The Wano Country of today was finally changing. Eight hundred years ago, Wano was a massive nation that sat securely on a high island, positioned far above the natural sea level. This extreme elevation, combined with the treacherous geography, was exactly why the surrounding seas had remained so deadly for centuries. The waters were fiercely guarded by hidden reefs, violent whirlpools, and chaotic currents that destroyed countless ships. But now, with the protective barrier around the country completely destroyed, the true face of the ancient Wano Country revealed itself to the world.
The sea level in the surrounding waters began to plummet rapidly, draining away like water escaping a broken basin. At the center of this geographical upheaval sat the colossal, original Wano Country from the Void Century. The six modern islands now acted as nothing more than temporary land bridges. They spanned the immense, terrifying chasm where millions of gallons of seawater violently poured down into the dark depths below. The sheer visual scale was staggering. It looked eerily similar to Enies Lobby, the World Government's judicial island located in the first half of the Grand Line, but on a vastly larger scale. As time passed, the roaring waterfalls stabilized into a steady, continuous flow. The surrounding sea, having emptied its excess water, finally returned to a calm state.
Even the hardened veterans of the Beasts Pirates stared in absolute disbelief at the colossal, ancient nation towering just behind them. They could hardly process the history standing before their eyes. The Marine soldiers held captive nearby were equally paralyzed by shock and terror.
Chief of Staff Tsuru, however, remained completely focused. As a seasoned Marine veteran, she ignored the majestic scenery and locked her eyes on the Emperor of the Sea.
"Where is the Ancient Weapon, Pluton?" Tsuru demanded.
Everyone's gaze immediately turned toward the massive pirate. Kaido did not bother to hide the truth. He laughed, a deep, rumbling sound that echoed across the stone courtyard.
"It's right beneath our feet, deep under this enormous chasm. Do you even know what this place truly is? According to the ancient Poneglyphs, the original creators of our world built everything right here. They drew immense energy from this very land to create all life in this world. Because of that massive energy drain, a colossal Underworld exists directly beneath us. When Joy Boy was ultimately defeated eight hundred years ago, he hid Pluton down there in the dark. Do you remember what that old fool Vegapunk once theorized? That our entire world would eventually sink beneath the sea?"
The captured Marines gasped in horror. Tsuru's eyes widened as the realization finally hit her.
"This is the ultimate contingency that Joy Boy left behind," Kaido continued, his voice booming over the whistling wind. "When Wano opens its borders and these rock walls are completely destroyed, the passage to the Underworld opens up. The seawater pours in, drastically lowering the global sea level. All the flooding crises our world currently faces are instantly resolved. And once that Underworld fills with enough water, Pluton will rise to the surface. With the overwhelming power of that Ancient Weapon, the Red Line can finally be destroyed. This divided sea will become one single, unified ocean."
The Marine personnel exchanged terrified, awe-struck glances. Despite their allegiance to the World Government, they could not help but sigh in genuine admiration at the sheer scale of the legendary Joy Boy's master plan from eight centuries ago.
Tsuru narrowed her sharp eyes. "So, will you carry out his will, Kaido? Or are you just preparing to use this weapon to rule the sea, exactly like the World Government has done for centuries?"
Kaido completely ignored her question. He turned his imposing, muscular figure toward the distant horizon.
"You'll find out very soon. Now, the battlefield is finally ready. Navy Hero Garp, it seems your grandson has arrived. Our supposed savior, the Sun God Nika, is here to rescue you!"
Countdown: 00:25!
Only twenty-five minutes remained until the executions.
A fierce gale swept across the transformed waters of Wano Country. One after another, heavily armed pirate ships crashed through the rising waves, appearing on the coastline in a massive formation.
"Have they finally arrived?" a pirate muttered, gripping his rifle.
The Beasts Pirates were already in position. Their massive fleet spread out across the waters surrounding the six bridge-like islands that spanned the great chasm. Thousands of armed warriors stood ready on the decks, waiting for the order to attack. Back in the Flower Capital, a towering execution platform cast a long shadow over the central plaza.
"Bring them up!" Kaido roared.
Three high-profile prisoners were slowly dragged forward by the guards.
The first was Figarland Garling Saint, the former Supreme Commander of the God's Knights and the father of Red-Haired Shanks. After Kaido successfully defeated the World King, Imu, almost all the God's Knights perished instantly. Since their immense power and life force were provided directly by Imu, just like the Gorosei, they fell the moment the king fell. Only Garling and his son, Figarland Shamrock, survived the purge because they had never consumed a Devil Fruit.
The second prisoner was Kozuki Momonosuke. He was the sole male heir of the Kozuki Clan, pulled directly from twenty years in the past. When the Nine Red Scabbards originally left to help the Straw Hat Pirates rescue Luffy, Kaido anticipated their moves. He had ordered Blueno to use his door powers to kidnap the brat right off the back of the giant elephant, Zunesha, in Zou. Since those stubborn samurai chose to oppose him yet again, Kaido showed absolutely no mercy. Tied securely to the heavy wooden stake, Momonosuke sobbed uncontrollably, completely terrified out of his wits.
The third captive was none other than the legendary Marine Hero himself, Monkey D. Garp.
Behind these three prisoners stood the three strongest fighters of the pirate alliance: Kaido, Big Mom, and King. Further ahead, leading the vanguard of the Beasts Pirates, stood Jack the Drought and the thunder god, Eneru.
The Beasts Pirates glared aggressively at the approaching armada. In response, the warriors of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet stared right back. As the allied ships drew closer to the shore, the figures standing at the bows of the lead ships finally spotted the execution platform.
Luffy, Ace, and the Nine Red Scabbards gripped their weapons tightly, their eyes blazing with pure, unadulterated fury.
"Grandpa, hold on! We're coming to save you right now!" Luffy screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Old man, it's my turn to pull you out of the fire this time!" Ace yelled, intense flames flickering angrily around his shoulders.
"Kaido! Release Momonosuke-sama immediately! It's time to finally settle the score for Oden-sama!" Kin'emon roared, drawing his sharp blades.
Their angry shouts of impotent rage echoed loudly across the open ocean.
From the deck of another ship, Red-Haired Shanks stared toward the platform. He clearly saw his father, Garling, chained to the wood. Yet, Shanks's expression remained completely blank. He looked at the old man as if he were a total stranger, showing absolutely no recognition or warmth.
Watching the mounting despair from the execution platform, Kaido grinned wickedly.
"Jack, go out there and give our guests a proper welcome!" Kaido ordered.
"Right away!" Jack grunted. His pupils suddenly widened, his eyes filling with a chaotic, sadistic excitement.
He stomped forward, the wooden planks groaning heavily under his immense weight. The thick veins on his muscular arms bulged violently. As he pulled his heavy fist back, a blinding white sphere of pure, highly concentrated energy formed directly around his knuckles.
On the allied ships, the members of the Whitebeard Pirates gasped in absolute horror at the familiar sight.
"No... that's impossible! That's the Old Man's power! What is going on here? Didn't Teach steal Pops's Devil Fruit? How does Jack have it?" a pirate cried out in shock.
The intense shock rippled through the entire fleet. Even former Warlords like Crocodile, who had recently clashed with Blackbeard, were stunned into silence. Crocodile had seen the raw, destructive power of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit with his own eyes before Blackbeard hastily fled their battle. Seeing that exact same devastating Paramecia power now wielded by Jack the Drought of the Beasts Pirates made no logical sense to them.
Due to Wano's strict geographical isolation, reliable information rarely entered or left the country. Combined with the chaotic state of the treacherous seas and the World Government's deliberate censorship, the world remained entirely ignorant of the Beasts Pirates' recent acquisitions.
Jack completely ignored their confusion. He threw a devastating punch straight into the empty air.
"Elephant Punch!"
Using the Eight Impact Fist technique—a powerful martial art the Beasts Pirates had violently stolen from the Happo Navy—Jack channeled the Tremor-Tremor Fruit's immense power. The glowing white sphere shattered the air like fragile glass. A massive, destructive shockwave blasted across the ocean, heading straight for the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. The sheer force of the tremor instantly and violently split the sea in two.
Panic washed over the allied crews as they watched the powerful tremor approaching. If that massive shockwave hit them, the battle would be over before it even began. Their entire fleet would instantly fall apart and sink to the bottom of the ocean.
But just before the tremor could strike the lead ships, two absolute giants stepped confidently to the front of the formation. They stood as tall and unyielding as towering mountains.
"Stand back, little ones! Leave this to us! We haven't properly stretched our limbs in over a hundred years. Now it's time for this sea to remember the true terror of the Giant Warrior Pirates!" Dorry laughed heartily, easily raising his massive, heavy sword alongside Brogy, who gripped his colossal axe with both hands.
The two legendary warriors from Elbaf took their fighting stances. Swinging their colossal weapons together in perfect harmony, they unleashed the strongest, most devastating attack known to the giant race.
"Elbaf Spear of the Giant—Hakai!"
