"Girl, there's no need to comfort me. I know what I'm feeling!" Summer Shawcross had just finished speaking when Noah Drexler's voice came through.
She turned her head and saw the bitter smile on his face.
Seeing the old man in such a self-destructive state, Summer couldn't help but feel a bit of sympathy.
She stood there, pondering for a while before she couldn't help but ask Noah.
"What if I can find evidence that she loves you?" She didn't know where her confidence came from, but her sixth sense told her... that Noah's mother had feelings for him even if it might have faded later on. She must have loved him at some point!
After hearing her words, Noah's smile seemed as if he had just heard a joke.
However, he was at a loss for words, unsure of how to respond to her.
"If I can prove that Mrs. Drexler has feelings for you, consider the debt for saving me repaid!" Summer bit her lip and continued.
Looking at her earnest expression, Noah couldn't bring himself to refuse her.
