Jiang Tao kicked Zhang San in the mouth, prompting a scream like a pig being slaughtered.
"That's what you get for talking too much."
Jiang Tao was unfazed by Zhang San's threats and had no intention of letting him go just like that.
"Cough cough, Jiang Tao, what's... the situation here?"
Ji Wei walked up to Jiang Tao and stopped, looking extremely tense as he glanced from him to Zhang San, who was tied up on the ground.
"This kid is a fugitive, and I happened to get a tip-off that he was in your neighborhood, so I came by to try my luck, and I guess I got lucky."
"I just happened to come across him as he was coming out of the building, so I took him down on the spot."
"That's all there is to it."
Jiang Tao explained calmly, leaving Ji Wei in a daze.
Ji Wei was surprised: "A fugitive? He's actually a fugitive? What crime did he commit to be wanted?"
"Murdered people, wiped out entire families."
