Chapter 180 - Chapter 180: Special Training in Progress

Along the coastline, waves crashed endlessly against the shore, rising and falling in a steady rhythm.

Crawdaunt stood firmly at the edge of the beach, its massive claws swinging again and again as it smashed into the incoming tides.

"Crawww!"

Even against towering waves, it did not retreat. Each strike grew heavier, its movements becoming more refined as it adapted to the pressure.

The same motion repeated thousands of times, until at a certain moment, Crawdaunt suddenly leaped forward.

Water-type energy gathered around its right claw, compressing rapidly before it slammed down with explosive force.

Boom!

The massive wave was split apart instantly, scattering into countless droplets across the beach.

At that exact moment, its aura surged.

Silas narrowed his eyes slightly. Crawdaunt had leveled up. Having only recently broken through to the Elite level, it had now taken another step forward.

This growth was not just the result of training, but the accumulation of resources—Sea Incense, mid-tier Pokéblocks, and the green potions provided by Team Rocket.

Before he could think further, another surge of energy erupted from the ocean.

Sharpedo burst out of the water with a sharp cry, its presence rising rapidly.

"Shaaaarp!"

Silas remained calm as he observed the change. Sharpedo had also broken through to the Elite level. Unlike Crawdaunt, this advancement was expected.

It had already been close to the threshold, and the potion simply pushed it past it. More importantly, there were no signs of instability. The breakthrough was smooth and natural.

He crouched slightly near the water, placing a hand on Sharpedo's rough scales.

"Your training needs to change."

Reaching the Elite level meant that basic resources were no longer sufficient. Low-tier Pokéblocks had already lost their effectiveness, and even standard nutrition would no longer provide meaningful improvement.

At this stage, only mid-tier Pokéblocks could sustain proper growth.

However, producing them himself was still too difficult. For now, he could only rely on purchasing them from the market.

"If Pokéblocks aren't enough, then I'll adjust everything else."

Returning to the tent, Silas began writing rapidly, refining Sharpedo's training and diet. Its current intake consisted mainly of Dark-type and Water-type Pokéblocks, but that alone was not optimal.

He started modifying the formula, adding ingredients like Phoenix Pear and Lotus Seed to enhance durability, improve resistance against Electric and Fighting-type attacks, and sharpen its bite force.

This was no longer about increasing raw energy, but about refinement.

Meanwhile, Crawdaunt continued its brutal training at the shore, repeatedly smashing waves with its claws. Each impact strengthened its body and reinforced its offensive power.

In contrast, Sharpedo trained within the ocean itself, swimming against powerful currents to improve its Speed Boost ability and its control over Water-type energy.

The intensity of such training was far beyond normal standards, but Silas had high expectations.

Sharpedo was his only reliable mount at sea, while Crawdaunt remained the absolute core of his team and his strongest combatant.

The breakthroughs did not go unnoticed. Not far away, Rose and the twin brothers had all seen what happened.

Silas caught the subtle change in their expressions.

There was a hint of unwillingness, mixed with a trace of pressure.

Until now, everyone had been roughly equal.

But with Sharpedo becoming his second Elite-level Pokémon, Silas had taken the lead.

This silent competition had already begun.

Without exchanging words, the others intensified their training. Over the next few days, their Pokémon also began to break through.

The twins' Gyarados and Golduck reached the Elite level, while Rose's Pidgeot followed soon after.

However, something felt off.

Lucian, their assigned captain, had completely disappeared.

For several consecutive days, there was no sign of him at all, as if he had simply vanished.Silas frowned slightly, but quickly dismissed the thought. As long as his strength continued to grow, everything else was secondary.

As the sun set, the ocean turned golden under the fading light. The waves reflected the crimson sky, resembling a sea of fire.

Above the water, Honchkrow soared before diving straight into the raging waves.

The impact sent water exploding into the air, but this time it was not swept away. Instead, it endured the force, gradually adapting and pushing through the tide.

Silas watched quietly. This method of training was extremely dangerous, and not all Pokémon could withstand it. Rock-type and Ground-type Pokémon would never survive such conditions But Honchkrow endured.

Moments later, a black figure shot out from the sea, flying low across the surface before rising into the air. A soft white glow enveloped its body, and a few black feathers drifted down.

"Caw!"

Its injuries disappeared instantly, and its stamina was fully restored.

Roost had been successfully mastered.

As the tide gradually receded and night approached, the day's training came to an end. Silas gently dried Honchkrow's feathers with a towel, his expression calm as he observed its condition.

Its growth rate had become astonishing. The residual energy from the Dusk Stone, combined with the green potions and constant high-intensity training, had pushed its strength forward rapidly.

Yet Silas felt no concern.

Its foundation had already been tempered through repeated battles and harsh training.

This growth was stable And far from reaching its limit.
