Clang! Splurt!
The sharpness of the six-star greatsword easily cut through Dottore's weapon, leaving a bloody wound across his chest in the process.
"This weapon…" Dottore was shocked. He could not block it at all. He had never seen such a sharp divine weapon before.
"Woohoo!"
Even Varka had not expected it. This greatsword's power was beyond imagination.
Compared to it, Wolf's Gravestone was simply a step weaker.
"Dottore, leave your dog head behind!" Varka grinned and swung down straight at Dottore's head.
If I don't chop you to death today, I'll resign as Grand Master on the spot.
Dottore kept dodging. The wounds struck by the greatsword healed very slowly. This weapon was downright uncanny.
He had still held the upper hand just now, but after Varka took the greatsword Koji gave him, the situation reversed instantly.
"Hm?"
Dottore wanted to open a passage and leave, only to discover that the surrounding space had become incomparably solid. His power could not break through it at all.
"Dottore, don't even think about running. With this many people here to see you off, you should be satisfied," Koji said. The power of space pulsed in his palm, completely sealing off this area.
Forget Dottore. Even if Asmoday, the Ruler of Space, came here, it would be very difficult for her to leave.
Splurt!
A single moment of distraction was fatal in battle. A chunk of Dottore's torso was directly chopped off by Varka.
Under that intense pain, the attacks from Arlecchino and the others all landed solidly as well. Dottore was instantly beaten until he was almost torn apart.
The more composed he had been before, the more miserable he looked now.
"Hah… hah…"
Blood flowed from Dottore's mouth. There was no fear in him, only unwillingness. He had still not achieved his final goal.
"Dottore, die!"
Diluc directly swung his sword and sent Dottore's head flying.
The hatred from back then was settled today. He had done what he had always wanted to do.
Arlecchino bit her lip. Diluc had beaten her to it.
Fine. She would just finish him off properly.
The special flames originating from the Crimson Moon bloodline burned Dottore's body until not even ashes remained. That bastard had destroyed all his segments, or else there would not have been this problem where there was not enough of him to go around.
Tsk, tsk, tsk…
Koji clicked his tongue. Arlecchino really did hate Dottore. She had directly ground that guy's bones and scattered his ashes.
Still, Dottore was dead. Dead for good.
With all the things Dottore had done, who knew how many wronged souls were desperately hoping for his death?
"Arlecchino, you burned him too fast," Rosalyne said, the corner of her mouth twitching. Didn't these people know they should leave some meat for the others? Even burning one piece each would have been fine.
She had wanted to whip Dottore's corpse with a flaming whip, but now she no longer had the chance.
"I'm so tired."
Sandrone, who had let her robot fight the entire time, stretched lazily. Koji and the others had no idea what she was tired from. She had clearly just stood there and had not fought with her own hands at all.
"I'm tired too. I used up almost all my divine power." Venti sat on the ground. Without good wine, he was not getting up.
"Venti, stop pretending," Paimon said with disdain.
His face was not red, and he was not even out of breath. No matter how anyone looked at him, he did not seem like he had exhausted his divine power. This guy was just an old schemer. She had never seen him use his full strength.
Venti smiled slyly. He had not used his full strength this time either. The divine power maintaining Mondstadt's climate had never been withdrawn. Just as Aether had once said, he had never truly worn his crown.
"Varka, can you return the weapon to me now?" Koji asked, holding out his hand.
"Ahem. Let's discuss this. I want to buy this greatsword," Varka said with a light cough, reluctant to part with it.
After using such a fine greatsword, other weapons no longer seemed as appealing.
"After using this weapon, how much Mora do you think you'd have to pay? Do you even have that much Mora on you?" Koji asked with a faint smile.
Varka thought for a moment, then said, "I can introduce Jean to you. She's a great beauty and still single. Sitting in the position of Acting Grand Master of the Knights, she should be easy to match with someone."
Koji suddenly felt that this Grand Master of the Knights was a complete clown.
Jean had just been sold off by him so casually.
"Venti, has the Grand Master spent too much time with you and caught your unreliable attitude?" Paimon could not help asking.
From Varka, Paimon saw a hint of Venti's temperament.
Jean was so pitiful. She had been sold off by the Grand Master of the Knights she respected.
Diluc shook his head. When he returned, he would have to tell Jean about this.
This Grand Master really left people speechless.
"Varka, aren't you afraid Jean will use Aquila Favonia to blow you away?" Koji asked.
"She probably won't, right?" Varka scratched his head. Jean probably would not do something like that. She was very rational.
"If you want it that badly, then just give me some Mora," Koji said.
To him, this greatsword was something he could mass-produce. It was not the only one. He would not use it even if he kept it. When he had nothing to do, he had forged six-star divine weapons of every weapon type.
"Good. I'll give it to you after I go back. I don't have it on me right now."
"Hey, I contributed the most here! Don't you people know you should thank me?" Venti complained.
"How about I treat you to wine?" Varka asked.
Venti rolled his eyes. "You still owe me wine from before. Pay back that bottle first."
Varka smiled while rubbing his head. That had indeed happened, but he had not returned to Mondstadt all this time, so he had never had the chance to pay him back.
"Pleasure working with you, Grand Master Varka," Arlecchino said.
"No need to be polite. But with Dottore, the second of the Harbingers, dying here, won't things explode on Snezhnaya's side?"
Varka looked at Arlecchino and the other Harbingers. This was a Harbinger with the combat power of a demon god.
"Capitano left this world, and Snezhnaya didn't fall into turmoil. Dottore won't cause it either. He already finished the work he was supposed to do," Arlecchino said.
Each Harbinger was responsible for different matters. The things Dottore needed to do were more or less complete. To put it coldly, he no longer had much value left to use.
"I see. Still, it's a pity. If Dottore's talent had been used on the right path, it would have brought no small benefit to Teyvat."
Rosalyne complained, "Do you think that's possible? Dottore was never a good person. The number of people who died in his experiments is so high you wouldn't dare believe it."
No one felt any regret over Dottore's death.
"Yeah. Dottore is dead, so he's dead. Isn't that something he should have faced sooner or later?" Pipi said.
She had once heard Collei talk about her own experiences, so she knew exactly what kind of person Dottore was. Cold, cruel, and utterly unlike a human being. He had no normal emotions or desires at all. Even gods were probably nothing more than experimental subjects in his eyes.
Once Collei found out about this, she would definitely be very happy.
The Dottore she hated most was completely dead.
