Chapter 493 - V6 Chapter 67: A Room You Can't Leave Without Doing XX?

I had long known how heavy the workload of Gehenna's Prefect Team President Hina was, and how dedicated she was in carrying it out.

But from listening to the discussions of the other Prefect Team members, I gained an even deeper understanding...

Hina had hardly ever taken a break. Even when everyone worried and tried to force her to rest, she would somehow reappear at the academy a few hours later. No matter how much you emphasized it, she insisted she took about five minutes of proper rest each day…

Even with her extraordinary physical abilities, she still needed to rest.

Her endurance up to now was entirely thanks to her willpower, stubbornly pushing herself forward.

Her sense of responsibility earned both my admiration and my pity.

And precisely because of that, getting her to take a voluntary vacation was especially difficult.

"Just find a reason!" Ako said. "Find a reason the President can't refuse!"

I thought to myself, of course. Ako had called me over to use my irresistible charm, one even Hina couldn't resist.

For example, as bait, locking Hina and me in a room with a sign reading "You can't leave without XX"…

I could only say, my reputation was important, but if it was for Hina, I was willing to sacrifice myself a little.

"That may be true, but will it really work…?" Iori asked doubtfully.

Ako smiled confidently. "Of course! Leave it to me! We just got a request from Pandemonium Society a few days ago, they want us to submit this summer's [Summer Training Plan]."

Upon hearing this, Chinatsu and Iori exchanged uneasy looks and sighed in unison.

"Sigh… again?"

"Always causing trouble."

"Anyway, they don't really need the training plan…"

"Those guys just want to find tiny mistakes in the plan and make a fuss! Forcing us to go to ridiculous places! Like last year, being sent to the Shinom Volcano… I'd rather not remember that… Why did we have to go to such a hot place in the middle of summer…"

"But as the Prefect Team, we can't just ignore their requests… sigh."

I had reason to suspect that Makoto became Pandemonium Society's speaker, and earned her reputation there, precisely because she opposed Hina.

Hearing her companions' complaints, Ako nodded knowingly. "Exactly. That's why for this summer's training, I'd originally told the planning department we'd do some tactical exercises nearby to get it over with… but now the situation has changed. Let's use this to our advantage."

The administrator's plan was to use Pandemonium Society's fussing as an excuse to arrange the Prefect Team's summer camp.

In this way, Hina, who respected rules, naturally wouldn't refuse.

However, even if Hina agreed to an outing, the essence of the activity was still summer training, which didn't align with the goal of giving her rest.

"Hehe, this is simple," Ako said with a smirk. "This summer, we'll go to the seaside! Take the President and lock her up in the hotel!"

"You mean a room where she can't come out unless she rests properly!?"

I asked eagerly, only to get a side-eye from Ako.

"What are you talking about? That kind of thing only exists in manga. In reality, there's no room the President can't break out of. Even if you had materials that strong, the cost and time would be astronomical."

True, with Hina's mysterious strength and a gun always at hand, and her bullets comparable to high-yield explosives, such a room wasn't really necessary.

But it didn't have to be the room itself.

I thought for a moment and suggested a highly feasible plan. "Print out my photo and cover the walls, floor, and ceiling. Hina won't have the heart to destroy it."

Clearly, this would work on almost any normal Kivotos student, including the Gehenna Prefect Team President and everyone present.

Otherwise, why were they all silently staring at me with those strange looks?

They were probably imagining, if they were in that situation, could they become a rare exception, and coming to a shameful conclusion about themselves.

The three girls exchanged glances for a moment before Iori finally broke the silence.

"In any case, what does locking her up have to do with vacation?"

"Ah, ah… that's what we call a 'resting vacation,' a resting vacation."

"I've heard of that. It means relaxing in a hotel, right?"

"Exactly."

…Why ignore my suggestion? Shyness? Or jealousy?

As I pondered this, Ako continued outlining her grand plan.

First, use training as an excuse to bring Hina to the seaside. Once she's checked into the hotel, give her no work, ideally locking her in her room.

Once forced into idleness, Hina would naturally get sleepy. At the very least, she'd finally get a proper rest.

Chinatsu still looked concerned.

"I wonder if this plan will go smoothly with the President…"

Ako smiled slightly. "Hehe, exactly. That's why I called sensei here!"

I hesitated and tested the waters. "So you mean, instead of just a photo, it should be me personally keeping her company, right?"

The atmosphere grew awkward and tense.

"…Ah, seriously!" Ako suddenly lost her composure. "We're talking about serious matters! Can you be serious for once?"

Iori nodded. "Exactly. Usually you're already perverse enough, but today you're so narcissistic we don't even know what to say."

Even Chinatsu gently said. "Sensei, have you been working too hard lately? You should take a rest too."

I was just being objectively honest about myself!

"Alright, alright," I muttered to myself, not bothering with the three girls, whether openly or secretly infatuated with me. "So, what exactly should we do?"

Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Ako explained. "According to Schale's authority, sensei can suggest modifications to the Prefect Team's training plan. If sensei helps, we can move the training location to the seaside. And if necessary, we can impose restrictions on the President."

That wasn't much different from what I had suggested.

"So," Ako asked, "regarding President Hina, sensei wouldn't refuse, right?"

"Of course not," I answered immediately. "Especially since it's Ako's request."

"Hehe~ thank you, in any case."

Ako smiled, then composed herself. "Anyway, now that sensei has agreed to cooperate, the rest is to win over the President!"
