Pardo wriggled out of the cat pajama suit, and the moment her feet touched the ground again, she finally felt at ease.
She was not exactly afraid of heights, but floating around in the sky like that still made her skin crawl a little.
"Elysia-nee, what's going on? Why is there another Elysia-nee?"
"Don't tell me you've got some sister you never told us about?"
Pardo was a little dizzy from the confusion. Their faces were almost identical, but the ears and clothes made it possible to tell them apart.
"She's also called Elysia. As for what you should call her..." Streamer Elysia hesitated, suddenly unsure what name Pardo should use. If she called both of them Elysia-nee, it would be impossible to tell who she meant.
"Call me the Pink Elf, okay?" Elysian Realm Elysia said with a smile.
"Huh? But isn't that your nickname, Elysia-nee?" Pardo scratched her head.
Everyone living in Golden Courtyard knew Elysia's stream. Whenever they had free time, they would drop in to support her.
"It's fine. I'm not that fond of streaming anyway."
Since this was only for the sake of distinguishing between them, Streamer Elysia did not mind. She knew Elysian Realm Elysia and Koji would not be staying here for very long.
"Elf-nee?" Pardo repeated, sounding a little awkward with the strange form of address.
"That works. You can call me that."
"If it still feels weird, you can call me Elysia-nee too. That would still be enough to tell us apart."
Elysian Realm Elysia looked at Pardo. Without the cat ears and tail, it felt a little unfamiliar, but this Pardo was just as cute and optimistic in her own way.
In this world, Pardo could bask in the sun without worry. This was exactly the kind of world Pardo had always wanted.
Only in this world could Pardo truly have the life she wanted, one where she did not have to face life-or-death danger.
Pardo nodded. Calling her Elysia-nee did sound workable.
"Eden, look who this is!"
Streamer Elysia immediately started a video call with Eden, then sat down beside Elysian Realm Elysia. The two close friends appeared side by side on the stream.
"Two Elysias?"
Eden froze for a moment. The sight of two Elysias completely threw her off.
Even through a screen, Eden could tell that aside from the Elysia she already knew, the other one was also undeniably Elysia.
"Hello, Eden. Nice to meet you. My name is Elysia~" Elysian Realm Elysia said with a smile, waving her hand.
"Uh, hello, Elysia."
Since they had never met before, Eden addressed her directly as Elysia rather than using the more affectionate "Ely."
At that moment, Eden felt almost giddy with excitement. Two Elysiās. This was simply wonderful. Double the happiness.
As the number one Elysia fan, her fondness for Elysia was beyond compare.
"Eden, when are you coming back to Golden Courtyard?" Elysian Realm Elysia asked.
"Right away."
Eden thought about it for a moment. She did not have anything especially urgent on her schedule, so she immediately had her assistant arrange a private jet.
Even if there had been something important, it would have to be pushed back in front of two Elysiās.
…
The power of money was set in motion, and Eden returned to Golden Courtyard in no time.
As a world-famous superstar, anything that could be solved with money was not a problem.
"Eden, you got back way too fast, didn't you?"
Even Elysian Realm Elysia had not expected Eden to return from out of town so quickly. So this was the power of wealth?
"It's not that bad. You really do look alike. If I didn't know you didn't have any sisters, Elysia, I'd think Miss Elysia here was your real twin sister." Eden carefully looked the two of them over.
Only someone close to them could tell the difference. To anyone else, even if both stood right in front of them, they still might not be able to tell them apart.
If Elysian Realm Elysia took Streamer Elysia's place on the stream, the viewers would instantly go crazy.
"I think so too. I was streaming earlier, then Elysia sent me a photo in private, so I invited her over," Streamer Elysia said.
"Hm? Two Elysiās?"
Kalpas came back carrying a sack of rice, and the moment he stepped through the door, he could not help but pause in surprise.
His instincts told him there really were two Elysiās.
"Kalpas, you bought rice again? You could've just had it delivered," Eden said.
"Forget it. I've got nothing better to do anyway. Think of it as a way to kill time," Kalpas said casually.
A lot of the chores around Golden Courtyard were handled by him, things like cooking and carrying heavy things.
"Master Kalpas, can you take off your mask?"
"Why?"
Kalpas looked at Koji in confusion. What kind of question was that? It was not as though he made a living off his face, so there was no need for him to take off his mask.
"Come to think of it, I've never once seen what you look like under the mask," Streamer Elysia said, instantly realizing that fact.
Kalpas did not wear his mask every second of the day, but somehow, whenever he took it off, something always blocked the view, so no one ever saw the face beneath it.
"There's no point. Wearing the mask doesn't affect any of you," Kalpas said, seeing right through Streamer Elysia's curiosity. Even so, he had absolutely no intention of taking off his helmet.
With the bag of rice still on his shoulder, Kalpas headed into the kitchen. Even if everyone did not gather all at once every day, the amount of food they consumed was still considerable.
"Eden, have you ever seen it?"
After hearing the question, Eden shook her head.
"I haven't seen what Kalpas looks like either. Since he doesn't want to show it, we should respect his privacy."
Everyone living here could practically be considered one family.
"What do you all want to eat tonight?" Kalpas's voice came from the kitchen.
"Kalpas, just decide for yourself."
No one here was a picky eater.
"Kalpas is a really good cook, you know. All of us agree on that," Streamer Elysia said with a smile.
"Hmph..."
The moment she finished speaking, a very crisp snort came from the kitchen. It was obvious that Kalpas was quite pleased with that praise.
"I know. Kalpas's cooking is delicious," Elysian Realm Elysia said.
No one knew where Kalpas had learned to cook, but even professional chefs could not compare to him.
Koji thought of the Honkai world's Kalpas. His cooking was probably one of the very few that could rival Mei's.
He had never tried it himself, so this time he could finally taste it in person.
"Master Kalpas, can you make a Manchu Han Imperial Feast?" Koji shouted.
"No."
Kalpas was speechless. A Manchu Han Imperial Feast involved an absurd number of dishes. This was just an ordinary family dinner. Even royalty would not go that far every day.
If Koji wanted something like that, he could go ask somebody else.
The first problem was the ingredients. What household kept enough ingredients on hand to prepare a full Manchu Han Imperial Feast? If it all could not be eaten in time, a lot of it would just rot.
And with that monstrous workload, there was no way he could handle it alone.
"Take it or leave it. If you don't want to eat, get out."
Koji might be a guest, but Kalpas was not about to be polite. Koji had been the one to start joking first.
