"What the hell is this?" The moment Sirius appeared, he violently tore apart the Dementor with a Patronus Charm, then picked up the floating envelope and glanced at it.
The meaning inside was clear: Harry Potter had violated school rules and the Statute of Secrecy by casting magic outside of school, and now needed to await a summons from the Wizengamot.
"This is utter nonsense! Dementors are practically on his face, so why can't a Little Wizards use magic to protect himself?!" Sirius angrily tore the entire envelope to shreds.
"Please don't do that, Mr. Sirius Black. Your current impotent rage is meaningless, because we have as many letters like this as we want." With another bang, Umbridge appeared at the Dursleys.
It could be said that today the Dursleys' house was like a public restroom; anyone could come and stroll through.
"You are... oh, that pink toad! But I remember you were exiled to Africa or somewhere by Fudge, weren't you?" Sirius said grumpily.
Umbridge glanced at Sirius. She deeply disdained this person who relied on his family's old money and foolishly got himself sent to Azkaban for over a decade.
How foolish must one be to do something as absurd as getting oneself sent to Azkaban for something that doesn't even exist?
Umbridge immediately gave him no quarter: "Clearly, Minister Fudge discovered my true potential, and so I have been reassigned back."
"Heh heh... like a three-way power strip? No, I can't imagine what kind of person would make you a power strip." Sirius said with a shiver of disgust.
Umbridge heard this vulgar insult without a ripple in her heart. She never took the empty boasts of losers to heart. She merely looked at the two of them haughtily, and once again pulled out an envelope from her embrace.
"It's a pity... our... Miss Harley Potter still needs to await a summons from the Wizengamot." After speaking, she casually threw the letter on the ground and Apparated away.
"This person is quite annoying, isn't she?" Sirius waved his wand to restore the Dursleys' messy living room, then shrugged at Dursley, who was cowering in the corner, showing a helpless expression. He then pulled Harry back to the residence he had bought next door, patting Harley's shoulder to comfort her.
"What did she mean by, 'I need to await a summons from the Wizengamot'?" Harley asked, sitting on the sofa, feeling somewhat cold.
"You can understand it as the court of the magic world, but don't worry, Dumbledore has a lot of political assets. Last time Kayson cut off Fudge's entire arm, and after going to the Wizengamot, obviously, he was fine. So, this court can, in some sense, still be considered fair." Sirius comforted.
Unlike Harley's situation, the Headmasters office at Hogwarts was a different scene.
Kayson looked at Snape, who had returned dusty and tired, feeling genuinely happy and giving him a big hug.
Dumbledore, meanwhile, listened as Snape recounted how he had used Karkaroff's life to regain Lord Voldemort's trust, while looking at a thick stack of letters in his hand.
Some of these were from long-established Great Wizards, others were strange reassignments made by the Ministry, as mentioned by Barty Crouch and Scrimgeour.
Fudge had suddenly used the excuse of resisting Lord Voldemort to make these Wizards leave England, each to handle their own affairs.
And these Wizards all had one thing in common: they were either Wizengamot members with good relations with Dumbledore, or some stubborn and unyielding Wizengamot members.
"What new trick is Fudge playing..." Dumbledore frowned, and quickly realized, looking at Kayson: "Go to Harry's place, and if not Harry, then to another Little Wizards close to Harry."
Kayson nodded, and in the blink of an eye, arrived at Privet Drive, Harry's home.
....
"So this is their method? Ordering Dementors to attack Harley, then charging Harley with using magic outside of school? I'm a bit confused by this Umbridge, really. What good does doing this do them? With this much free time, they might as well control Dementors to assassinate Barty Crouch and Scrimgeour in the middle of the night."
Kayson sat by the fireplace, speechless after listening to Sirius and Harley's jumbled account of the entire incident.
"I don't know either, could it be some kind of elaborate scheme?" Sirius asked.
"Heh heh, it's not that I look down on those rotten fish and shrimp in the Ministry of Magic, but holding meetings and arresting people requires not only us to attend the meetings, but also for them to have the ability to make arrests. Could it be that they can hide ten or eight Lord Voldemorts somewhere to ambush us?" Kayson sneered.
"What about the trial after that? You also said that Dumbledore's confidantes have mostly been reassigned," Sirius continued to ask.
"Unless you now want Dumbledore to disregard resisting Lord Voldemort and call back all those Wizengamot members who went out to get reinforcements to play a mock trial with us, otherwise, we'll just have to deal with whatever comes our way," Kayson said with a shrug.
"The problem is how to deal with it. Now the Wizengamot only has Fudge's few rotten fish and shrimp and spineless members left," Sirius said.
Kayson raised an eyebrow: "Spineless? Fudge is the biggest spineless one."
Sirius breathed a sigh of relief and settled into the sofa without speaking.
Harley, however, was clearly still not right. She sat on the sofa, her body appearing somewhat stiff.
The next day....
The Wizengamot summons arrived as scheduled, and the three of them came to the Wizengamot.
It was the same as last time, but last time Kayson sat in the defendant's seat, with Dumbledore behind him defending him.
This time, Harley sat in the defendant's seat, and he, like Dumbledore in the past, sat behind Harley to support her.
This time, the Wizengamot seats were not full, and there were many new faces Kayson hadn't seen last time. They passed Kayson and Harley one by one, their eyes unanimously avoiding the two of them.
Until Kayson, sitting in the back, smelled a pungent perfume.
Then, a plump pink body appeared beside him and Harley.
Umbridge walked here and specifically stopped, whispering in a voice only the three of them could hear: "Enjoy this trial, my dears....."
"I am enjoying it," Kayson calmly murmured.
