The other party involved in the fight at the gate of Lake View No.1 had also been notified and six of them had arrived. The police station officers were taking their statements, among whom several had prior records.
The person in charge of taking their statements was named Tian Kaiqiang. Xu Chunliang briefly explained what happened, thinking the police station was making a mountain out of a molehill since both parties had already reached an agreement.
Tian Kaiqiang said, "The agreement you reached earlier was regarding the traffic violation, this is about something else."
Wu Fajun said, "They came over with more than a dozen people to fight us, we couldn't just stand by and do nothing, plus there were no injuries, it doesn't constitute a criminal case."
