Jared Quinn grunted, "Be good, I'll explain when we get back, call Dr. Mo."
Melody Thorne choked up while making the call, and when she turned back, Jared had already fainted.
Dr. Mo treated Jared's wound, it was a bullet, it was lucky he held out this long.
When Jared woke up, Melody Thorne had changed her clothes, her eyes were red and swollen.
"Don't cry anymore, it was my fault, it won't happen again, okay?" Jared softly consoled her, "This time was an accident."
According to their plan, all three of them should have gotten out unscathed.
"You've lost your credibility," Melody Thorne slapped away his hand with a cold expression.
"Sir, you had an episode, luckily your wife found you, otherwise it would have been trouble," Dr. Mo interjected.
Jared's dark eyes suddenly sank, his large hand pulled Melody Thorne closer, clearly seeing the purple marks on her neck, obviously forcefully.
"I'm fine," Melody Thorne covered her neck with both hands.
