Each cold metallic emblem bore the academy's insignia—a black dragon's head with the number '1' engraved as its center—and was meant to be worn at all times.
Leo immediately felt a sharp glare boring into his back.
He ignored it completely.
"Lily, let's head to the Aurelius Hall and see what this is all about," he said calmly.
"Mhm!" Lily replied enthusiastically, nearly bouncing on her heels.
She then turned toward Miho and asked.
"Miho, what's your rank?"
"M-my rank is 994… with 15,674 points…" Miho answered softly.
The moment Leo heard that, his expression turned thoughtful.
"So that means more than nine hundred admitted students have scored above fifteen thousand," he muttered. "The highest score in previous trials barely touched twenty thousand… Wow. This year's batch is tough."
Lily nodded in agreement.
