Previously on Hakuna, the King of the Letebele had summoned the prince for an urgent meeting, only to be dismissed by a trivial discussion about his upcoming move into the Milner High School residences. Later, the principal summoned the BBC and the Head members of the EXCOs on an off-day to discuss the looming existential threat of the 40 Days of Corruption. However, before the briefing could be completed, the alarm started blaring. Most of the assembled students, conditioned by months of demon warfare, thought it was a Level 9 Demon incursion, but Hakuna, with his refined sensory network, knew the truth: there were no demons attacking. The alarm was the signal, and the 40 Days of Corruption had just begun.
Fade in…
The Breakdown of Resistance
Hakuna was seen standing in the principal's surprisingly large, heavily shielded office, surrounded by the core members of the BBC, the Principal, Mr. Lupuwana, and the two Heads of the EXCOs, Vanessa and Sibusiso. The red emergency light was strobing, casting long, frantic shadows across the faces of the trapped students.
The enormous, reinforced security door remained hermetically sealed, impervious to their efforts.
Super spoke first, his voice dripping with reluctant admiration for the enemy's tactics. "Well, I do admit they planned this perfectly. An absolute masterstroke of tactical organization. Stopping the one and only true physical threat to their rebellion plan by locking us, the demolition force, up in here. Is there any alternate way out of this room, sir? A panic room, perhaps?"
Mr. Lupuwana, usually so composed, was visibly shaking, his hands pressed against the heavy, bulletproof glass of the window. "No, Super. The walls and the doors are engineered from a classified, high-density material reinforced with Tetrachromium. They activate an inertial dampening field as soon as they detect any significant kinetic or elemental attack against the structure. And when the primary door locks up like this, it simultaneously activates a complete energy seal that virtually nothing—not even conventional military ordnance—can break through. It only opens automatically when the external threat has been completely neutralized."
Super then spoke flatly, the undertone of his annoyance escalating into barely contained fury. "I'm going to ignore the extremely unsettling fact that you just blatantly admitted to prioritizing the personal safety of your immediate administrative staff over the thousands of vulnerable students you're supposed to protect, sir. We can address the moral implications of that decision later. For now, tell me: how the hell do we get out of this ridiculously over-engineered prison?"
Hakuna cut him off, a faint, determined light igniting in his eyes. "I got it. I've been training for force application like this."
His eyes began to glow with an intense, burning purple as he consciously forced the activation of his latent Celesti power—the fused energy of Nolitha and the core Demonic Entity that lay dormant within him, using it as a catalyst[1]. Ripples of displaced reality, subtle distortions in the visual spectrum, began forming in the air around his body. The air pressure in the room immediately dropped, creating a vacuum effect.
With a rapid burst of pure speed, he vanished from his spot and instantly reappeared directly in front of the locked, unyielding door.
"What exactly do you plan on doing, Hakuna?" Super questioned, stepping back slightly, recognizing the dangerous, unstable energy radiating from his rival.
Hakuna's voice was no longer his own; it was deep, resonant, and echoed with the distorted, metallic sound of immense, raw power. "WELL, IF THESE OVER-HYPED DOORS CAN WITHSTAND A MERE EXPLOSION, THEN MAYBE I HAVE A LITTLE SUGGESTION FOR A DIFFERENT TYPE OF FORCE APPLICATION… A MORE FINAL SOLUTION!"
Vanessa, witnessing the raw, terrifying spectacle of the Prince's actual power for the first time, felt a cold dread settle in her stomach. She thought to herself, her heart hammering against her ribs. "His voice… it's layered with sound, like two voices speaking at once. And this heat! I can barely breathe; the air feels scorched! Is that truly his own power, or is he unleashing something else entirely?"
"What is it, Hakuna? What is your 'suggestion'? Spit it out!" Super demanded, shielding his eyes from the intense purple corona.
Hakuna replied, his voice still shaking the air. "YOU JUST WATCH, SUPER! THE ONLY THING THAT CAN NULLIFY A MATERIAL IS THE CANCELLATION OF ITS MATTER!"
He placed his right hand—which now seemed to be glowing with the heat of a collapsed star—flat against the cold, inert metal of the security door. As he did, all other sound in the room seemed to be instantly sucked away. Everything went silent.
"DISINTEGRUS…" Hakuna pronounced the arcane spell, calling upon the most fundamental principle of Max's destructive magic. It was a word that carried the weight of atomic collapse.
The doors, designed to withstand physical explosion and elemental magic, began to crumble instantly. They were not blown apart; instead, they collapsed inward, almost as if they were turning to fine, ethereal gray dust, or more accurately, ash as they faded completely away from existence, leaving nothing but an open, clean-edged hole in the frame.
Sibusiso muttered, his massive frame momentarily still. "Incredible… I've never seen anything erased with such surgical precision."
Hakuna's energy immediately returned to normal, the purple glow receding from his eyes, leaving him slightly winded but fully alert.
"You guys ready?" he asked, his voice returning to its normal, seventeen-year-old tenor.
Vanessa, still slightly shell-shocked by the display, thought to herself, processing the drastic shift. "His voice is back to normal now, and that suffocating heat is gone. He switches from normal to godlike in seconds. Hakuna, who or what are you?"
Super, his own mind reeling from the sight of the material simply ceasing to be, thought to himself, a mix of jealousy and respect stirring in his gut. "There he goes again, the damn prince. Always pulling out some technique or power we've never seen before. He's always one step ahead."
"Let's go. We need to secure the campus perimeter," Bodega beckoned, his martial instincts taking over.
They all burst out of the shattered doorway and ran into the empty hallway, leaving the utterly defeated and bewildered principal behind.
Chills of Anguish
But as they made it outside, into the open courtyard, they were immediately ambushed. A large group of masked, black-clad student rebels, emerging from hidden points in the shadows, hurled numerous high-impact, low-grade concussion explosives at the feet of the BBC and the EXCOs. These weren't intended to kill, but to neutralize and disorient.
With a deafening bang, the immediate area was instantly covered in a thick, choking cloud of acrid, gray smoke and kicked-up earth.
However, as the smoke began its slow process of clearing, a distinct, radiating yellow glow—the pure, crystalline signature of Letebele Energy—was seen pulsating through the heavy smog.
A calm, resonant voice cut through the noise. Kamohelo spoke, her stance firm. "Do not worry, your highness. We anticipated this exact moment of vulnerability."
Sefate then added, her voice sharp with protective urgency. "We'll ensure your safety. They will not breach this line."
Both Kamohelo and Sefate had appeared silently in the chaos, materializing in the courtyard the second the explosives detonated. They had instantly placed a shimmering, impenetrable Energy barrier around Hakuna and the others, shielding them completely from the blast and the subsequent shockwave.
"Who are these two individuals, Hakuna? They appeared out of thin air, and their energy is massive," Super asked, momentarily distracted from the fight by the new, powerful allies.
Hakuna replied, dusting off his jacket. "My Royal Squadron. They're supposed to be guarding my brother, but I think he had the foresight to send them after me after our 'urgent' meeting."
The energy barrier dissipated as quickly as it had formed, revealing the now-undamaged group.
Hakuna took command instantly. "Alright, let's get to it. We need to clear this area before they can call in reinforcements. Everyone, on your mark, get set, GO!"
The nine students—the BBC and the Head Boy/Girl—disappeared in nine separate blurs of motion as they quickly executed an overwhelming counter-attack, efficiently knocking out the rebelling students with precisely aimed, non-lethal strikes. The rebels, while armed with explosives, were no match for the DDF's coordinated combat skill.
But as the BBC were about to secure the final rebel, a new figure materialized with silent, terrifying speed. A Masked Man, dressed in simple but intimidating black tactical gear, slammed a heavy, specialized boot directly into the back of Hakuna's head, driving his face instantly and violently to the ground. The force of the strike was immense, shaking the courtyard once more.
Kamohelo and Sefate both yelled in furious unison, "Prince Hakuna! Get away from him!"
The Masked Man stood over the downed Prince. His voice was cold, synthesized, and completely devoid of human warmth. "Oh my, you look defeated, Prince Hakuna. You are far slower than I anticipated." This simple, cruel phrase sent a violent, agonizing tremor down the prince's spine—not of terror, not of awe at the man's power, but of pure, unadulterated Anguish. The voice, the phrase, the method of attack—it all resonated with an old, deep trauma.
Sefate, her face contorted with rage, shouted, "You stay away from him! I will not allow you to touch the King-Apparent!"
She flared her own Letebele energy, a dense yellow aura beginning to rise around her, preparing for a full-scale assault.
Before she could even take a single step, the Masked Man spoke again, raising a placating hand. "Well, there is no need to fight as of yet. I have accomplished my primary objective. Do not worry, we will see each other again, Prince. You have too much potential to waste on petty school rebellions. In the meantime, I'll leave you to deal with that distraction."
The distraction he referred to arrived instantly. A true monster materialized twenty meters away: a towering Level 8 Kaiju Class Angel Blood Demon. It shrieked with a sound that was less a noise and more a physical wave of disruption, loud enough to crack the windows in the surrounding buildings. It was a guttural, scraping roar, an immense vibration that rattled every metal object in the vicinity, including, most disturbingly, the delicate, advanced Titanus Skeleta bones in Hakuna's own body.
"Ahh, shit. This day just keeps getting better," Super sighed, his jaw tightening at the sight of the enormous beast.
"You should have learned by now that power is measured by loss. Farewell, Hakuna. For now, that is," the masked man said, his chilling voice echoing the pain he had just inflicted.
The remaining rebels, along with the terrifyingly fast Masked Man, vanished instantly, leaving the BBC, the two EXCOs, and the Royal Squadron alone to face the towering Angel Blood Kaiju.
Super muttered, preparing to engage. "Damn. I'll deal with the, eh—"
Finality
Super was cut off mid-sentence by a sound that defied the very roar of the Kaiju.
Hakuna roared. It was a primal, tortured sound of pure, unbridled rage and agony, a noise ripped from his very soul, amplified by the fused energies within him.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
An immense, incandescent purple pillar of light—the color of activated Celesti fused with uncontrolled Demonic Inferno—erupted instantly, enveloping Hakuna completely. The light surged high above the courtyard, licking the clouds, a pure column of concentrated destructive force. The pillar thrummed for a single, agonizing second, causing the ground to shake like a minor earthquake, and then, just as suddenly as it appeared, it winked out.
Vanessa thought to herself, struggling to breathe in the aftermath. "The heat is back! It's radiating off him like a supernova. Ah, this is too much."
Hakuna emerged from the settling dust cloud and residual smoke with a look of pure, homicidal rage etched onto his face. His hair was slightly singed, and the skin around his eyes was glowing. Both his fists were aggressively shrouded in volatile, searing purple flames, and his eyes glowed with such an intense, focused light that his glare alone seemed capable of incinerating a person in an instant.
Both Kamohelo and Sefate instantly fell to their knees, their heads bowing deep to the enraged Prince as he walked past them. The sheer, overwhelming pulse of his unleashed energy distorted reality itself, creating visual shimmer in the air and bending the light around his form.
And then, he was simply gone.
"Where did he go? He vanished completely!" Super yelled, frantically searching the sky.
All was silent for one single, breathless moment. The only sound was the distant shriek of the confused Kaiju. And then, out of nowhere, an enormous, catastrophic explosion was heard, seen, and physically felt throughout the entire campus, shaking the very foundations of the buildings.
As the BBC and the EXCOs ran towards the immense column of smoke, they found the Kaiju gone. Hakuna was seen standing at the center of a massive, newly formed crater, his expression still one of cold, focused fury. Around him lay only dust and the instantly-vaporized remains of the Angel Blood Demon.
Vanessa muttered, her voice strained with disbelief. "He defeated a Level 8 Kaiju Class Demon… with a single, instantaneous attack?! That is impossible. The amount of power required…"
"Impressive…" Sibusiso muttered, that single word being the only thing able to escape his massive, stunned mouth in utter, profound awe.
The Masked Man was seen, now standing silently on the roof of a high-rise building not too far from the blast site, watching the crater through a specialized scope.
He said, a low, calculating sound escaping him. "Hmhm. What an enigma you are, Prince Hakuna. You are either the greatest warrior the world has ever seen or a ticking time bomb of self-destruction."
He vanished slowly, his shadow dissolving into the afternoon light, still watching Hakuna from a great distance. The plot, it seemed, had only just begun.
Fade out…
End of Episode 51.
[1] Since Hakuna hasn't fully mastered Nolitha's power as of yet, he uses the volatile nature of Psycha's Daemonium as a catalyst to kick start the near full extent of Celesti, hence the purple energy.
