Aurora was getting ready for her doctor's appointment when her door opened, and Luciano walked in.
"Hey you're back. Did you prepare the car?"
She whipped her head behind, and her eyes enlarged a little when she saw it was Luciano.
"Hey," she said with a bit of awkwardness.
Luciano sat next to her on the bed, and turned to the side to fully look at her.
"Are you going out?" He asked.
"Yeah, to the hospital. Vitto is taking me."
"Why? What's wrong?" Worried lines covered his forehead instantly.
"Oh no, there's nothing wrong. Just regular check-ups, you know?" She looked down at her stomach and then back up at him.
"Oh, okay. How are you doing? Really doing?"
"I'm great, actually. I don't feel sick, so that's wonderful."
"Good," he bobbed his head. "So good to hear that."
Pulling his eyes away from her, he looked around her room.
His thoughts moved to the first time they came into Neravalle after it had been successfully built.
