Chapter 178 - Chapter 178: The Beach

A small helicopter hovered above the coastline.

Its blades roared loudly, stirring up sand and wind but the beach below was completely deserted, so there was no concern about being seen.

Five figures dressed in white combat suits descended one after another, gripping ropes as they landed steadily on the shore.

Silas glanced briefly at the others, then shook his head slightly to clear his mind before observing his surroundings.

The vast ocean stretched endlessly ahead.

Beneath his feet lay soft sand.

Waves surged toward the shore in relentless succession, crashing violently. Some of the larger waves in the distance rose over ten meters high, roaring like wild beasts.

Not far away stood a jagged cliff. At its base, dark rocks endured the constant battering of the sea, water splashing violently and carving strange, natural patterns over time.

Winged Pokémon occasionally flew across the sky.

Beneath the sand, remnants of molted shells could be found—Krabby, Corphish, and even Kingler.

Silas bent down casually, picking up a piece of shell and examining it.

The difference was obvious.

Kingler's left claw was significantly larger.

As someone with breeding knowledge, Silas could easily distinguish such details—far more than ordinary trainers at his level.

He stored the shell in his space ring.

After grinding it into powder, it could be mixed into Pokémon food as a useful nutritional supplement.

...

"Lord Lucian, is this our training ground?"

Rose's soft, alluring voice sounded as she approached, swaying slightly.

Lucian frowned faintly and stepped back, pushing her away without hesitation.

"Yes," he replied calmly. "This beach will be your training ground for the next month."

As he spoke, he took out four space rings and handed them to each of them.

Silas caught his and immediately probed inside.

Before he could inspect everything, Lucian continued:

"There are sufficient resources inside. One green potion per day can accelerate a Pokémon's growth."

"This is a privilege reserved for members at our level."

Silas focused his senses inward.

Inside the ring hundreds of green potions.

Each one shimmered faintly, releasing strands of energy.

At that moment, the older twin frowned.

"There aren't even any wild Pokémon here. How are we supposed to train?"

"Are we just supposed to fight each other?"

Silas had already noticed the same thing.

There were barely any Pokémon nearby.

Lucian didn't answer.

Instead, he looked toward the ocean.

Wave after wave surged forward.

Stronger.

Heavier.

Relentless.

Suddenly "Gengaaaar—" Gengar rushed forward, letting the waves crash directly against its body.

The immense force of the tide slammed into it again and again.

Silas's eyes sharpened slightly.

He understood instantly.

"Tide Body Training…"

Using the body to resist nature itself.

Repeatedly.

Endlessly.

"To strengthen their bodies," Silas murmured softly.

Lucian spoke without turning back.

"You can use moves to break the waves."

"Or… endure them directly like this."

He paused slightly.

"But be careful at night."

"The tides become far more violent."

"Even Elite-level Pokémon can be dragged under and die."

After that brief warning, Lucian walked further down the coastline, clearly intending to train alone.

The remaining four exchanged glances.

Then silently dispersed.

Silas stepped toward the shore and released his Pokémon.

Crawdaunt.

Sharpedo.

Honchkrow.

Sandile and Umbreon remained beside him.

The others did the same.

Soon, the beach turned into a silent battlefield against nature itself.

.....

Observation

While training, Silas quietly observed the others.

Rose's team remained mostly unchanged from before.

However her Venusaur had clearly broken through to the Elite level And she had kept it hidden.

Even during her promotion.

Silas narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Scheming…"

The twins, on the other hand, used a mixed team.

Not specialized like his or Rose's.

The most eye-catching was a massive Gyarados.

Even from afar, its huge blue body surged through the waves, charging directly into the tides.

Though occasionally swallowed by the sea ,it would soon emerge again.

Relentless.

Another Pokémon was Golduck.

The red gem on its forehead glowed faintly.

"Kwaa!"

With a sharp cry, its psychic power activated.

The massive wave before it froze mid-air ,then collapsed harmlessly.

At the same time Rose's Pidgeot took flight.

Its body glowed white as it charged straight into the waves.

"Pidgeeot!!!"

The sharp cry echoed across the coastline.

Silas observed everything carefully.

Everyone here was strong.

Each had at least one Elite-level Pokémon And their second Pokémon were all close to breaking through.

"Pidgeot… Gyarados… Golduck…"

"At least Level 38 or higher…"

Silas turned his gaze toward the ocean.

Sharpedo's fin cut through the water like a blade.

Fast.

Precise.

Like a predator returning to its domain.

"My Sharpedo is already Level 39…"

"There's a high chance it will break through within this month."

Nearby Crawdaunt stood firm at the shore.

Whenever a massive wave approached, He struck with his claws.

BOOM!

The wave shattered violently.

Water scattered in all directions.

....

Time passed.

The sun gradually sank below the horizon.

The crimson glow of dusk faded.

The tides slowly calmed.

"KRRAA…"

Honchkrow landed beside Silas, his body soaked, breathing heavily.

Silas smiled faintly.

He gently patted his head, then took out a towel and dryer to clean its feathers.

After hours of training the improvement was obvious.

From being swept away at the start ,to resisting and then to breaking through the waves.

Every bit of progress he had witnessed.

Silas looked at his Pokémon.

"Well done."

"You've worked hard."
