Kogetsu and Kirasia are seen walking through a forest illuminated by the scarlet moon
"So how exactly are we supposed to activate Configuration?"
"That's assuming if we can even use it of course"
Kogetsu questions
Kirasia doesn't even glance at him
"Well don't you think i would've proposed something if I had figured something out?"
She says sarcastically
"Im not the mood to argue so I'll just agree with you"
"Knowing you have thought of one practical way and another way that we both can agree shouldn't be considered"
Kogetsu remarks
"Option 1 we use downgrade and upgrade at the same time"
"The problem with this being there's nothing strong enough to withstand our abilities with that Damned bird being the only living breathing thing here"
Kogetsu's voice shakes with contained self conflict as if not trying to barf
"Option 2...we hold hands"
"Why because there's high possibility accounting in timing and output"
"That's most likely the trigger"
"And no i highly doubt cutting your hand off will count"
Kirasia stops walking
Kogetsu haults as well
"Hey Kogetsu"
"Yeah"
Kirasia turns to him with her behind her back and with a calm,sweet voice and a innocent expression with her eyes closed she says
"Do you perhaps know how to coat yourself in Downgrade energy?"
Kogetsu tilts his head
"No why would–"
Kogetsu seemingly realizes something and immediately out of panic raised both his arms up blocking a devastating yet precise attack that pushed Kogetsu back a few meters
Kogetsu grits his teeth
'Damn it is this why she asked?'
'My wound healed instantly due to upgrade and her application being perfect '
'But it hurts like hell'
"May I ask why your attacking me"
Kogetsu's was stern but cold
Kirasia cuffs her fist yellow energy surging
Kirasia smirks
"Firstly because I want to release my pent up frustration and second im going to beat the use into"
Kogetsu stares at her before his eyes narrow
"Fine have it your way"
"Downgrade"
Downgrade energy enveloped Kogetsu for a moment as his walks around Kirasia his footsteps completely silent
'Seems like he cancel sound output from his movement'
Kirasia thought
"Downgrade"
Kirasia was also enveloped in Downgrade energy
Kirasia took a few steps back
No sound was made
She just smiled before raising her arms in a fighting stance
Kogetsu stops
His cloak swayed in the calm breeze
Abruptly the two met fist
Kirasia twisted her body delivering a back spin heel kick
Kogetsu jumps over the attack clutching her head with both his hands
He attempts knee to the face
Kirasia blocks it by raising her arms
Kogetsu knee hits her arms
Creating a gust of wind that blows away tge surrounding leaves
Kogetsu steps on her chest jumping back
Kogetsu lands on the ground before the two locked eyes
Immediately they dashed towards each other
Kogetsu sends a right hook aiming for her face
Kirasia uses her left hand to redirect his attack
Shifting the momentum causing Kogetsu to lose his balance but Kogetsu immediately flips
Delivering a an axe kick that Kirasia side steps Kogetsu hits the ground but immediately jumped only to be met with Kirasia foot about to smash into his face
Kogetsu blocks by raising his arms but the attack didn't happen as Kirasia purposely misses redirecting her momentum unto her other leg squarely landing a heel kick to Kogetsu's abdomen
The sound of shattering bones whilst simultaneously sounded
Kogetsu slides on the ground a few meters side ways before halting
Kogetsu falls to one knee
He raises his hand in surrendrence as Kirasia seemingly says something when yellow energy enveloped the two
Kirasia walks towards him extending a handing
Kogetsu stares at it for a moment before getting up himself
"Forget you probably would've crushed"
Kirasia retracts placing her hands on her waist
"Fair enough anyways lets move"
Kirasia hastily turns around her hair hitting Kogetsu's face
Kogetsu groans in irritation before following
A few meters away in a bush a smaller version of the Crimson Oblivion could be seen it's glowing green eyes staring at the two silently watching them
Kogetsu and Kirasia walk for Unknown period of time before arriving at a waterfall of crimson water
The water fall had a large mountain along with it came with several waterfalls pouring into one lake
The two stare at the water before Kogetsu said
"Downgrade"
Kogetsu's body was enveloped in Downgrade energy
Kirasia then smugly says
"It looks like the beating really work"
"Shup up"
Kogetsu replies decisively before lunging into the water
Kirasia looks at his Dissappearing figure as he dives into the water
"Guess im supposed to stay watch"
Kirasia then heard the Rustling of leaves her expression immediately shifts to urgency when the mini Crimson Oblivion lunges out of the bushes with tremendous speeds
'Upgrade'
Kirasia thought
Immediately her body was enveloped in yellow energy as the Crimson Oblivion reaches it claws towards her everything seemingly slows down as Kirasia leave yellow after images appearing next to the monster before delivering a devastating punch to it's gut launching it into the air
Kirasia stares at the monster soaring into the air when her expression changed to shock as she sees the the monsters previously green feathers turn pale white it's eyes dialte then spins before changing a dazzling yellow
The monster screatchs it's body being covered in upgrade energy as it grows in size
'Did it just shift to Upgrade?'
Kirasia thought
The Crimson Oblivion continues to grow inside before becoming colossal matching the mountain waterfall
'This thing as big as mountain!'
The beast Roars when it began gathering white energy in it mouth
"Crap that thing it charging up that erasure attack'
'This is bad i can't stop it eith upgrade neither can I leave since if Kogetsu dies the trial ends'
Suddenly Kogetsu jumps out of the water immediately landing on the ground he dashes and interlock fingers with Kirasia
"NO TIME LETS TRY IT!"
Panic was written all over his face
Kirasia grits her teeth before staring at the Crimson Oblivion
Immediately the two's energies surged at the same time the shouted
The monster unleashed its attack
"UPGRADE"
"DOWNGRADE"
The symbols in there heads glowing yellow amd green
As the monsters attack was enveloped in yellow green energy along with blue energy
The attack shrunk tremendously as the the two let go of each others hands they managed to dodge the attack
Kogetsu glares at the savage colossal before shouting
"DOWNGRADE!"
Immediately the monster was enveloped in Downgrade energy shrinking quickly when Kirasia soared towards it
"Upgrade"
Yellow energy wraps around her clenched fist as she delivers a devastating punch to tge crimson Oblivions body once more
Sending it soaring into the air
"Downgrade max output"
Kogetsu felt a strange force as he staggered when a rift into the tenth layer opened again as the monster is sent flying inside
Kirasia says
"upgrade max output"
The something happening to her as the rift closed
The two fall to there knees as Kirasia remarks
"It should take it a little considering it's using upgrade and I reinforced the space"
Kogetsu says nothing as he stares into the sky
"...yeah"
