Chapter 344 - Chapter 344: Arrival in the Fourth Great Ninja War World

Chapter 344: Arrival in the Fourth Great Ninja War World

"Flying Thunder God Technique!"

Li Yao formed seals and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique—but didn't teleport immediately.

Zzzzz... Time Reset Ryūmyaku Chakra surged through his body, endlessly restoring and channeling chakra into the Flying Thunder God technique.

Cross-dimensional teleportation demanded even more chakra than Li Yao had expected.

It took a full ten minutes of uninterrupted chakra infusion before he finally amassed the massive reserves needed to cross worlds.

Meanwhile...

In Naruto's timeline, after failing to locate Yamato at the Loran ruins, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai decided to return to Konoha to consult the Fourth Hokage's records and any intel related to the Ryūmyaku.

They knew too little. Only by understanding how the Ryūmyaku functioned could they hope to retrieve Captain Yamato.

At that moment, the trio was traveling across the desert.

"Hmm?"

Inside Naruto, Kurama suddenly sensed a faint trace of malice appear near Naruto—then vanish.

If not for his supreme sensitivity to malice, even Kurama would've thought he imagined it.

But he knew he hadn't. Though he could no longer sense the presence, it was definitely real—just far away now.

That presence… was Li Yao.

Before arriving via Flying Thunder God, Li Yao had entered a liquified, water-permeation state—melding with the air itself.

In that state, even Li Yao couldn't detect his own presence. Only Kurama's absurd ability to sense malice had noticed him.

Li Yao soared into the sky, not lingering near Naruto or taking any action. It wasn't time yet.

Remaining in his permeated state, he ascended higher.

At ten thousand meters, once Naruto and the others had moved far away, he reappeared.

"Just as I thought—Ryūmyaku chakra connects all the Naruto parallel worlds."

Sensing no abnormalities in his body or chakra, Li Yao smiled slightly.

He'd been right: the Ryūmyaku was like a spacetime river, and each Naruto parallel world was an island upon it.

By absorbing 90% of the Ryūmyaku's chakra, he now had a ferry—one that allowed him to enter any Naruto world without being rejected by spacetime itself.

In this world, he was no different from a native.

That was perfect—it meant he didn't need to continuously suppress rejection with Ryūmyaku chakra.

Now that the spacetime resistance issue was resolved, it was time to absorb the power this world had to offer.

A smile naturally curled on his lips.

Now that he had arrived in the Naruto world just before the outbreak of the Fourth Great Ninja War, Li Yao realized—this world was overflowing with power he wanted.

One of the two Kotoamatsukami Mangekyō Sharingan was with Danzō. He could take it anytime.

One of the Kamui Sharingan was in Kakashi. Also ripe for the taking.

The other Kamui eye, in Obito, would be just as easy to steal.

Once he had Kakashi's Kamui, he could send a shadow clone into Obito's Kamui dimension. That would nullify Obito's intangibility. Add Kotoamatsukami's genjutsu? Obito was finished.

Just another bug.

Then there was something Li Yao had long coveted: Natural Energy.

In this world, he could finally obtain it.

That Jūgo kid, who could absorb natural energy, was now part of Sasuke's Team Taka. Once Li Yao found him and copied his bodily data, he could Perfect Transform into him and begin sensing natural energy himself.

Given his precise control over physical and spiritual energy, merging them 1:1:1 to create Sage Chakra would be no problem.

If that didn't work, he could wait for Naruto to master Sage Mode and then copy the chakra directly. That might even give him full mastery instantly.

Lastly, the only power in this world that truly intrigued Li Yao: Kekkei Mōra and Truth-Seeking Orbs.

For that, he'd need a clone to become the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.

Li Yao didn't plan to become the Jinchūriki himself. He was wary of the fact that even the Sage of Six Paths had eventually given up being one.

Until he reached Sage level, he wasn't about to risk it.

Instead, he'd have a clone become the Ten-Tails' vessel, extract the Kekkei Mōra chakra properties, and then destroy the clone.

Let someone else play god—Li Yao only trusted power he could personally control.

People like Mukade, who could only borrow the Ryūmyaku's power, were just lambs waiting to be slaughtered once their source was cut off.

And to become the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki?

You didn't need all nine Tailed Beasts' chakra.

Nine complete beasts were overkill and hard to control—just like in the original story. Li Yao only needed enough to reach that Six Paths Gatekeeper tier.

His real goal was to copy the chakra nature of Kekkei Mōra.

That simplified everything.

Poof! Poof! Poof!

Li Yao created three shadow clones.

One to locate Obito, one to find Sasuke, and one to tail Nagato. All three would wait for Li Yao's main body to arrive.

As for himself, he would head straight for Konoha to steal Kotoamatsukami and Kamui.

Whoosh!

Li Yao and his clones parted ways. He arrived in Konoha before Naruto's team returned.

In this world, Danzō's chakra signature was nearly identical to the one in the other timeline. Li Yao entered the spatial interlayer and effortlessly slipped through Konoha's numerous barriers, arriving at the Foundation's underground base.

As expected of the Shinobi World's "Darkness," Danzō rarely left his underground fortress.

In his office, Danzō sat at his desk reading a sheet filled with numerical symbols.

It was the coded message Jiraiya had left after his battle with Pain.

"The Rinnegan… What kind of power does it truly hold?"

"It defeated Sage Mode Jiraiya…"

Danzō muttered as he set the page down, lost in thought.

Konoha—and Danzō—weren't unfamiliar with the Rinnegan. He had ordered Itachi to infiltrate the Akatsuki precisely to gather intel on it.

Yet Itachi had sent back nothing.

Now he was left deciphering Jiraiya's cryptic notes with no context—utterly lost.

His expression darkened.

"Damn Uchiha…"

Inwardly furious, Danzō thought, "So that brat really did become Konoha's greatest threat after all."

He'd seen the Rinnegan long ago.

Back then, he had even joined forces with Hanzo the Salamander in an attempt to eliminate the Akatsuki's leader—only to be crushed by Pain's Rinnegan.

That battle had shocked him into retreat. Even Hanzo, the so-called Demi-God of the Shinobi World, had fled. Danzō knew he stood no chance.

Since then, he had kept a close eye on the Akatsuki…
