She tilted her head slightly, Purple eyes filled with disbelief.
"Military exercises… in the middle of a city… that sounds weird."
Beside her, Shirakawa Shiroha did not respond immediately.
Instead, her expression turned serious.
Very unlike her earlier relaxed mood.
Her fingers gently tightened against the hem of her skirt.
"Military exercises…" she murmured softly.
Her gaze drifted into the distance where the police were quickly evacuating the peoples....
No… this feels wrong.
The sudden announcement of a "military exercise" felt too abrupt.....
An excuse?
Her instincts, sharpened from past encounters with supernatural incidents, began to warn her.
'I'm afraid… another monster is about to appear here'
Her mind suddenly flashed back to earlier scene.
To the words spoken by Gojo Satoru before leaving— "I'll go meet an old friend."
Old friend…huh....
Shiroha slowly exhaled as her expression turn complicated.
Gojo-sensei… you knew something was going to happen, didn't you?

Meanwhile—
The crowd around them began moving restlessly.
Police officers continued shouting through loudspeakers.
"Please evacuate five kilometers away! This is an emergency military exercise!"
"Move quickly! Do not stay in this area!"
People murmured. Complained. Panicked.
Some reluctantly began walking away as the police continue to pressure them.
Others stayed, complaining loudly at the absurdity pf the situation.
And just as Marin and Shiroha were about to move with the crowd—
BOOOOOOM—!!!
A massive pillar of fire suddenly erupted into the sky in a distance.
A violent column of blazing flames shot upward like a volcanic eruption.
"—!!!"
Heat exploded outward.
The surrounding temperature surged instantly.
What had been warm weather moments ago suddenly turned into scorching summer heat.
Hot wind blasted across the street.
Clothes fluttered violently.
Hair whipped wildly in the air.
Many people's had to closed there eyes due to the intensity of the wind.
"Quick! Evacuate!!!"
The moment they saw the pillar of fire, the police officers screamed urgently, more loudly then before as their expression turn pale.
Their calm discipline completely vanished due to the incident.
They could control the situation anymore as panic spread like wildfire.
"Hiiii—!"
People screamed.
The once-organized (and rowdy) crowd instantly turned chaotic.
They ass began to running in a desperate manner. Shouting.
Not carrying about anything that may be in their way.
Everyone rushed forward in blind panic.
As for Shirakawa Shiroha and Kitagawa Marin, they quickly stepped aside, retreating toward the edge of the road, distancing themselves from the crowd.
After all—
This crowd had turned into a herd of wild cattle.
Mad.
Uncontrollable.
They only cared about running forward.
Ignoring anyone in their path.
If someone fell now—
It would become a deadly stampede.
Fortunately, many others also retreated to the sides, avoiding the dangerous center of the chaos.
Of course, their were some who were curious....
Curiosity overtaking there fear as they stopped to watch what was going on.
Their gazes locked onto the distant pillar of fire.
"Military exercise? You really believe that? That's definitely a supernatural event!" Someone said, excitement could be sense from the person's voice.
"It's so hot… do you feel that? The temperature suddenly jumped!"
"Look! The pillar of fire—it's shrinking!"
"Does anyone want to form a team to go check it out?" One enthusiastic person said as they turn there head to look for a companion.
"I think you're forming a team to die."
Strangers who had never met before began talking rapidly.
Fear had strangely created connections among them.
Suddenly—
Marin who was at the edge of the road froze, her expression stiffened, pupils shrank as if she had just remember an important detail.
"I remember…" she whispered in a trembling manner, her voice shaking, fear and horror visible in her eyes. Her lips parted slowly. "That direction is where Gojo-sensei went…"
"No… I have to go." She couldn't control herself as desperation filled her heart.
Without hesitation—
She ran!
Ran straight toward the place where the pillar of fire had appeared not carrying about the people who were running opposite to her.
"MARIN!"
Shiroha called out instinctively, loudly.
But Marin didn't stop, continuing to ran towards her own dead.
Seeing Marin's figure quickly disappearing into the distance—Shiroha gritted her teeth in anxiety and fear.
"Damn it…"
Without further thought—
She too ran after her.

Meanwhile…
Inside the restricted area.
Most civilians had already been evacuated.
Only a few figures remained.
Standing in the center of the scorched battlefield—
Seigen Amawaka adjusted his suit calmly as he clean the dust off the suit, secretly looking at his daughter who was wearing a scared expression. His sharp eyes focused forward.
"So…" he said flatly, with contain anger. "What are we supposed to do now… brat?"
His gaze locked onto the figure ahead, who still had his neck clenched in Gojo's hand.
Not a human.
Not entirely.
A curse.
Jogo!
The volcano-headed curse stood their in silent, flames bursting violently from his head and shoulders as their could be seen a deep burn marks on his body as if he had burned himself by his own fire.
Although his face remained furious, angry—
Inside—He was panicking!
Terrified. Completely terrified.
Facing Gojo Satoru had shattered whatever confidence he had earlier on himself.
And now—He was trapped. Like a bug inside a net only to be kept as a decorations or be killed!
"Hey." Gojo Satoru scratched his head lazily. "Show some respect when talking, Seigen."
His tone carried playful dissatisfaction, while inwardly he was analysing his new technique.
The technique that he had used earlier was "Cursed Technique Lapse: Stagnant Cage" (Jutsushiki Junten: Teitai Ori).
A new technique that he created, it wasn't really that complicated....just like how Gojo can used Limitless to protect other he can also used it to trap someone.
Teitai Ori let him manipulates imaginary mass to generate a gravitational singularity or thin layer, compressing space around the target so he/she can't move or even budge. It's limitations were that he would have to touchthe target and it take curse energy each second which is not that much of problem because of the massive cursed energy that Gojo have.
The fight with Satan was a nasty eye opener, even though he tried to be casual about it and was able to defeat him—That was mainly because he was using a borrowed body, limiting his power immensely. That is why, even though Gojo get stronger with each passing day or 24 hours through Eternal Zenith (Eikyō Chōten), he still need to increase the amount of moves in his arsenal.
This technique were just the beginning, and from the look of it this technique is still not good enough. If it was, Jogo wouldn't have been able to burst a large amount fire from his inside, trying to free himself. Breaking the thin layer around him.
Yes, the space that he can create to trap the target is still very thin and weak. He will also has to increase the focus and fine-tune it with his Six Eyes so that it can avoid friendly fire or self-harm like this time.
Well, he was able to protect Seigen, Mayura and the crowd before evaluating them and just a second after Joga had broken through he had added another trapping him again, so it didn't really matter.
This time, he had open a "kind of gate" on the cage so even if he try to release the fire, it would just be released upward without breaking the cage and harming anyone well except for some bird that may be turn into KFC unfortunately.
He will just have to test and improve this technique in his free time.
No big deal....
Gojo continue to keep his playful expression, hidding his inner thought as his voice shifted into exaggerated politeness.
"This is my beloved relative—my dear brother—my dear brother with some unknown mother~… so of course…"
He paused. A grin spread across his face which only made the person around him want to punch him!
Well, except for Mayura.
"You'll have to handle it~~ I can't really beat my brother can I~?."
Silence fell in the area except from the burning sound of Jogo's skin.
"..."
Seigen stared at him blankly. The corner of his mouth twitched.
He want to punch that annoying face!
The silent glare between the two men felt heavier than the heat itself as even Jogo was dumbfounded....
"You…" Seigen muttered, before sighing with some hidden emotions, "I don't even want to argue with you anymore."
He waved his hand dismissively, as he continue in a firm voice, "Hurry up and send Mayura back first."
Mayura Otomi, who stood nearby, looked scared and nervous, her hands clenched lightly as if to represent her inner frustration.
Gojo smiled gently as he immediately agree, "Come on, Mayra."
He extended his hand casually. "I'll send you somewhere safe. Oh and It doesn't matter if this guy(Jogo) gets killed or crippled~"
Seigen's forehead twitched violently as he asked, amused, "Didn't you just call him your brother?!"
Gojo only grinned. Shrugged.
Seigen sighed deeply, he doesn't even to complain about his bad joke. "Just go already."
Gojo chuckled lightly.
Moments earlier, he had been casually holding Jogo by the neck.
Now, He released him while also freeing him from the cage.
The instant Gojo let go,
Jogo felt it, he could move again!
Freedom.
His legs kicked off the ground violently.
BOOM—!
He leapt onto a nearby building, concrete shattered beneath his landing as he immediately distant himself from the monster.
"Gojo Satoru!" Jogo roared with barely any hidden anger. "I was unlucky this time! Next time—"
He paused, his body twitching uncontrollable as he imagine himself being in the same situation again! Helpless, powerless. His voice faltered slightly as fear filled his giant eyes.
"No… there won't be a next time."
From the very moment he was in that situation—He had already lost the will to fight. Fear had already taken root in his soul that refused to go!
Gojo chuckle as he clean his hand with handkerchief, before he shoved his hands into his pockets. His expression bored as he feel a slight deja vu because of Jogo's expression.
"Run?", He waved dismissively. "Go ahead."
That indifferent expression— Like watching an ant crawl away.
Jogo's anger flared but he didn't move forward, controlling himself as he jumped again.
BOOM—!
The area beneath his feet collapsed into ruins with the fire emerging from it. His body shot into the air like a blazing meteor trying to go as far away from here as possible.
However—
Just as he reached a certain height—
BOOM—!!!
He seem to have slammed against an invisible wall, as dark purple blood began to flow from his face and mouth.
Seigen wasn't surprised at all.
"I knew it…" He muttered calmly.
While Jogo earlier blast might have been able to destroy the Curtain that Gojo had place earlier.
Resulting in the peoples outside the barrier seeing what had happened. Gojo had again set up the barrier after release Jogo without anyone knowing.
Even Seigen didn't know that. He had just confirm his guess after seeing releasing the monster so easily. Gojo was carefree, annoying and very frustrating person to stay with but he wasn't careless.
He wouldn't let a monster run away without any reason!
{T/N: you don't know that unreasonable guy! }
That strange barrier that is a type of special enchantment created by Gojo was very unique.
From outside— Everything looked normal.
But anyone inside—If hostile the target would be trapped inside without being able to run away.
Like insects inside glass.
Jogo was able to break it earlier because of two main reason — Gojo hadn't used the curtain at full power or he didn't intent to do so because their were still some people inside the curtain if he used it at full power, they wouldn't have been able to leave, the curtain trapped someone with hostile intention it's doesn't matter who or for whom that intention were!
Second reason, being Gojo was focus on analysing his new Technique while he had created this move he hadn't used it on anyone yet. So, it was still at a earlier stage so his full focus on finding error on this technique which he found.
And this time Gojo had used the Curtain at full power, Jogo wouldn't be able to run from the inside.
Gojo extended his hand again towards Mayura.
"Let's go, Mayura."
Mayura nodded as she gently placed her soft hand into his palm.
Gojo silently activate his technique.
[Limitless — Teleportation.]
Space twisted.
Air distorted.
And in the next instant—
They vanished with a whoosh.
Gone...
Only Seigen remained in the silent place with the injured curse in front of him.
Standing alone.
Jogo stood up again as he clean the purple bloods from his face with his hand.
Flames erupted violently from his head and shoulders as rage burned in his eyes.
"YOU TRICKED ME!" His voice trembled with fury, screaming,
He feels like a dumb monkey as he remembered Gojo's careless tone.
"Run? Go ahead."
He clenched his fists tightly in anger as purple blood flow lightly by the self-harm.
"If I can't beat him…" His burning gaze locked onto Seigen, his eye turning run, heated with anger. "Then I'll beat you instead."
Seigen too slowly stepped forward.

[Core Techniques]
i). Infinity: Neutral Limitless application; slows incoming attacks infinitely via converging space. Creating a thin infinite layer of space between Gojo and the target.
ii). Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue: Attracts matter into a vacuum, creating black hole-like pull for homing destruction.
iii). Limitless— Teleportation: By using this technique, he is able to teleport anywhere as long he has mark that areas space.{The name in the earlier chapters may be different or same as I add new things as I go, I shouldn't have changed it too much tho...I think}
iii). Cursed Technique Reversal: Red: Repels with explosive force using positive energy from RCT (Reverse Cursed Technique).
iv). Hollow Technique: Purplish: Merges Blue and Red to "delete" matter in a straight line, erasing anything touched.
v). Reverse Cursed Technique: Converts negative energy positive for self-healing, even brain tissue or depleted reserves.

vi).Unlimited Void: Domain Expansion floods targets with infinite information, paralyzing thought and action. And since the information gain is considered as positive , until now (in this book) no one is able to survive this Domain. And the auto protect or protection is unable to block it.
vii). Falling Blossom Emotion: Anti-domain shroud counters sure-hit effects from enemy domains.
viii). Simple Domain: Neutralizes domain barriers; Gojo uses for brief evasion (only when he was in JJK world, after coming to this world he had not used it, yet.)
[New Technique]
ix). Eternal Zenith (Eikyō Chōten): This technique is unique to Gojo {it's a type of a perk that he get after being able to handle forced teleportation, and yes if he wasn't able to he would have died}. It's due to a Cursed Heart that was created unconsciously inside his soul {like black heart from solo leveling but more op}. It fused the already available cursed energy inside him with the spiritual energy in the surrounding {that he inhale}, to create more cursed energy and the 24 hours time is for his body to adapt to the changes in his energy pool, and if the cursed energy is more that his already large energy pool can handle {the cursed heart}, then the cursed heart pumped it like blood that first flows in his soul before going inside his body, making him stronger. And it will continue as long as their are spiritual energy in the surrounding or his body is unable to handle it forcing it to burst inside him. Killing him.
x).Veil of Nothingness: A thin layer of invisible veil or net like layer {like the Heaven Path Immortal Gu — Heavenly Web Protection Veil from Reverend Insanity}, It is created by using RCT (Reversed Cursed Energy) and Limitless to create a veil that covered his whole body — it's useful at stopping the cursed energy from getting release without his permission and also to hide his energy level (he rarely used it for this though).
xi). Cursed Technique Lapse: Stagnant Cage (Jutsushiki Junten: Teitai Ori): A thin layer of space that he used to covered his enemy instead on himself, before he fixed the space around them—trapping them before turning the space into solid. The layer is very thin {for now} that is why excessive force is able to break it (just like what Jogo did, but he wasn't able to escape because Gojo was also able to quickly used it again, so the time that take to used it is very less but it do take a massive amount of cused energy due and the stronger the target is the more cursed energy it will take). He can either trap the whole target inside it {like a frozen structure} or he can create small or big gate on the cage to let the target speak or minimize the energy out, reducing the strees on the cage as a whole.
