witch had brutally tortured and killed a group of White Kingdom commoners.

She said angrily:

"I shouldn't have joined this Witch Society in the first place! I didn't get any benefits, and instead, they used my magic mirror for free. I really want to quit now."

Rhine said in a deep voice:

"Therefore, we need to devise a plan, prepare a trap specifically for the Eastern Witch—that is, the Witch codenamed'Slaver'—to lure her in. Capture or kill her!"

Hunting that powerful Witch?

The Queen felt a little incredible, but looking at the composed young wizard in front of her, she gained a lot of confidence.

"Alright, Your Excellency Rhine, tell us the plan. I, the magic mirror, and the White Kingdom will fully cooperate with you!"

Rhine slowly explained:

"First, in order to kill the Eastern Witch, my friend needs a sharp weapon. You should first ask the magic mirror where to find a suitable weapon for a Super Warrior..."

...

In the forest, in front of the Seven Dwarfs' wooden house.

Rhine and Aurora emerged from a burst of mist, knocked on the door, and entered.

"We meet again, little dwarf friends. I've brought what you wanted."

Rhine raised his hand, and a large bag appeared in his hand.

The bag was full of glittering, heavy gold, shining so brightly that it was dazzling.

This was all gold Rhine had exchanged from a neighboring country using deep-sea pearls!

"So much gold! So beautiful." x7

The little dwarfs cried out in excitement, scrambling over each other.

"We wouldn't dig this much gold in a lifetime of mining in the mountains!"

As dwarfs who loved mining and collecting gold in the mountains, they couldn't resist the temptation of so much gold.

"All of this can be yours," Rhine said, "In exchange, I heard you have a treasured sword hidden in your house that can cut iron like mud. Is this true?"

The little dwarfs looked at each other.

One of the little dwarfs slapped his forehead:

"It's the one in the basement."

They ran to the basement, rummaged through the clutter, found a treasured sword, and handed it to Rhine and Aurora.

It was truly a genuine, perfect treasured sword! Just looking at its sharp blade would make one believe they were injured.

"This is a treasured sword forged by our great-great-great-great-grandfather. At the time, it was said to be presented to a legendary foreign prince as a dragon-slaying weapon, but unfortunately, the prince who ordered the sword later died, so the treasured sword has been hidden in the basement ever since."

"Anyway, we don't use swords, so we'll give it to you."

The little dwarfs happily exchanged Rhine's gold for the treasured sword.

Aurora excitedly took the treasured sword and found it to be sharper and sturdier than any sword she had ever owned before.

To repay the dwarfs, Rhine whistled again.

Soon, a flock of birds flew into the house.

The birds cleverly used various tools, washing dishes, cleaning, arranging tables and chairs, doing all sorts of housework.

"From now on, these birds will obey your commands and can help you with housework," Rhine said.

The little dwarfs jumped for joy.

The two then bid farewell to the little dwarfs and left amidst their cheers.
