Master Marco grabbed Gleam's shoulder as he rushed in to report, incredulously asking aloud.
Gleam pushed his hand away, took a breath, and repeated, "To the east, at the border with the Mountains, everyone outside is talking about it now."
The wrench in Marco's hand clanged to the ground. His entire body swayed, only steadying himself by holding the edge of the workbench. "Weren't the relations between both sides pretty good? The Demon Crystal trade hadn't even stopped last month..." His voice trembled, his eyes full of puzzlement. "What does the Fungus Castle intend to do? Annex the Mountains?"
Gleam rolled his eyes upon hearing that, and Tolin, behind him, scratched his neck a bit awkwardly before saying, "Actually... according to the news released by the Department of Truth, it was us Dwarves who initiated the attack..."
"Hmm?" Marco hesitated for a moment, then waved a hand, "Impossible!"
