Chapter 320 - Chapter 320 Pandaria

Returning to Ganil, the Mother Tree, Aviana immediately summoned the Storm Crows. These Storm Crows were her kin and her dependants.

She also wanted to transform them into Golden Crows to help her deal with the Nightmare Power.

However, Aviana's Sun God Power was still very limited, and it would take a great deal of time to transform all these Storm Crows into Golden Crows.

Gale would not stay in the Emerald Dream for long; he still had many things to do.

Returning to the Sun Temple, Gale teleported the Sun Temple near the sun. He needed to replenish the sun furnace's energy to continue manufacturing golden armor and forge artifacts for the other constellation lords.

The Sun Guards also needed to come into contact with the sun to draw power from it and enhance their strength.

Azeroth seemed to have returned to a period of calm; although small skirmishes were constant, major wars had largely ceased.

Stormwind City in the Redridge Mountains entered a development phase, with various resources like mines and farms needing to be exploited. The southeastern economic zone, centered around Stormwind City, revitalized the entire empire's economy after joining the Kaldorei Empire.

During this process, the Earth Spirits and mechanical gnomes who remained in Uldaman also emerged from Uldaman and entered the northern Loch Modan region.

There, they established the town of Thelsamar.

Due to the flesh curse, the Earth Spirits had degenerated into Dwarves. Among the Dwarves, an outstanding leader named Anvilmar emerged. Through the power of his bloodline, he learned earth magic. One of these spells, called Avatar, could make Anvilmar exceptionally powerful, and the Dwarves respectfully called him the Mountain King.

The Dwarves held an enthronement ceremony for Anvilmar in a southern valley, electing Anvilmar as the King of the Dwarf Kingdom.

From then on, this valley was known as Kings' Valley. The Dwarf Kingdom, with Uldaman as its capital, learned the Kaldorei Empire's methods of governance, mining ore, developing farms, and trading with Stormwind City.

To ensure smooth trade routes, Uldaman and Stormwind City simultaneously built mountain roads to facilitate merchant caravans.

In Zandalar, King Rastakhan, the Troll Emperor, was discussing matters with numerous loa.

Toga had already reported Hydross's affairs to King Rastakhan, and Rastakhan was very much in favor of the idea of invading Pandaria.

Unlike the history of Warcraft, Zandalar and Pandaria were connected in this timeline. Although the mist created by Shao Hao enveloped Pandaria, the Zandalar Trolls could still grope their way into the mist via land, though it was somewhat difficult to get out.

Over the years, the Zandalar Trolls expended a great deal of manpower and resources, finally marking out a passage that allowed them to enter and exit the mist without hindrance. Afterward, the Zandalar Trolls prepared supplies for decades, getting ready for war.

Today, they were finally ready.

King Rastakhan formulated a strategic plan and then issued the order to attack.

The Troll Army departed from Dazar'alor, heading south until they reached the edge of the mist. They established a camp there as a staging point for the invasion of Pandaria. Following the path marked by scouts, they arrived unhindered in the northern part of Kun-Lai Summit.

Kun-Lai Summit is the sacred mountain of the Pandaren, home to their largest zen courtyard—the Shadowpan Monastery. It is said that the Pandaren monk profession flourished from here.

At the highest point is the Temple of Five Dawns, the dojo of the August Celestial White Tiger Xuen.

Due to Kun-Lai Summit's complex terrain and harsh environment, few civilians reside there. To the north of Kun-Lai Summit, only one village exists.

Jokkin Village is located on the plains north of Kun-Lai Summit, inhabited by several hundred Pandaren who cultivate fields to provide food specifically for the White Tiger Temple.

And today, Jokkin Village faced an unprecedented crisis.

After the Troll Army arrived in northern Kun-Lai Summit, they immediately advanced on Jokkin Village. Troll scouts discovered the existence of Jokkin Village after entering the mist.

Because the Pandaren of Jokkin Village had no combat capabilities, they were quickly occupied by the Zandalar Trolls. Except for a small number of Pandaren who escaped, most Pandaren were captured by the Trolls.

The Trolls interrogated them for information about Pandaria, but most Pandaren preferred death over speaking. However, some Pandaren could not endure the Trolls' torture and gave in.

The Troll general leading the army, upon learning of a Pandaren temple on the mountain, immediately launched an attack up the mountain.

However, Pandaren refugees had already transmitted the news of Jokkin Village's occupation by the Trolls to the White Tiger Temple.

Xuen, the August Celestial, dispatched monks to rescue the villagers, and the two teams clashed halfway up the mountain, initiating a skirmish.

On the rugged mountain path, the Trolls could not fully utilize their numbers, making it difficult to leverage their numerical advantage.

Conversely, the Pandaren, with their agile movements, maneuvered between the rocks, always finding opportunities for one-on-one combat with the Trolls, and then, relying on their powerful individual strength, eliminated the Troll soldiers.

The Troll Army suffered a setback and had to temporarily retreat, setting up their formation at the base of the mountain, hoping for a decisive battle with the Pandaren.

However, the monks did not fall for it. They took a small path, bypassed the Troll formation, and rushed to Jokkin Village.

The Pandaren ambushed the garrison and, while the garrison was mobilizing troops, successfully rescued some Pandaren captives. The Troll general immediately pursued these Pandaren, following them to find the small path up the mountain.

However, they were thoroughly outwitted by the Pandaren, who exploited the complex environment of the small path.

Having been thwarted twice in a row, the Troll general had to reconsider his strategy.

He simultaneously reported the situation to King Rastakhan and dispatched scouts to reconnoiter the area.

Upon learning of the battle situation, King Rastakhan immediately summoned Toga. Toga brought the Primal Turtles to Pandaria, circumnavigating Kun-Lai Summit along the coast and arriving at Jade Forest.

The Troll general heavily guarded the mountain roads, then cut down trees to build ships by the sea. The Troll Army, guided by the Primal Turtles, shifted their campaign to Jade Forest.

Jade Forest has flat terrain with no natural defenses. The Pandaren towns and villages, caught unprepared, were no match for the Troll Army and could only temporarily retreat to the nearby Temple of Five Dawns.

The Temple of Five Dawns is also a place for monk training, and upon learning of the Troll invasion, the monks mobilized to engage in guerrilla warfare with the Troll Army, hoping to slow down the Troll Army's advance.

On the other side, they also sent people to notify the Cloud Serpent Rider Squadron. The Cloud Serpent Rider Squadron is the strongest army of the Pandaren, formed during the period when the Pandaren overthrew the Mogu rule, and has now developed quite maturely.

As one of the most powerful legions on Azeroth, the Cloud Serpent Rider Squadron is fully capable of defeating the Trolls. However, the Troll Army was not only composed of Trolls but also included Toga and the Primal Turtles he led.

The Cloud Serpent Rider Squadron, arriving as reinforcements, immediately encountered resistance from the Primal Turtles. Having been strengthened by Hydross, the Primal Turtles' water magic had become very powerful, already posing a threat to the safety of the Cloud Serpents.
