Chapter 327 - Chapter 327: Angry Soul in Exchange for Cloud Dragon Cub

At Qinglong Temple, Gale met August Celestial Yu'lon.

Yu'lon curiously observed Gale; she could feel that the elf before her possessed power even greater than her own.

"You wish to exchange for Cloud Serpents?"

"That's right!" Gale explained, "In my opinion, Cloud Serpents are a very magical creature. They shouldn't only live in the sky; they can also live in the Great Sea."

Gale pointed to Hydross, "This is my third son. I've tasked him with managing all the oceans. However, the ocean is simply too vast. He is alone and weak, finding it difficult to manage even one sea region, let alone all of them."

Yu'lon was somewhat puzzled, "You are a king of the land; the Great Sea is not your territory."

Gale nodded, acknowledging Yu'lon's point, "Indeed. According to traditional territorial concepts, I shouldn't concern myself with the affairs of the Great Sea. But as the monarch of Azeroth's most powerful empire, I have a responsibility to help Azeroth clear all threats in the world, including those in the Great Sea. We have assembled a powerful navy and allied with Water Elementals, yet we still cannot thwart the Old Gods' schemes. Therefore, I must strengthen the navy, especially the deep-sea forces."

"Hydross is quite capable; he has successively subdued the Primal Turtle, Orca, and Swordfish Murloc, forming two armies. However, he still needs help. Cloud Serpents would be an excellent aid. Their slender bodies, like sea snakes, can move through the deep sea. Moreover, Cloud Serpents are very strong and possess sufficient wisdom to manage a sea region effectively."

Yu'lon hadn't expected Gale to say this. Setting aside whether Gale's assertion of responsibility was correct, the idea of Cloud Serpents entering the deep sea to command could indeed make them good administrators. Supplemented with other intelligent creatures, they could certainly stabilize the sea regions.

The Four August Celestials are all demigods, and they were once Freya's attendants. They know the Titan Guardian's duty: to protect Azeroth and eliminate any danger that threatens it.

Before the War of the Ancients erupted, the oceans were governed by Sea Giants. Their immense size and powerful strength could resolve many deep-sea threats. However, after the Well of Eternity exploded, the land shattered, and the oceans surged, not only increasing the sea regions but also releasing many threats.

The number of Sea Giants began to dwindle, as those ancient enemies possessed the ability to kill Sea Giants. Over the years, Sea Giants have become fewer and fewer, especially in the Great Sea, where they are almost nonexistent.

Yu'lon hadn't seen a Sea Giant in thousands of years. If Cloud Serpents could take over the Sea Giants' duties, she would be pleased.

"How do you wish to exchange?"

Gale said, "I know how to craft artifacts, and I can use artifacts as exchange."

Artifacts? Yu'lon looked at the eternal spear, "Artifacts of this caliber?"

Gale smiled, "Certainly not to the extent of the eternal spear, but they will definitely be very powerful."

Yu'lon then looked at the trident of the tides. She could tell that these artifacts hadn't been created long ago and were likely all crafted by Gale. A blacksmith capable of creating such artifacts would surely produce something of high quality.

"Alright! Then craft a pair of fist weapons. The Shado-Pan doesn't yet have a treasure to guard their sect."

Shadow Master was stunned; he hadn't expected Yu'lon to give artifacts to the Shado-Pan.

"No problem!"

Gale smiled. He also had some blueprints for fist weapons. To show his sincerity, he took out the most powerful blueprint, modified it to suit a Monk's use, and then began forging.

Wrath Soul comes from Honor of Kings; in the game, it's a divine item. When activated, it adds a shield. The more attacks suffered, the higher the shield's defense value. At critical moments, it can have the effect of defying fate.

Gale remained at Qinglong Temple, sending Hydross with the Primal Turtles to search for the whereabouts of Thunder Isle. Although he believed he was stronger than Lei Shen, he wasn't arrogant; he still made all necessary preparations.

At Qinglong Temple, Gale communicated with the Monks and learned about their three major specializations: Brewmaster, Windwalker, and Mistweaver.

Brewmasters got their name from Drunken Fist. Pandaren love alcohol, and Monks are no exception. Thus, Drunken Fist emerged and became very popular among Monks.

Windwalkers excel in palm techniques. Powerful palm strikes like Tiger Palm and Rising Sun Kick give Monks immense offensive power.

Mistweavers specialize in creating healing mists and are the healers among Monks.

When Monks use abilities, they consume Chi. Therefore, the amount and recovery rate of Chi can determine how powerful a Monk is. So, Wrath Soul must be modified to amplify and restore Chi.

Monks cannot use energies other than Chi, so Wrath Soul must have the ability to store other energies and convert them into Chi.

Pandaria is filled with Sha, so Wrath Soul must have the ability to collect Sha, convert it into a shield, and block enemy attacks.

With the design nearly complete, Gale began crafting.

He used eternal gold to create the prototype of Wrath Soul, then used the Reality Gem to alter the prototype's physical properties, retaining its powerful defensive capabilities while making it as soft as fur.

Then Gale inscribed titan runes on it, carving numerous rune sets. This allowed it to store Chi and possess the ability to convert Sha.

Finally, Gale took out the azeroth heart, and Wrath Soul was infused with a large amount of Sha.

Once completed, Wrath Soul looked a bit evil but was extremely safe.

After entrusting its functions to the Shadow Master, Gale had fulfilled his agreement.

Yu'lon kept her word and gave Gale four pairs of Cloud Serpent hatchlings.

Gale immediately infused the eight Cloud Serpent hatchlings with a bit of AlAkir's essence and neptulons essence. After the essence entered their bodies, the eight Cloud Serpents immediately transformed. They began to love water, had clouds accompanying them when they flew, and could even control lightning and strong winds, almost indistinguishable from the Dragon Kings in Chinese legends.

Gale gave the names of the Four Dragon Kings of the Four Seas to the four male dragons and assigned them to manage specific regions of the Great Sea.

Ao Guang managed the sea region between the Eastern Continent and Redridge Mountain, Ao Qin managed the sea region between Pandaria and The Maelstrom, Ao Run managed the sea region between Kalimdor and Zandalar, and Ao Shun managed the sea region between Northrend and the Broken Isles.

The four female dragons were responsible for the water systems of the Eastern Continent, Pandaria, Kalimdor, and Northrend, respectively, tasked with bringing clouds and rain to prevent natural disasters.

Of course, all of this would only be implemented after they grew up. For now, they needed a safe environment.

Gale took them back to Sky City and raised them in the artificial lake.
