Forest Of Acrata....
Lucian stood a few meters away from the house. He stood beside his mother, Linda, awaiting instructions on how they would start today's drills.
He was considerably a boy with heavenly appearance that could capture the attention of anyone..., Just about anyone who sets his/her eyes on him.
He was quite lean, not too skinny though, but with a perfect height for his age. He had a perfect set of white teeth and a dark-blue eyebrow that lay on top his eyes. His eyes were framed by majestic blue lashes that seemed abnormal, for an ordinary human.
Even his hair was naturally blue.
Although, it was quite abnormal for him to have a natural blue hair as blue as the blue sea, coupled with the fact that he never had a hair cut since he was little.
His blue hair was now long, reaching past his shoulders, matched perfectly with his azure blue eyes and blue eyelashes.
His otherworldly blue eyes seemed to be like orbs and this all made him look so heavenly breathtaking.
His supposed beauty is beyond comparable to any human child. He is simply heavenly in every aspect of his appearance.
His blue hair, blue eyes and lashes and his supposedly unique blue spiritual energy, almost made him look like a blue alien, especially everytime he used his magic abilities.
Well, even at the age of eight, he even looked tall for his age but still, he had a perfect height.
Upon everything, his features and appearance made him cute and beautiful at the same time. No doubt, he carried some sort of angelic beauty and grace, that's definitely related to the beings called Angels.

"So today, we're gonna be doing something different".
Lucian listened wholeheartedly as his mother spoke. She didn't just stand in one spot while speaking, she stalked and circled round him as she spoke, like a true Martial arts master.
"What are we going to be doing today, mother".
Linda smirked hearing his enquiry.
"You remember..... that since you were four, I have always trained you.... Trained you to be strong and powerful, and you have proven to be very progressive in your training. For which I am proud of".
Lucian nodded his head in understanding. His hands behind his back as he seriously listened to his mother's words.
Currently, he's wearing his favourite black pajamas, making him look like a little assassin.
"Yesterday, we had concentrated in improving your control over the use of your spiritual energy..... and now, it seems that you have become so good in your magic. Almost even better than me".
"So in essence, what are you saying,.. mother?"
Lucian asked immediately, trying to understand where his mother was going with her words .
Linda's smirk widened as she stopped stalking around Lucian. She stood in one spot in front of Lucian.
Lucian could obviously see that his mother had a mischievous plan in mind for today's training, just like she always do.
Only that, he may not totally agree with his mother's plans for today.
"Today, you are going to duel with me..."
Lucian gasped in disbelief hearing his mother's words.
He was about to disagree when his mother continued, cutting him off...
"If you win against me, then I have taught you well... and if you don't, then I have failed in teaching you".
Lucian immediately protested, refusing on the spot, upon hearing his mother's intentions.
"What?!.... That can't happen. I can't fight you, mother..... and also, you've taught me well, there's no need to fight you in order to prove it".
Lucian said, taking a step forward towards his mother, while staring into his mother's eyes.
He tried to use his overwhelming handsomeness and cuteness to convince and persuade his mother.
Linda sighed and closed her eyes, doing her best not to allow Lucian's handsomeness get to her. She opened it after steeling her resolves and making sure, Lucian wouldn't be able to use his overwhelming beauty to sway her off what she had planned for today.
"Listen, Lucian. Fighting me is not only to prove that I have taught you well.... But also to end your four years of training".
"Does that mean, if I win against you..... you will train me no longer?"
Lucian asked with a cute pout spreading on his face. His blue eyes squinting in pure act of beauty and cuteness.
Linda closed her eyes, already feeling her resolves weakening and breaking. But she nodded her head and opened her eyes again. "Exactly..... I think it's time you rely on your own strength to grow stronger and if I'm not wrong, you are definitely stronger than me..... You and I know that".
Lucian grumbled in disagreement, still not convinced that fighting his mother was a nice idea.
"But fighting you is still uncalled for. There some things in some spells that I don't get. I don't have to fight you in order to end the training you have always done for me. Please, reconsider mother".
Linda smiled an encouraging smile. A smile she had always worn in order to encourage Lucian anytime he faces difficulties. A smile she still wore even till now.
"Trust me Lucian. Fighting me and ending your training is the right decision. I think you are strong enough to get even stronger on your own".
Hearing Linda's encouraging words, the little Lucian reluctantly nodded.
He reluctantly agreed to accept the challenge and duel with his mother, Linda.

Once again, they stood far apart. The Little house owned by Linda was just a few meters away from sight. The spot where Linda had chosen for today's drills was okay, just the same spot for drills as always.
Once ready, Lucian took a fighting stance before acknowledging to his mother that he was ready.
Linda immediately charged at Lucian with a speed, quite impossible for a lady of her age.
Her speed and steps were light, almost soundless as they were charged with internal spiritual energy.
Lucian anticipated the attack and blocked it. The aftermath of the powerful punch being blocked was felt by Lucian.
Linda followed up with multiple punches, aiming for different angles in order to overwhelm Lucian. Lucian blocked each punch, trying his best to dodge as he was forced backward.
He was forced backward even more as Linda kept throwing punch after punch, already overwhelming him.
Finally stepping back from her relentless punching, she raised her knee to deliver a brutal kick to Lucian's abdomen but Lucian sprinted back at the last second and landed flawlessly three feet away. Lucian breathes heavily, his breathing laboured after surviving Linda's relentless punching.
"You are fast and calculating. That's good, you've learned well". Linda said, her voice dripping with surprising vibrant energy, quite impossible for her age of early fifties. "But we aren't done here".
With an increased speed, Linda charged at Lucian again.
The wind, as a result of her speed, left dry leaves fluttering about behind her. Lucian blinked just only once and in the next second, Linda was already in front of him driving a clenched fist from the right side.
Lucian was able to dodge it,..... although barely.
The punch grazed his cheek, sending him staggering a bit.
Linda didn't stop.
She advanced once again, assaulting him with multiple punches and kicks.
Although, Lucian's balance was disrupted by Linda's earlier punch, he was still able to keep up with her relentless assaults. Linda's relentless assaults pushed him back, further and deeper into the forest.
"You keep going on the defensive side. Why aren't you attacking back?" Linda inquired mid fight, her punches and kicks flying out in the air towards Lucian. "Stop holding back or this fight will never end".
Lucian clearly heard what his mother said, but still refused to fight back.
He was reluctant to go on the offensive side and therefore, could only block, dodge or redirect his mother's attacks.
Apart from that, he was currently covered in bruises that came from punches and kicks he couldn't dodge.
Also, it may have seemed that assaulting Lucian steadily with punches and kicks may have taken a toll on Linda, as she soon started showing signs of tiredness, exhaustion and weakness.
Lucian, noticing his mother's weakness, decided to use this chance to fight back and subdue her.
One wrong move of Linda and she created an opening. Lucian saw the opening and seized the opportunity to deliver a devastating kick to his mother's head, that sent Linda flying backwards.
Linda, being thrown backwards by Lucian's powerful kick, found herself on the dirty ground. She registered the fact that she was sent flying and immediately forced herself to get on her feet.
She currently showed more signs of weakness and exhaustion as she struggled until she finally got back on her feet.
"It's much more better if you don't hold back on your power and strength".
Linda said through laboured breathing.
She held her chest, doing her best to recover strength as much as possible and continue fighting.
As a result of Lucian's kick and Linda being sent flying by it, a bad bruise formed on Linda's cheek, exactly where she had used to hit the ground.
Lucian quickly noticed the bruise.
"You've got a bad bruise on your face, mother". Lucian spoke, his voice filled with worry. He had a worried expression on his face. "I think we should quit for today".
Linda touched the supposed cheek and found out what Lucian was saying was actually true. She sighed, greatly exhausted.
"No need to worry about this, son. You've got more bruises all over your body than I do. It's only in one place anyways. Despite that, you still held back, half of your strength".
"But mother, I don't wanna hurt you. You and I know that I am stronger than you. So there's no need to keep proving it".
Lucian looked at his mother's with pleading eyes, still trying to convince her to call off today's morning drills. But Linda looked at him with a look of finality.
"That's enough Lucian. We are not done here".
Lucian wore a defeated look hearing his mother's words.
"Okay mum. We may continue".
Linda nodded in acknowledgement. Lucian took a stance, getting ready for whatever his mother had in store. She could be unpredictable sometimes.
With that, Linda moved. She didn't just move, she chanted a spell.
"ULTIMATE TELEPORTATION!!"
Linda chanted and disappeared.
She teleported to Lucian's back and in a split second, sent a ball of condensed green spiritual energy at him.
Lucian couldn't react in time, neither did he even have time to dodge. He was hit squarely by the ball of green spiritual energy and was sent skidding a few feet away.
What followed was an explosion of green light that made the ground tremble.
Birds took flight and chirped loudly in fright. The ground trembled and shook really hard that it was as if an earthquake would follow.
A bright green glow illuminated the perimeters as the aftermath of this explosion and in the m idst of the green glow, Linda stood unharmed. Her breathing laboured and uneven, and her standing a little bit bent, giving her a wrong posture. She seemed to have exerted are lot in that attack, her earlier bruise still on her cheek.
The dust settles and cleared to reveal an empty surrounding. A small crater being formed as a result of Linda's attack, was at a few feet away.
But Lucian who was hit with squarely with a ball of condensed green spiritual energy was nowhere to be found.
Linda unsuspectingly let her guard down for a second as she looked around trying to locate Lucian.
"ULTIMATE TELEPORTATION!!"
She unmistakably heard a spell being chanted and spun around.
She only saw a fierce blue glow until she was blasted away by whatever was giving the glow.
During the attack, she lost consciousness, she only saw a blue glow but didn't get to see who attacked her before loosing consciousness.

Sorry for the delay. Things are just so tight right now.
