Chapter 254 - The Cosmic Graveyard

Silence fell… a silence so heavy that the heavens themselves seemed to have stopped breathing.

The Children of Light stood motionless.

As for Kim… he remained staring at his shadow. At that face which resembled him more than he resembled himself.

Then… space suddenly shattered.

Colossal golden cracks tore through the sky, and pillars of divine light descended upon the earth like heavy chains.

In the next moment… they appeared.

Seven giant wings split the heavens apart.

**The Angels of the Highest Throne.**

The air vanished. The entire continent suffocated under the crushing weight of their sheer presence.

As for Amon… his eyes widened instantly.

> "No…"

One of the angels stepped forward with agonizing slowness. She was a woman with long white hair and luminous eyes completely devoid of emotion. Yet behind her cold facade… there was a visible dread. A fear of Kim.

She raised her hand slowly, and instantly, the darkness around Kim froze.

> "Kim… Son of Chaos."

> "The Final Key."

> "By the decree of the Heavenly Throne… you shall be erased from all existence."

The fabric of space trembled. But Amon immediately threw himself in front of Kim.

> "Stop!"

The aura of light exploded around him.

> "He has already lost everything!"

> "What more do you want from him?!"

The angels looked down at him in silence. Then, another angel spoke, his voice sounding terrifyingly ancient.

> "His mere existence is a catastrophe."

> "The Chaos within him grows faster than the prophecy."

Amon ground his teeth violently.

> "Then kill me with him!"

For the first time, a faint trace of shock flashed across the faces of some of the angels.

As for Kim… he remained silent. Terrifyingly calm. It was as if something inside him had finally grown too tired to resist.

Then, suddenly… an angel who had not uttered a word since the beginning spoke. He wore a pitch-black robe amidst the white angels—a strange, discordant anomaly among them.

He slowly raised his eyes toward the Heavenly Throne above the cracks, then said:

> "Killing him is a mistake."

Everyone turned toward him instantly. Even Amon.

The Black Angel continued calmly:

> "If the Son of Chaos is slain… what lies within him might be unleashed."

Silence reigned. Then he pursued:

> "But there is another place."

The eyes of some of the angels quivered immediately, as if the mere thought of that place was forbidden.

> "The Cosmic Graveyard."

The color drained entirely from Amon's face.

> "You are insane…"

As for Kim… he slowly raised his eyes for the first time.

The Black Angel continued:

> "A place outside the boundaries of existence."

> "A one-way portal."

> "Whatever is cast into it… never returns."

> "Not even gods."

The heavens shuddered. Some of the angels began to whisper in fear.

> "That place is cursed…"

> "Even light cannot survive there…"

> "Entire civilizations have vanished inside it, and the most terrifying creatures have been banished there…"

But the Black Angel did not care. Instead, he looked directly at Kim. And for the very first time… a faint glimmer of pity surfaced in his eyes.

> "There… he will die slowly."

> "And he will vanish forever."

Amon clenched his fist violently.

> "Do not send him to that hell!"

He spun toward Kim rapidly.

> "Kim… run!"

But Kim only… smiled. A very small, profoundly exhausted smile.

Then, he said calmly:

> "I am tired, Amon."

> "The story will not be complete… for the Light does not write history; it merely illuminates what the Darkness writes with my death. You will all become heroes in a meaningless novel, an end with no purpose."

Amon's heart shuddered violently.

As for Kim… he raised his gaze toward the sky.

> "Perhaps…"

He paused for a heartbeat.

> "This is best for everyone."

Amon's eyes widened.

> "Don't say that!"

But it was already too late.

The angels began chanting an ancient incantation. The universe shook, and the sky cracked wide open.

Then… a colossal door materialized behind Kim. A black door the size of a world, bound by infinite chains.

And behind it… lay nothing. Only void. A darkness that made everyone's souls instinctively shiver.

**The Cosmic Graveyard.**

Even the angels themselves could not look directly at it.

As for Kim… he stood before it in silence, the shadows swirling slowly around him. He turned toward Amon for the very last time. His eyes… were painfully peaceful.

> "Thank you for everything… Do not weep, my friend. The Cosmic Graveyard is not a punishment for me; it is the only place where this world will finally cease to fear me, and where I can at last… sleep."

He paused, then added:

> "Amon, I entrust my family to you."

Then, he lowered his eyes down and said:

> "They are not a family in the truest sense…"

But he raised his eyes again, looking at him with a smiling face. Yet it was not a smile accompanied by happiness, but by total, unadulterated agony.

> "I entrust those I love to you, my brother."

His eyes were overflowing with tears—blood-colored tears, salty with absolute pain.

Amon trembled. Then, he screamed in pure madness:

> "Kimmmmmm! Noooooooooooooooo! My brother!!"

But the chains suddenly moved. Light exploded. And Kim's entire body vanished within the door.

Then… it shut.

In the next moment… silence reigned. A silence that made even the angels shudder.

As for Amon… he fell to his knees slowly, his eyes utterly hollow.

> "He's… Nooooo! Aaaaahhhhh! Why?! Why didn't you just kill him?! This is an execution sentence, you bastards!!"

But they did not know…

That something had gone wrong.

Something… that not even the Heavenly Throne had anticipated.
