Synopsis
Mia never wanted to stand out. She was just a poor scholarship girl trying to survive at Eclipse Prowess Institute, a school ruled by Lycans, Alphas, and wolves with power in their veins. She had no claws, no strength, no pack—only her mother and her will to endure. But everything changes the day the Lycan Prince looks at her. Leon. Cold, untouchable, the heir every girl worships. His wolf calls her mate. His lips whisper mine. And then… he rejects her. To him, she’s weak. Human. A risk that could ruin his throne. To his wolf, she’s everything. Now Mia is trapped in a world she doesn’t belong to—hunted by jealous rivals, targeted by rogues, and bound by a bond she doesn’t understand. Her beauty makes her a threat, her kindness makes her a target, and the strange mark on her shoulder hides a truth even she doesn’t know. Rachel, the prince’s jealous would-be Luna, will do anything to see Mia destroyed. Leon fights his own heart, torn between duty and desire. And Mia… she’s about to discover that being claimed by a Lycan Prince is only the beginning of her story. Because sometimes rejection is the first spark of destiny.

Chapter 1 - The Moon’s Pulse

The dawn came quietly, painting the world in pale silver.

Mia stood barefoot on the damp grass behind Rowan's cabin. The field stretched open, surrounded by tall pines that whispered softly in the breeze. Above them, the moon still lingered faintly in the fading night sky, refusing to disappear completely — like it was watching.

Her body still felt weak, but her mind was alert. Something inside her pulsed gently, like a heartbeat that didn't belong to her.

Rowan stood a few feet away, his long robe brushing against the grass. His expression was calm but unreadable. "You feel it, don't you?"

Mia hesitated. "Feel what?"

"The hum," he said. "The rhythm beneath your skin. That's the Moon's Pulse — your connection to the ancient current that flows through every chosen heir. It beats differently in everyone. Some hear it as music, others as a whisper. For you, it might be light."

She frowned slightly. "I just feel… heat. Like something wants to break out."
