Nathan Foster didn't rush to enter the door. He took out his phone and called Vincent.
Vincent answered and was still annoyed by being woken up.
"Dad, dear dad… I'll call you dad, okay? Can we not disturb people's dreams in the middle of the night?"
Vincent was on the verge of tears. In his life, what he feared most was someone calling him at midnight, so his phone was always on silent.
But ever since Vincent started treating South Grant, Nathan made him set his phone to a special ringtone, just in case he couldn't hear it.
"I don't have a rebellious son like you." Nathan retorted unceremoniously.
"Damn!" Vincent cursed angrily, then sat up from the bed, saying irritably, "Is it that androgynous girl causing trouble again?"
Only South Grant could make Nathan call him in the middle of the night; no one else had that privilege.
