"The Ancient Giant Race!"
The term was new to Kaido. Even with his knowledge of the world's history, this specific classification hadn't surfaced in his mind before. He wondered if he was witnessing the uncovering of a secret setting long buried by the world.
"That's right," Queen confirmed, his voice echoing in the ancient shrine. "Actually, Big Brother, it isn't just you. Ulti and Page One carry that blood in their veins as well. The most obvious proof is the set of horns growing from your heads." Queen paused for a moment, glancing toward the shadows before adding, "Young Master Yamato has it too. This is exactly why Ulti, Page One, and Yamato possess such terrifying physical power despite their young ages."
Kaido didn't seem bothered by the revelation. Instead, he looked at the siblings, who were practically vibrating with excitement. "Now that you mention it," Kaido mused, "I remember that Ulti and Page One's father had horns just like mine."
"I knew it!" Ulti shouted, her face lighting up. "My father and I are connected by blood, and this is the proof I needed!" Page One, however, just stared blankly, trying to process the fact that the horns on his head were more than just a family trait—they were a mark of an ancient, powerful lineage.
Sasaki, who had been listening intently, felt a twinge of competitive spirit. "What about us Fishmen?" he asked, his voice tinged with a bit of envy. "Is there some kind of 'Ancient Fishman' tribe we belong to?"
Queen let out a short, mocking chuckle. "Of course there is! And while the Ancient Giant Race is nearly extinct, the 'Ancient Fishman' tribe is actually everywhere you look."
"What!" Sasaki exclaimed, leaning forward.
Who's-Who caught on faster and let out a light laugh. "Queen, you're talking about the Sea Kings, aren't you?"
"Hehehe! Spot on! It's the Sea Kings!" Queen barked.
Sasaki's excitement vanished instantly, and he slumped his shoulders. "Damn it. I can't exactly turn into a Sea King, especially now that I'm a Devil Fruit user." Then, an idea occurred to him. "Wait, Queen, you're a genius. Is there any way you can make me immune to seawater? If I didn't have to fear the ocean, I could unleash several times the power I have now. A Fishman with Devil Fruit powers who can still swim... I'd be unstoppable."
The room went quiet. The idea that a Devil Fruit user could overcome their weakness to the sea was a concept that went against the very laws of their world.
"You certainly have high expectations, Sasaki," Queen said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "I can certainly look into it, but I can't promise anything. Even for a scientist like me, Devil Fruits are still full of unsolved mysteries." Queen suddenly looked around the room. "By the way, where are Jack and Enel?"
"We got word that Wapol appeared in Paradise," Who's-Who answered. "Big Brother Kaido sent Jack straight there from Fish-Man Island, and Enel went to provide backup."
"I see," Queen nodded. Then, his face twisted into a lewd, teasing grin as he looked back at Sasaki. "Hey, Sasaki, tell me about that Fishman woman, Shyarly. Is she really as incredible as Kaido-Big Brother said she was?"
The tension in the shrine vanished, replaced by a much lighter atmosphere. Sasaki glanced at Kaido and, seeing him laughing heartily, relaxed into a grin. "Man, Big Brother's taste is top-tier! That woman captivated me the moment I saw her. Even Jack couldn't take his eyes off her."
"Hehehe! Really? Even that kid Jack was hooked?" Queen laughed.
"It's not just about her looks," Sasaki explained. "It's her presence. When she arrives at Wano, you'll see exactly what I mean."
"Is that so? Then I really am looking forward to it," Queen said.
Kaido watched his officers with a sense of pride. "Seeing you all finding partners makes me happy. Sasaki, Who's-Who, do you two have women you're interested in? If you do, we can hold one massive wedding together! I'm already planning a grand ceremony with Maria as compensation for everything. We can make it a celebration the Beasts Pirates will never forget!"
Both Who's-Who and Sasaki were deeply moved. Sharing a wedding day with Kaido was an honor beyond words.
Sasaki scratched his head awkwardly. "Well, there is a woman I like—one of the former Oniwabanshu members, the one they call Hell's Transformation. But seeing King and Jack marrying such formidable women with powerful bloodlines... I kind of want to find someone like that too." He threw his pride aside and looked at Kaido sheepishly. "Um, Big Brother... could you maybe introduce me to someone like that?"
Kaido leaned back, thinking hard. He ran through his memories of the world's most powerful and unique women, but no one immediately came to mind. Then, his eyes fell on Pudding, and a lightbulb went off.
He didn't answer Sasaki right away. Instead, he turned to Who's-Who. "What about you, Who's-Who? Do you want me to find someone for you too?"
Who's-Who looked a bit embarrassed. He knew that if he married an ordinary woman, his future children would never be able to compete with the descendants of the other All-Stars. "If you have someone suitable in mind, Big Brother, I'm open to it!"
"Worororo! Then we can make this work," Kaido laughed. "If you're looking for the rarest bloodlines in the world, there is one place that is perfect. The only question is whether you're brave enough to handle it."
The two officers blinked in confusion. "Who are you talking about, Big Brother?"
Kaido's grin widened as he dropped the bombshell. "It's simple. You should marry Linlin's daughters!"
"What!" Both men nearly jumped out of their skins. Their first instinct was to scream "no." Everyone knew Big Mom's children were as monstrous as she was. The idea of being married to a high-ranking member of the BIG MOM Pirates was terrifying.
"Don't be so quick to say no," Kaido said, holding up a hand. "Think about the benefits. First, Linlin has spent her whole life collecting the world's rarest races. Her children carry those special bloodlines. Plus, they inherited a piece of her 'iron balloon' physical toughness. You've seen how much Pudding has grown lately; that's the power of Linlin's genetics at work."
The officers looked at Pudding and had to admit that her growth had been staggering. They began to hesitate.
"Second," Kaido continued, "some of Pudding's sisters are incredible beauties, easily as striking as anyone in Wano. And they are strong. If you marry them, you aren't just getting a wife—you're getting a powerful partner. Your children would be protected by two of the Four Emperors. It's an alliance that would make you untouchable."
Kaido leaned in with a final, booming laugh. "And finally, Worororo, have some confidence in yourselves! Look at how much you've grown training under me. In the current BIG MOM crew, I don't think anyone besides Katakuri can even stand against you. If your wives are assertive, so what? It just makes life more interesting!"
