Noah Drexler's eyes flickered, and he suddenly turned around, lowered his head, and whispered in her ear.
"Wait for me outside." The deep tone carried a hint of deliberately softened intent.
Hearing Noah say this, Summer Shawcross couldn't help but glance at Mr. Drexler, then sighed.
"Alright." She nodded, then slowly turned around and walked out of the bedroom.
Only after Summer left and the door was closed again did Noah's gaze lock tightly onto Mr. Drexler's eyes.
"Speak."
Mr. Drexler stared at Noah for a moment, then slowly began to speak, with eyes full of weariness.
"There is no antidote in this world." A trace of helplessness appeared on his face.
At that moment, he suddenly felt immense regret for having created such a poison.
Thinking of that girl being poisoned, he suddenly felt a flood of guilt, impossible to cleanse.
He had never hated himself as much as he did in that moment!
