Melody Thorne's gaze fell on the blood covering the two people, from their faces to their bodies, everywhere; their clothes looked like they had been torn and clawed.
With a loud "boom," a fire ignited inside the tunnel, and the two doors slammed shut.
"Ugh," Melody's stomach churned, her face pale.
"Quick, quick, get them to the hospital," Leon Rivers and Harold Chapman rushed forward simultaneously.
Hospital, hallway.
Melody Thorne looked sorrowfully at the man on the hospital bed. He was wearing a hospital gown, his handsome face ashen, his lips blackened. The doctor didn't tell her what exactly they had been through inside, only reassuring her that their lives weren't at risk and there were no fatal wounds.
"Melody," Kiki Sutton stood in the hallway.
Melody walked over and closed the door to the ward.
