Naruto's decision to seek revenge against everyone caught Namikaze Minato and Uzumaki Kushina completely off guard.
Naruto sneered coldly and said,
"Didn't you just ask how I knew of your existence? I never felt any 'sense of closeness' toward you. Everything I know was told to me by the Nine-Tails. It currently possesses only half of its Yang chakra, but it can still sense the existence of its other half—the Yin chakra.
"If, during the Nine-Tails Incident back then, Uzumaki Kushina—the jinchūriki—had truly died, then the other half of the Nine-Tails' Yin chakra should have returned to me and merged with the Nine-Tails inside my body.
"But the Yin chakra never returned. From that, it was easy to deduce that the two of you didn't die in the Nine-Tails Incident—and that one day, you would come looking for me again."
Minato asked in disbelief,
"Naruto… you and the Nine-Tails—"
Naruto cut him off immediately.
"Exactly as you're thinking. The Nine-Tails is my family!"
Minato shouted sharply,
"Naruto! The Nine-Tails cannot be trusted! Don't let it deceive you!"
"Deceive me?" Naruto scoffed. "You self-righteous people always force your own assumptions onto others and believe only yourselves are right. From the moment I was born, I have lived together with the Nine-Tails. If it were deceiving me, do you really think I wouldn't know? Or are you saying the Nine-Tails lied to me—and that you're actually not my parents?"
Minato and Kushina were left utterly speechless.
Naruto stared at them with hatred.
"Do you know how I survived in Konoha? If it weren't for the Nine-Tails, I would've died long ago at the hands of those idiots in the village.
"Ever since I could remember, everyone in Konoha hated me. Do you know what it feels like to be ostracized by kids your own age—to have stones thrown at you until your head is bleeding? Do you know what it's like when half the food you eat is full of sand? Do you know what it feels like for a three-year-old child to be beaten by several adults until he's barely alive?"
With every question, Minato and Kushina felt as though their hearts were being torn apart.
All they could do was apologize in guilt.
"I'm sorry, Naruto…"
Naruto interrupted Minato again, harshly.
"You could never understand! Namikaze Minato—the man hailed as a hero of Konoha, the disciple of one of the Sannin, Jiraiya, and the Fourth Hokage—you were placed on a pedestal from the very beginning.
"And Uzumaki Kushina—although you were a jinchūriki, you entered Konoha as a legacy of the Land of Whirlpools. Even if those idiots feared you for being a jinchūriki, they would never dare lay a hand on you.
"So the two of you will never understand how I felt!"
Kushina's face was soaked with tears as she pleaded in agony,
"Naruto, come with us, please. Leave Konoha. No matter what happens, we'll never be separated again. Minato and I will make it up to you."
Naruto laughed coldly.
"Make it up to me? Sure. Give me the Yin Nine-Tails chakra inside you. Then Namikaze Minato can destroy all of Konoha. If you do that, I'll forgive you and go with you."
Minato and Kushina froze in place.
Minato asked in disbelief,
"Naruto, if Kushina loses the Nine-Tails, her life will end. She's your mother!"
"Heh, so what?" Naruto sneered. "Didn't she say she wanted to make it up to me? Looks like you're unwilling after all. In the end, Konoha is still more important than me, isn't it? You two hypocrites—what a pity you didn't die in the Nine-Tails Incident."
Naruto's voice dropped low as he shouted,
"Kurama!"
In an instant, Naruto's body was enveloped in a crimson chakra cloak, and three tails emerged behind him.
"Uzumaki Kushina, as a jinchūriki, you never even knew the Nine-Tails' true name, did you? You who only knew how to enslave it must have never once asked how Kurama felt.
"The moment Kurama and I opened our hearts to each other, he became the only family I have left in this world.
"And my entry into Root wasn't forced—I went there willingly. All so I could rely on Root's power to the Eight Trigrams Seal you left on me."
With a twisted grin, Naruto launched himself toward the nearest target—Uzumaki Kushina.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Serial Waves!"
Dozens of spinning, blade-like wind projectiles burst from Naruto's mouth, tearing toward Kushina's vital points.
Minato instantly appeared at Kushina's side and pulled her out of the wind blades' range.
"Kushina! Don't lose focus! Naruto truly intends to take our lives!"
But Kushina's spirit was already on the verge of collapse, and she couldn't hear Minato's words at all.
"Kushina, we can't let Naruto bear the charge of killing his own parents—otherwise, there will be no turning back for him!"
Light slowly returned to Kushina's eyes, but Naruto's next attack had already arrived.
"Wind Release: Vacuum Bullet!"
As Naruto exhaled, chakra in the air was fired out like bullets.
Minato and Kushina continuously shifted positions to evade.
Seizing an opening between Naruto's techniques, Minato threw a Flying Thunder God kunai.
Naruto dodged it effortlessly.
In the next instant, Minato used Flying Thunder God to appear behind Naruto, extending both hands to restrain him.
Naruto smiled mockingly.
Suddenly, a chakra arm formed from Naruto's cloak and reached backward, grabbing at Minato.
Minato used Flying Thunder God once more to escape.
"You're known as the Yellow Flash, Namikaze Minato. How could I not guard against your signature Flying Thunder God Technique?"
Naruto used Body Flicker and instantly appeared beside Kushina, a highly condensed, rapidly spinning sphere of chakra forming in his hand.
"Rasengan!"
Seeing Naruto so close, Kushina's eyes lost focus—she forgot to dodge.
Minato appeared in front of her at once, reaching out and seizing Naruto's right wrist—the one holding the Rasengan.
Caught by Minato, Naruto didn't panic. Instead, he grinned eerily.
"Got you, Namikaze Minato!"
Naruto reversed his grip, grabbing Minato's wrist. A pitch-black sphere of ultra-compressed Tailed Beast chakra formed before his mouth.
Minato's pupils shrank sharply. He immediately broke free, grabbed Kushina, and used Flying Thunder God to escape the area.
Naruto's Tailed Beast Ball missed, slamming into the ground.
In an instant, a violent explosion erupted, blasting a massive crater into the earth as dust and debris filled the air.
Seeing the attack miss, Naruto clicked his tongue.
"Tch… fast reactions."
In the distance, Minato stared at Naruto with a grave expression.
He couldn't understand how Naruto—only in a three-tailed state—was able to release a Tailed Beast Ball at all.
