To peer across the endless expanse of the Multiverse is to look into a mirror fractured into a million infinite shards. Each shard reflects a different life, a different choice, and a different configuration of the exact same soul. In the cosmic registry monitored by the Astral Nexus Research Institute (ANRI), no single individual anchors the fabric of reality with as much volatile mass as the entity known across the dimensions as Hakuna.
While the Multiversal Constant ensures certain baseline truths—high-level intelligence, leadership, and raw potential—remain fixed, the path each variant travels reshapes the very destiny of their respective worlds.
These are the recorded anomalies, kings, tyrants, and echoes of the Prince who have crossed the threshold of our journey:
The Prime Frequency: Hakuna (Our Timeline)
The baseline of our story. He is the young Prince of the Letebele Clan and the designated Vessel wielding the abyssal powers of the Demon, Peripheral Psycha. His destiny was forever altered during the brutal Tribal War when he was just 16 years old—an incident that resulted in the tragic passing of Princess Nolitha. Before her death, they formed a sacred Royal Tie, leaving Hakuna to carry the weight of her memory and the latent potential of her Talent, Celesti.
What makes our Hakuna so uniquely dangerous compared to his multiversal counterparts isn't just his power, but his balance. While other variants isolated themselves or became gods through solitude, our Hakuna stood as an equal among giants. His journey is defined by moving forward through grief, aiming to master the harmonious transmutation of Nzilo and Daemonium.
The Eternal Sovereign: King Hakuna
A terrifying testament to pure, unrefined longevity. This variant was also chosen as a Vessel for Psycha, but his timeline diverged early: he never met Nolitha, and thus the Royal Tie was never formed. Following the devastating aftermath of a Tribal War highly similar to our own, he watched his loved ones fade into history. He eventually succeeded his older brother, Sehloho, as the Head of the Letebele Clan, but outlived him—and everyone else.
Now, having walked the earth for over 6,000 years, his power belongs solely to himself and Psycha, mastered to an absolute, unimaginable degree. Honoring his father's original, protective objective to keep the world safe from catastrophic demonic interference, King Hakuna chose to pull his clan into complete isolation. He remains deeply hidden from the Lesotho Mountains, a silent immortal ruling over ghosts, ensuring that no living soul can ever exploit the dark power of a demon again.
The Tyrant of Ash: Lord Hakuna
The tragic product of unyielding grief and spiritual corruption. Hailing from a timeline that progressed past the events of the Tshabadira Retaliation, this variant did form the Royal Tie with Nolitha. However, when the princess died, he utterly refused to move on from his sorrow. Because his heart remained shackled to the past, he was spiritually incapable of performing the Dance of Light to cleanly reunite with her departed spirit.
This emotional stagnation blocked him from ever truly mastering Celesti. Though he retained technical, academic knowledge of its execution, he could never unleash its full scope. This failure ripped a jagged, permanent rift directly into his soul. Sensing this vulnerability, Psycha's Daemonium energy—despite the demon's own well-meaning intentions—slowly bled into the fracture, corrupting his mind. Lord Hakuna became a hyper-intense, merciless dictator. He slaughtered the BBC of his era before they could ever reach their true potential, crushed all opposition, and renamed the scorched, ash-ridden earth Terra Inferni—a land of absolute tyranny, and the monument to his ultimate shame.
The Shattered Role: Princess Nolitha
A profound twist in the cosmic script where the roles of the star-crossed lovers were completely inverted. In this parallel universe, the tragedy of the Tribal War struck differently: the Prince died in the incident instead of her.
Left with the crushing weight of his passing, Nolitha did what Lord Hakuna could not—she processed her grief, moved on, and successfully inherited and mastered Hakuna's own foundational Talent. However, her struggles shifted from the battlefield to the court. As a princess of a highly traditional Xhosa Clan, she constantly clashes with the weight of ancient expectations. Her father continuously demands she find a suitable suitor, pressuring her to marry a "good man" to lead the clan by her side, all while she secretly harbors the world-shaking power of the fallen Prince.
The Pure Element: The Unvessel Hakuna
A variant defined by the absolute perfection of human limitation. In this timeline, Hakuna's father passed away before the Prince was even born, meaning the Demon Psycha was never passed down to him as an inheritance.
Stripped of any demonic shortcuts or abyssal power sources, this Hakuna was forced to rely purely on his own mortal grit. Through sheer, unadulterated training and willpower, he pushed the absolute mechanical limits of regular Nzilo energy until the fabric of his flames cracked, successfully unlocking Divine Nzilo. Yet, despite achieving the absolute apex of elemental mastery, his lacks the dual-energy complexity of our prime Hakuna, leaving him structurally outmatched by the cosmic hybrid states of our main character.
The Unawakened Aristocrat: Prince Hakuna
A civilian echo existing in a world of political maneuvering rather than cosmic warfare. While he maintains his high aristocratic lineage as a prince of the Letebele, this version does not possess the reality-bending powers or supernatural Talents of the other variants.
He is, for all intents and purposes, an ordinary young nobleman. To prepare him for his future administrative responsibilities as the rightful leader of the Letebele Clan, he was relocated to Klerksdorp to further his mundane academic studies at Milner High School. His world is one of textbooks, protocol, and traditional leadership, entirely untouched by the shadow of Daemonium or the fury of Nzilo.
The Architectural Blueprint: The Flamboyage
Standing at the absolute apex of the multiversal power scale is the entity known simply as Flamboyage. He is the terrifying, physical manifestation of the exact blueprint our Hakuna was raised to become—but running on a completely separate, sovereign universe. He is a total tyrant; a walking monolith of pure, unadulterated Absolute Power.
Flamboyage transcends the standard rules of the magic system. He does not possess the dark powers of Psycha, nor did his timeline ever feature a version of Nolitha to grant him Celesti. He requires no external tools, no demons, and no ties. He is a cosmic force unto himself—a being who naturally commands paralyzing fear and absolute, unyielding respect in tandem wherever he walks.
The Architect: Samuel
Amidst the cosmic archives of kings, tyrants, and gods, a completely separate anomaly exists within the transmission framework. The voice behind the curtain. The architect of the script.
They call me Samuel. I have no powers, I just so happen to have a love for storytelling, if you want to know more about me then interview me or something…
